I literally only finished the 1st mission this morning...took me 98 mins from the stats at the end of the mission....and I loved every second of this mission...sniper elite 5 is amazing.
Its sinper elite, they have perfected it. And people still underestimate it, because "they just took the sniper level and turned it into an entire game"
This game looks Awesome! Never played it, as I thought 'A game based on a sniper?, how stupid!' I've changed my mind after watching this video and talking with a friend just last night. He couldn't stop raving about it. I'll be getting this very soon, for sure. Thanks for the great video! Instant sub!

Honestly my only upset with the game is I wish they would have made better AI, the series always kinda had stupid AI though. So far though loving the game, kinda buggy but it is a new release and runs much smoother than a lot of new release games these days
Fair enough. Also, fun fact, AI is the hardest thing to program for in game Development. It also seems to be the most weakest in most games. I would argue that AI in older generation games was far better. Games such as F.E.A.R, Condemned and Halo Conbat Evolved still have better AI than modern titles to this day imo.
I loved this game i played through all the dlc and main campaign and played a lot of invasion aswell. But this game runs very well and the game itself looks stunning I played it on pc on max settings and had 50-70 fps consistently. the game is challenging and playing the game very stealthy like I did and making it a goal to go unseen or seen as little as possible. It Was very rewarding completing and knowing I was a dominant force and my position was always changing and the AI never really shot at me. I’m currently doing my 2nd playthrough on authentic difficulty and I’m loving the challenge. As my first playthrough was on “sniper elite” difficulty! in conclusion this game is excellent Love from Sweden
So I can grab a weapon when it is on the floor. But when I change my weapon he automatically drops the one I just collected. Is it not possible to drop my primary weapon and take the one I just found on the floor permanent like in Sniper Elite 4?
@@glhrvy you can still do that it’s just manual in 5 if you know the ins and outs of the game 5 is far better and way more diverse with way not customization and approaches to each mission

I've been more of a fan of the spin off Zombie Army series especially Zombie Army 4 but man this game looks fantastic & I'm thinking about getting this game thanks to your review & a playthrough I been watching... The sniper kills are so dope.. I feel like I should play sniper elite 4 atleast though.
I do not believe so. I am not 100% sure though I'll have to double check for you. Unfortunately, I am out of town and won't be able too till Saturday this week :/
First game I stopped myself from buying even though I wanted to but it's on gamepass. I'll wait for ultimate edition hopefully on disc with all dlc then buy it prob be out in a year.

@@Games.Gadgets.Sports What are your thoughts on the game so far? So far I'm only on mission 2 but I can't tell if I like this or 4 more. I also feel that the graphics in 4 was a little more smooth but this one has a little more attention to detail. It seems like they're pushing the engine a little bit more than what it's capable of, it could use a few more patches, it already has one rather large one. I do notice the AI seems to be a little better, I think the enemies work better in teams to pin you down and surround you. Also not a very big fan of the first person mode while aiming, it's a nice feature but looks a little odd to me. It could end up surpassing 4 but at the moment I just can't tell.

I don't care for invasion mode alrdy only cuz other games have tried that and im a single player mostly kinda guy and hate all my hard work getting screwed up by someone else. Very detailed full of color and crisp! Yes little stuff like bubbles from the submarine weren't ultra realistic but everything that matters looks great!! Even fires going and the atmospheric sound is incredible. I actually really like the switch to aiming down the sights on the guns makes u feel more immersed. I'm like usual taking my time and enjoying every bit of the map. Love this game so far and don't see that changing. I love me a gd stealth sniper game.

On a laptop with 3080 it looks phenomenal and runs flawlessly maxed out. It looks significantly better than any of the console gameplay and definitely a big visual upgrade from Sniper Elite 4. Particles and effects are particularly delightful 🤤
Sniper Elite games are just jun. They aren't Next Gen triple A titles. Games don't need to be. They just need to grab your attention and hold it without you getting raging mad at it.
Honestly the controls are terrible , clunky at and No one mentions they got rid of the over the shoulder aiming when halfway holding down LT , game took a big step back imo
How are they terrible? You still have over the shoulder aiming and first person option....movement is good....I think ur nitpicking. Been playing the game and it plays as gd as others if not better

The DLC will not be one the disk, they only did that with V2 and 3 because it was carried over from the PS3. There will only be session pass 1 and 2.
