Everytime I listen to this song I explode into tears, even though this is just a warning. A warning for any young couple for what time, fatigue and routine can do to a long lasting relationship. To love someone is so cute and lovely at the beginning, with the butterflies in the stomach and stuff. But to keep the love and the spark alive over the years is such a heavy task to accomplish between the partners. But the final verse, the one that makes my eyes become waterfalls, is that you can do it. You can make your relationship a good life and a good experience for both of you.

I would of had to agree with you on the first listen, but as I listen more and more, I think its grew on me. Still not a favourite, but quite a nice song
I think I read Skinty was originally going to be a double album. One half of their normal style, and one half of traditional Irish music (or their version of it) and this is the only track that made the cut from the traditional album.
