Simple solution: Don't answer work calls outside of work hours, unless you are being paid to be on-call. If they can't reach you, they can't spoil your personal time, and can't make you work for free. If they try to bully you into being available during personal time, insist that they put in writing how much they will pay you for being on-call, plus a minimum number of on-call hours to be paid for.
That's exactly correct. I just sold my company, but I fired many "Veronicas" who chose to nickel and dime me to death. The "Veronicas" never realized that the year-end bonus more than made up for any "free overtime." We were paid at the end of the year on most accounts, but could not afford OT during the year. "Veronica" ended up with no job when she would have ended up with way more than her paltry OT. That's something else, eh?
@@elmoblatch9787So you were fine nickel and dimeing them with a little time here and there. And if your company couldn't manage the finances and just did the oh let's see if we have anything left at the end of the year to divey up,guess what it's ILLEGAL. You know having people work without pay. Glad you sold, maybe someone else can treat people fairly.
@@elmoblatch9787Oh the non guaranteed year end bonus, that is completely up to your discretion 🙄 You run a business to make money, they work to make money. If you don't want to pay, they are better off working somewhere else.

When she said your generation is something else I would go to HR about an age discriminatory comment
Or hate speech when :)
Well of course you would, juju. It’s people like you that create the stigma you have so richly earned.
I totally agree with Veronica, but you know her boss would get revenge. And the boss would be careful to make sure it couldn’t be called retaliation.
That's why you should always have more then one source of income.
Just say it. You want people to work for free.
Which is ironic because this very channel is profiting off of someone else’s audio
Ong i need this energy
Please credit original audio
Inspiring
Who actually developed this content originally? There are remakes of it by different UA-camrs all over the place.
I dunno, but so many of them are low effort
I believe @customerserviceacademy is the original creator
Fuck yea.
Would it be paid but cost her the job?

@@elmoblatch9787Then you’re part of the problem and not the solution. Thanks for proving her point exactly.
@@elmoblatch9787I don't know about your country but in mine the bonus is something you have to pay, like overtime hours
"I'll be something else"
Yeah.. unemployed.
Hey, I think you forgot to give credit for the audio. You did ask @customerserviceacademy for permission, right?
