Yeah, same here. Stick to chinos, Oxford shirts , white and black sneakers, sweatshirts and actually an overcoat or down jacket. Prefer navy blue over black for my regular wear, for the weekends though a black jeans with a grey sweater is alright. Socks black grey and blue. Thankfully the principles and item count are universal regardless of career or personal style choices.

All you need is a simple western style leather suit with fringe on the front , the back and on the bottom of the sleeves . Preferably with a big firebird on the back in gold like on the hood of a trans am . I have one and I can wear that anywhere .

Denim can be part of minimalist wardrobe, I would go for dark denim before washed. Wear it and let it fade and it's a great look with a black T-shirt and some tasteful accessories like a watch or chain
