I believe we’ve all left our mark in some way or another. Unfortunately we will never really know how much of a mark we’ve left. It’s the folks we leave behind that determine just what we’ve meant to them. Think about how often you think of folks that have passed…. I can only hope I’ve left a mark on the people that really are important to me, and if so, then I’ve done something right! You sir have touched a LOT of folks, and you have a lot of years to left to touch many more!!!

2022 HD Ultra Apex for trips/ rallies. 2007 KLR650 daily commuter / grocery getter / 2-wheel pick up. 2018 KTM690 desert racing bike. Took all my life to work up to this nice of bikes. Retiring in 96 days to Mountain Home Arkansas. Get what you can afford in cash and in time, a lot of hard work and sacrifice. Like hitting reset on a computer, just taking a day trip on a bike is the best type of therapy.
If I was to do it over again starting today the first bike would be a Royal Himalayan. Inexpensive, versatile, simple to operate and work on and darn near indestructible.

Been lovin this upper 50's and 60° weather up here in the tri-state, and also have been gettin some early February wind and sun therapy. I do keep an eye on the rain to make sure most of the salt is washed off though. I started walking Jan 1st in preparation for the '24 riding riding season, and am up to 8 + miles a day. Came in handy Thursday and Friday, as I rode almost 150 miles, and suffered very little from it.
AND, about that MORTALITY issue . . . Lord willing, I'm planning (and walking the plan) now to stay fit to ride at least to a hundred (70 now)! I've worked TOO hard for TOO long (in the foundry business) to shrivel up and not get to (FINALLY) ride where I want and as long as I want. The wife had a few issues with health (triple by-pass) in '23, but she's coming back around weekly and started her own walking program as well. Our 50th happens this July and I asked her, just this afternoon, if she could picture us riding our trike on the PCH as part of our celebration tour! She hasn't answered, OR said "no" yet, so I'm still hopeful, lol!
BTW my friend, you've already made a HUGE impact on my life, and somehow think you haven't yet finished your legacy! MANY THANX for all the inspiration and vids!

I ride a little vespa knock off and I enjoy all talks of riding. I can't use my right foot to shift so it's a physical reason I ride a step through. It's accessible. It's still free. It's still on 2 wheels. It's cool to be informed and when I see and admire the big bikes in the wild, I truly appreciate them. I get the 2 fingers from almost every Harley rider and of course all the biker groups. I'll be surrounded at the light cuz we can filter here and most people are really cool about it, and just rumbling everywhere, but they're all taking pics of my red scooter and asking tons of questions. 😂 She gets tons of attention and nobody has ever, to me face at least, dissed her. 💚 Not liking someone for what they ride is the dumbest thing ever. Edit to say she is all cherry red and chrome with the box and big hips and everything, so she's pretty flashy.
