Ah, it looks like they may have turned off the horrendously catastrophic friendly fire for flamethrower units. Either that or Kane read the casualty reports, putting his eyebrows in danger of interfering with the ceiling fan, and he finally dished out the funds for some flame-retardant suits.
Even in original flamethrowers were kinda jank about that, sometimes they'll like this, most of the time they light themselves on fire and all explode. I gotta think it's tied to angles and positions
There's a reason why flamethrower infantry should never be used in more than squads of 2. They can all suddenly explode just because one of them stood right in front of another when the latter opened fire.
@@TheCNCChannel Nah, there's no easy way to change things like that for single missions. You basically just got lucky and mostly attacked targets from one cell away.
I've been busy climbing the Ladder so I'm uploading stuff I did some time ago. I'll try to get back to the campaign missions as quick as I can.

I think they did remove it for this mission though, did a few runs and they never spread like wildfire
