Gru went from being alone to having a family
He went from being a weird kid to a happy go lucky dad his life has become better and better I'm so happy for him!😢❤
Imagine his childhood classmates or childhood crush seeing him having his own family and they thought he would be a sore loser in his whole life but he changed and they would regret this!😂😡
He is bald and no woman what to be with him but Lucy!❤
Gru's Mom wasn't a carefully mom in his past but in the present she is now carefully mom, is proud of her son for his career, having a family on his own and is finally a grandma!❤
We know that Gru's dad recently passed away in Despicable Me 3 but if his dad is still alive he would meet his grandson Gru Jr!😢❤

Gru has to at least kept a few of the original minions like Kevin, Dave, Stuart, Bob, Mel, Otto, since those, among others, were the ones closest to him!
I was also thinking the same for those minions you mentioned. Another minion I hope also stays with Gru is Jerry since he was one of the originals in the first film and he and Dave were the only two who didn't leave Gru. Mel definitely went with Dru at the end of DM3 as can be seen in Gru's ship we saw a one eyed minion wearing the same hat that Mel did with I ❤ Gru being replaced with I ❤ Dru.

Universal & Illuminations has done it again. As much as I'm a Disney Fan I will ALWAYS make time for Gru & His Minions. Whoever came up with this storyline & franchise desveres some credit.

Gru wasn't his first name, it's his last name. His first name is Felonius. And I was hoping Thelonius for his son's name.
Well his full name is likely Felonius Gru Jr and they just call him Gru Jr

Also I thought “Gru” was his last name because his full name is “Felonious Gru”
The Girls he adopted usually call him Mr. Gru and in Gru's Family Tree they have the last name Gru including his parents, Grandparents and Ancestors!
That means his real name is Felonious and his last name is Gru!

I just can’t unsee the similarities that La Mal has to Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb, but aside from that I think this movie looks awesome and I can’t wait to see it
I was just going to say, if they HAVE to do yet another Dispicable Me movie, WHY NOT make Gru a father to a baby.....without his Minions. I'm sure the girls will be devoted sisters and Lucy will be a great Mom. Maybe THIS is what compels him to go find his brother and get the Minions back....he is having a baby.

I was really hopeing that for Despicable Me 4 Vector, El Macho, and Balthazar Bratt were gonna come back and team up to take their revenge on Gru by kidnapping him and Lucy forcing Margo, Edith, Agnes, The Minions, Dr Nefario, Dru, and even Gru's mom to rescue them. (and maybe even Scarlett Overkill and Belle Bottom were gonna come back too).
Maybe not Balthazar Bratt because his already Gru's villian in the 3.
Vector being recognized is a good sign for the fifth movie.

@@gerardorodriguez7500i think what he’s trying to say is that, it’s just a trailer, maybe when a new DM4 trailer releases, Dru and Dr Nefario, will probably be in it.
I always liked how in the first three movies, Gru being a bad guy, reversed the order he gained his familial relationships.
In the first movie he gets Children
In the second he gets a Wife
And in the third he gets a brother and finds out about his dad.
And even in the following Minions movie they show him getting a father figure in Wild Knuckles.
At first I didn't know how they would continue this story trend in a fourth movie. But now, him having a new son with Lucy and potentially a side kick. I think they might be having him do the relationships again in the right order. Showing how he is fully good now.
I’m going to have to rewatch all the other Despicable Me movies before I watch this new one. That way I’m all caught up on the storyline.

I don’t think they caught Drew, but I think Drew did have a secret child, a daughter (Poppy), who you see in the trailer that looks like Drew and Gru.
Only Gru may not know who she is.
Gru jr is Gru and Lucy’s biological son and looks like he has inherited both of his parent’s traits and could be more of a hero or a villain.
Maybe the villains in this movie are related to Ramsbottom or that villain from the first film?
I'd be surprised if Lucy and Gru Jr are added in The Gru Family Tree!

It could be possible that Valerie De Vinchi was fired from her role as director of the AVL due to her cruel treatment and discharging of Gru and Lucy, because let’s be honest, she is a jerk, even though Balthazar Bratt got away again, Gru at least got the World’s Largest Diamond, she should have at least congratulated them for that, the AVL did Gru and Lucy dirty in that movie, at least Ramsbottom was understanding…

Here is my updated theory as to why Silas Ramsbottom is still at the AVL; After Gru & Lucy were able to retrieve the Diamond, Valerie Da Vinci was absolutely impressed with them that she decided to take a holiday, and Silas Ramsbottom was contacted to fill in for her.
As a Despicable Me fan, I'm definitely excited for the next one! Here is my theories.
• The Opening of Despicable Me 4 will open with Dru being defeated by Gru.
• Silas Ramsbottom is helping out at the AVL because they're short staffed.
• Le Mal wil be defeated by returning to Prison.

You are excellent at following plots/stories, Isaac! I've been watching your work for many years! Your enthusiasm is contagious and delightful! Being that we are dealing with SUPER-VILLAINS, consider the possibility that the new villain after Gru is actually "Wild Knuckles" and not a relative of his. Consider further the possibility that Lucy is the one turning and going to the dark side and that Wild Knuckles has returned to help Gru fake his own death (as he said he's looking forward to at Wild Knuckles' funeral). And that Lucy, Gru and the girls/boy will join up with Dru and the other minions. What could make Lucy turn to EVIL? Well, she MARRIED INTO THE MOB!!!!
Gru's own son not loving him would either be respresented by further character developments, or fun skits of his son fucking up his missions, or both.

I think the part when gru breaks into what looks like a Singing thing or something might be a flashback of him capturing the main villain, But he broke out and wants to take out gru for being the one to capture him (btw I think rams might be the villain in disguise) I’d love it if you would read this comment and reply.

The villain being voice by Will Ferrell as I notice makes It looks like Megamind is getting revenge on Gru since his first movie outperformed at the box office and while Megamind’s film even it wasn’t a failure but it didn’t gross as much money Despicable Me 1 grossed $543.6 million while Megamind on the other hand grossed $321.9 million but it’s still not a failure Despicable Me 1 was a bigger hit than Megamind which both films were released in 2010 so that makes sense

While the movie looks promising, I’m still wondering what will happen with Dru, Dr. Nefario and the large quantity of Minions. It would feel weird to not have a large number of minions, and Nefario’s absence would feel a bit bizarre.
In my opinion about the villain; I'd honestly rather prefer Dru.
My reason's are mostly due to could be better than thinking of a new concept, because if you use Dru, you're able to save your further ideas for more movies. As well as to not leave on a cliff hanger.
But, of course, Illumination will be Illumination.
Maybe try and Lucy asked for there old boss back and so did maybe others and that’s why ramsbottom is the boss again because it makes sense they only loss there jobs after the devinchi chick came into being the boss soo it seems natural for her to be fired even tho she probably wanted them back after they succeeded or maybe she fired to many people for stupid crap and got fired and replaced with ramsbottom
