Solid choices Harry! I would maybe swap the North Face for a black leather bomber or Harrington jacket. When it rains, I usualy just use a small umbrella.
Great choices all round imo. Staples but make it just right y'know? Hoodies are a critical part of the wardrobe for me personally. Particularly good quality ones, they exist very much in the "get what you pay for" bracket I've found. So if you catch Sunspel or Represent or Acne having a sale, grab a hoodie, it'll be a good investment! Lol. I've been meaning to check out those Viron boots for ages, based entirely on the fact I really like the look of the chunky sole, plus I'd be curious to see how they do in wet/cold weather because of the materials.
You need a coat--as you're not seasonally covered. I think that an umbrella can come in instead of a raincoat, as there are multiple ways of protecting yourself against the elements, but when late November kicks in...you'd regret your decision, as a raincoat is basically a flis paper, and a denim jacket is a cropped interpretation of an overshirt, which tries to pass itself as a jacket. Aesthetically pleasing? Yes! Versatile!? Yes! ° functional? Well... The other thing I'd do If I were you is swapping a pair of pants for a pair of joggers. You don't have any gym pants, or lounge pants for that matter. I'd probably swap the black jeans for a pair of gray joggers. The problem I have with black jeans is the fact that they're a basic pair of trousers (the same as wool trousers), but they're not as versatile due to their contextual essence. It is fairly easy to illustrate my point. Let's say you have a pair of black dress pants. You can dress them up...just as easily as you can dress them down. You can wear those with dress shoes, just as you can rest them with sneakers, sandals, or slippers. That's because black pair of dress trousers are so basic that they do not have any connotations to them, so instead of dictating the context of the outfit, those instead can adapt to the context in which you decide to sport them. For instance, you can wear a pair of black slack with a hoodie, and you'd get the same vibe as you'd achieve if you'd sport a black hoodie with a pair of jeans. However, you don't get the same vibe when you decide to pair a dress shirt with a pair of jeans, and when you divide to sport a pair of wool trousers with the same outfit. That's because jeans are inherently causal, so they kinda dictate the context of an outfit, which dresses down the more formal look, which again isn't something you wanna do, as you'd feel the to dress up occasionally. Also, the pair of black jeans are dyed up all the way, so they don't have any interesting contrast (like indigo does), although I like darker gray pairs too... even though I'd ditch those in favor of pants I need (joggers), which means I'd probably also ditch the pleated trousers for a more basic pair. It's not that I like those (they're kinda interesting), but stripes are the luxury an extreme minimalist cannot afford. P.S. This is just my opinion...for which you asked...so no hard feelings...?
At 48 years old I do without a Hoodie in my wardrobe. Have for quite sometime. The only sweatshirt I currently have and feel I need is the freenote cloth deck sweatshirt in green . It’s such a timeless and smart fitting piece! In fact I’m such a fan of freenote cloth over the last 2 years I made my whole wardrobe freenote cloth
Hoodies are my go-to... black or gray. If I may be so bold, you look far better in black than white. I don't care for the North Face jacket. I like the idea of the grey kicks.
I am really happy that you gave some advice on where a t-shirt/hoodie should end. I've always noticed when something didn't fit me well but never realized that it's the LENGTH making me hate an item. I was focusing on the width, tightness, length of sleeves but never really length. (Unless it was literally a dress. Thank god the fishtail trend died).
How do you wash your issey's ? Just picked up a pair after consuming your content, im in love them with them but theres so much different info regarding caring for them.
I just wash them on a 30 degree wash and that’s it. Nothing special. People seem to freak out about them but I’ve worn them to death and they still look brand new
Wondering..why I got interested in this video.😊 I had perhaps presumed that only girl influencers make this category of videos...capsule wardrobe. Realised....Men are conscious too 😊
Yo hey good morning. Thank you too. Yeah hoodys an essential definitely. Btw I’m in the northern states tho. But really I wanted to say, hey try a pair of white bottoms. I started w it couple years ago and it’s fun. You get used to the color of it but the white builds character over time and gets dirty in a good way. It’s cool tho, now I’m always wearing white pants and scruffing em up. The subtle marks make it kinda cool on them. Peace tho good people, Emma out!
I always come back to Common Projects Achilles for some reason. They last a long time, they get better looking with age, extremely versatile yet handsome. Sure there are better bargains or better constructed white lux sneakers now, but for some reason there’s nothing better than the Achilles that I’ve found. I’ve currently got the all white lows and gray suede lows. Probably going to pick up a new white pair next Christmas.
I love that you used what you already own and enjoy wearing. I was surprised you didn't pick your 501 '93's over the black Acne jeans, but they look great.
Agradezco que tus videos esten subtitulados a cualquier idioma, esta información vale millones y son pocos quienes hablan de esto aquí en Latinoamérica, buen video hermano ❤
I am new to fashion as a 40+ man wanting to look good once again;) I am glad i've found your channel amoung some others. I like your syle, mine is more contemporary as i work in the office, but i like to add some bits of your style i my evereday outfits:)
1:43 yo Harry, I'm still looking for a T that fits like that one but my problem are my proportions. My chest gains are over the top compared to the rest. I got like a 107cm chest (which is L for lets say the mentioned one from Arket and also Weekday) at 180cm and 77kg but only like 82cm waist (S), so I've got to wear at least M in lets say the Weekday relaxed T, which already is way too long and too wide at the waist. It is even to wide at the waist for a tucked in style. What can i do?
Thanks to you mate I can now sleep. I really wasn’t sure about what to buy and right now I am in a tough spot, but thanks to your video I finally made my mind. Again, thank you so much!
Think I prefer a cardigan to a hoodie. I own a couple of hoodies but rarely wear them. I'd also exchange joggers for jeans, I also seldom wear jeans. Linen trouser instead of shorts and probably switch one of the t shirts for a polo. My personal preferences. 12 pieces is a tiny wardrobe! I could definitely do with thinning my collection down a lot though 😂
Love the picks Harry, defintely adding a few of them to my next basket/order On the rain jacket would you consider a longer rain jacket? Perhaps the 'Stockholm Long' from Stutterheim. I'm in love with their outerwear atm Really enjoying the content, thanks
Great tips. I love the A&F linen shorts. However in no world I can justify the cost of the sneakers, quality-wise and design-wise (they are pretty though).
Love the capsule wardrobe ideas :) I would have swapped the shorts for maybe another pair of pants in maybe a baggie or grey color. Have you considered a twist on the capsule wardrobe formula like one brand capsule wardrobe? For example a Uniqlo capsule wardrobe? Or maybe one pallet capsule wardrobe? I always find that kind of constraints are interesting because it forces you to look at your closet differently
Do you think anyone has actually created and used a capsule wardrobe as intended? I.e. they come back to it 45 years later and are like yep, still want to wear all of these...
HARRY! love your vids as always! They always give me such great inspiration. Are those plisse pants tapered or a straight leg fit? Sometimes the plisse pants are a bit too tapered for me but those look amazing on u!
I love denim jackets or shirt jackets for their looks in general, but the only problem I have with them is them not having side pockets most of the time. The chest pockets are basically for looks (and unbuttoning them each and everytime would be a chore), so I can't put my phone or wallet inside. Putting things inside the pockets of my pants looks kinda bumpy too. Wearing a crossbody bag over a jacket feels too extra in fall/winter for me. I just wish brands would create deep side pockets for their shackets, for the sake of functionality 😭
Honestly what keeps me coming back to harry is the fact that he does not wear crazy wide pants. I know this might be in fashion but I just feel uncomfortable in them. Straight pants are as relaxed as I want and harry usually wears these.
A great selection of wardrobe, i dress almost the same way. What do you think about the light blue denim jacket + black jeans, is it not dated?
regarding the trousers.. how stretchy is waist? I'm a 34 but if I were a 36 would it fit? And.. does a 3 work? does it matter ? Also .. are yours pull on or button?
Great video as always mate. I wanna buy a new pair of sneakers. Currently debating either nike blazer mid or vans triple white old skool. Got any preference or maybe other suggestions mate?

