I actually think these are really good. It makes you realize how much Bocephus actually sounded like his daddy. I looked into what it takes to do these and you're doing a heckuva job!
Hearing Hank sing these songs that he wrote but never got to record are great. It makes you wonder what it might have been like had he lived.

Bought this album probably in the 60’s when it first came out still have theses songs were when Hank passed some just lyrics some just music Hank Jr finished these songs and recorded one of the best albums I have of Hank Jr.
Fred Rose made such wonderful music Hank Jr is so talented it's true the apple didn't fall far from the tree I saw him back during this time and he put on a Great show.

I hear a lot of similarities between this and the mid-1960s "Hank Williams with Strings" albums where they had a full orchestra overdubbed on old original Hank Sr. recordings. The melody of this is also similar to Hank Sr.'s "Why Should We Try Anymore."
