Thank you! I'm 28 and have cried over this so many times for so many years because I couldn't release the applicator. My flow's really heavy and pads are never enough. I've bled through at work multiple times. I had no one to teach me. I had to watch this video more than once but I finally got it. Thank you so much 🥺
This video is awesome. It is so maturely explained and I like that the young lady was a college student, I always felt like the odd one out being that old and not knowing about Tampons. Awesome video and the doctor was very helpful in her explanation.
I did it!!!!!! It’s much more comfortable than I thought. For the first timer, I was afraid as well. But you can do it absolutely!! Congratulations to everyone 🎉
39 and need to know, my mom never allowed me to. She always told me they would cause cancer. My period is very heavy since I got off of my IUD. I work a Physical job, hard labor eight hours. Thank you for teaching this. I definitely didn’t know how to do it. ty
38 and just tried it for the very first time. I had to throw 2 out because the whole thing came out again but I got it after the 3rd try. I feel better knowing I am not alone not knowing at this age
I FINALLY GOT IT IN!! I was really scared but once you get the right angle it slides right in. The size i used was qay to big though and was incredibly painful to remove but this was very useful ive been trying to use them for years.
I did it!!! But I think that it’s not completely in cause I feel it. Like it doesn’t hurt but is it normal for the first time to still feel it in there?
@@vanessatran3014 yeah, im not even gonna sugar coat it, it is gonna hurt when you pull it out, but dont treat it like a bandaid, just pull it fast but not so fast that you injure yourself. It only lasts 5 seconds, but if it hurts an extended time after the fact, theres something wrong.
Im a OBGYN and even i use pads especially now pads are thin and compact and u can use two or three at a time.ive only used tampons grand total thre times.
Is it normal that I can’t put it in because I did with the video said it’s just that it’s not going into the opening and I’m using the smallest one I have
There are many books on the topic of "Human Sexuality". I took a class in College back in the day. The book also explained what STDs are and other important info.
Did it feel ok? I’m tired of the uncomfortable of my pads so I really wanna try tampons. My biggest fears is that it’ll get stuck and that it’s gonna hurt a lot.
@@_ellivia hihi! stumbled across this comment personally it's still the first times I've put in tampons and I feel like the trickiest part is getting the angle right, but it's becoming easier and faster with practice :] just take your time and remember to relax!! and use the right size for your period flow so it doesnt hurt 🫶
I did it today! Nigeria, Christmas Day, 2024. I’m 27 and have been scared because of stories I’ve heard. If you’re considering this (especially my Nigerian women), just do it. It’s fine, I promise❤️.
Umm I kept on bleeding through my pads and I used my moms tampons and it feels kinda weird but I’m not bleeding through any more. How often do I need to change it??
Am I really the only one who could not for the life of me get it in? My flow was really light and I was trying to practice before going out of town and it hurt so bad and I couldn’t get it all the way in I had to stop
Hey its totally normal believe me I had to try it like 10 times because just like you it couldn't get in but I finally managed to do it so don't give up
@@scemolivvyI got lightheaded the first times. I didn’t know that was a thing. Thought I was just tired. Why do we get dizzy/light headed? The sight of the blood?
I tried it once and it got in but it hurt SO BAD. when I took it out it actually hurt the worst and it hurt for like 30 minutes after i took it out. Can anyone help me and tell me if i did something wrong?? maybe i put it in the wrong position or smth idk
I’m 25 and wore one for the first time in my life and did it wrong and I wasn’t bleeding enough because I was dry. I had to carefully pull it out and it only hurt a little. I get bad anxiety a lot so I’m afraid to try it again even though I’m bleeding more now. The only ones I have are the bigger size now too and I’m very tight and I think it’s due to something like vaginismus. I’ll try it again, but I can’t say I’ll do it right lol
I really wish applicators where normalised in my country but I can't buy ones with them anywhere so I have to buy online and get them from overseas. It's so unfair
im scared to try, im doing it behind my mom’s back bc i dont know how shell react and ive heard that it doesnt leak much and its comfortable and doesn’t feel like its there. i hope it does 😭
Guys I’m scared about to try also THE WHOLE APPLICATION THING GOES IN ME edit:she’s in there but am I supposed to feel it like is it not far enough up edit2:I pushed it further and I think she works I’ll check in the morning

As stated, the absolute KEY is relaxing your legs and lower body COMPLETELY. DO NOT HAVE ANY TENSION IN YOUR LEGS.
i got it on my first try tysm!!😊
Thanks I know what I've been doing wrong . I'm putting it in before I have the applicator in the right place .
Thank you for this video I just started using tampons and this was the first video I saw and it’s great! 👍🏻