I swear Harry always makes me question my own wardrobe 😂
That’s advertisement for you
This is GREAT! I love Tim Desaint and Daniel Simmons, but over the past year or so their styles have gotten a little too avant-garde for me.
same here
This capsule is pretty much perfect. You have a variety of colour, textures and fits. Loving the magician-core look!!
Haha thank you very much mate. It’s a winning style for sure 😂
Good to see the Common Projects come back into your wardrobe after months of being absent
Years of being absent really. Loving wearing them again
Nicely done. As a challenge you should do a companion video for a capsule wardrobe that isn't monochromatic
Really like all your choices-all very versatile.Really liking the more relaxed hair style too!
Thanks a lot bro
Solid choices Harry!

Good idea for sure
9:02 Best look imo - and yes I think a hoodie is an essential for sure
Thanks for watching bro
This video made me purchase two of the plain arket tees. Hope they’re worth it. Like a relaxed fit without it being too oversized
How did it go? Just bought the white and dark grey ones
Thank you for putting us on to Viron. I got a pair after a video you mentioned them in last year.
Glad you like them mate

I always struggle to choose the right size for clothes, and yours seem perfectly fit, please make a video recommend how to choose which one is right
Hoodies are a must for me. Also,I knew you’d choose the common projects. 😝. They do look clean and versatile.

If I had to pick only one pair of shorts I'd probably go for something you can multi purpose for a light swim or workout. Maybe a black nylon pair!
