I seen Mighty Joe Young before they became known as STP and before they were signed. I was a Jane's Addiction and Bad Brains fan at the time and when I seen them they were a combination of both, so I was hoping and praying that they would blow up and take the world by storm and guess what they did. the thing is they have a lot of material like this they did not release andaz pool that Jake recognizes it.

If y'all will pause on each chord and go to the fret he's on it's pretty easy to figure out . You just gotta find the sound. I may do a tutorial on this . Still learning from this video. Thanks so much for this video .

You're amazing at transcribing songs - especially STP; Dean Deleo's guitar work is way more complicated than people think, judging by most TABs I've seen. How do you do it? Just picking it out by ear, or with the help of others' tabs? Or...? Please enlighten me/us! And thanks again!!
Hey Joe, I've been playing for a while too now and I've learned the best way to learn something is to do it the old fashioned way: by ear lol. I'll use equalizers to hear certain chords if i'm having trouble with a song. Other than that, it's just by ear.
Is there any sheet music or tabs on this, ive been trying to ground this but the jazzy chords are just so hazy to pick out by ear, i could paypal or venmo for some tabs to this! 🤘
If memory serves, that was a Soldano Avenger 50 watt amp with the gain around a 9 and the chorus sound was a Rocktron Intellifex set on a custom multi-voice chorus.

The riff is a little different from Piece of Pie's but I think they used it to make that chorus.

Haven't got it yet. I didn't see too much on it I didn't already have. The remixes sound a bit better though.
