Thanks for watching! We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising; however, we can now say we are officially hooked. Hi Guys another informative vlog, looking forward to your vlogs from your Iceland cruise pictures you have posted look like it is a really interesting trip.
"Not the one in Birmingham" 🤣🤣. What struck me is your perception of those e-scooters. They have such a bad reputation in the UK as being dangerous to the rider and the public but I don't know why. They're so handy. When I went to Lisbon I saw they had the same company that we have here in Lodz (Bolt), so I hopped on one and whizzed around a bit. Next time, take a chance. They're lots of fun and you can get to see a whole lot more. In hilly Lisbon, they were a godsend. Another great video. Malaga looks stunning. I keep meaning to ask, what makes the Ultimate Gin and Tonic ultimate?
We think it’s all in the preparation and how they rub the lemon etc around the glass before adding anything. The drink itself has Hendricks Gin, Lime Wheel, Lemon Peel, Juniper & Tonic
With all the port activities both of you partook, did you ever visit the gym on the ship? 🏋♀ @13:53 - Based on all that walking/climbing you probably ended up with a caloric deficit by the end of the day. Love the focus on the ports of call with your cruise and the day trips without the group excursions. On your recent cruise did you take advantage of the fee-based excursions? Thanks for all the frequent posts.
Hi, The gym was the one area of the ship we visited once when filming our ship tour 😑. We tend to explore each destination independently and that does involve a fair bit of walking 😁 On Sky Princess we didn’t do any paid for excursions, all the ports either had a shuttle or they were an easy walk. On our current cruise, we have done a number of paid excursions and once we are back on land we will start putting those together to share with you. 👍
@@TomandDomTravel Based on your timely posts can we assume 🤨all the negative reviews about the Medallion app and the Internet speeds are exaggerated? I think you can now be described as 'trusted experts'.
No definitely not, the most frustrating experience onboard. Very slow and has been on and off during the cruise. It can be enough for simple text messages and the odd image but that’s about it!
Hi sorry for the delay! The southern Spanish ports were around 23 degrees Celsius. Vigo and La Rochelle were a bit cooler around 18 C. However when the sun was out it was glorious!

We have the same booked in April 2023. Can you advise what the temperature range has been at the various ports?
