I just discovered Fontaines three weeks ago, haven't stop listening to them since. Seeing them tonight in Tucson. They too got me out of a sad dark hole.
I’m 61 and just heard this song this morning on my way home from work and I love it!!! I’ll be sharing this with my 17 year old granddaughter
53 hear and instantly texted my best friend to check this out right away.
They’re just so good. Every time I listen I feel like I’m back in 1989 listening to quality indie and alt bands. There’s something so nostalgic about their sound, so moody but so fresh at the same time. Skinty Fia is a masterpiece.

Born in 74, raised in the 80s and rocked hard in the early 90's. Super fussy when it comes to quality sounds and originality. This band is "by far" the best thing to come out of Ireland in a very looong time "rock wise" Super impressed, well done lads! Some absolute bangers, that sound takes me back to those simpler times. It's a TELEVISED MIND!

I recently took my first trip to Europe and I was so excited about it, and I can remember myself listening this song in my earbuds while I was in a train heading to Amsterdam. I've never felt so alive.
That was me listening to MGMT in 2008. Nothing like rock and roll and overnight trains in Europe.

Познакомился с данной группой только в этом году, но насколько же ребята хороши. Я когда впервые их услышал, подумал, что это смесь ранних The Smiths и Joy Division. Фронтмен вылитый Йен Кертис, по своей харизме он крут. Да и вообще, все музыканты большие молодцы, органично вместе смотрятся. Видно, что они все хорошие друзья, а не просто собранные музыканты. Skinty fia очень хороший альбом, и эта песня одна из моих любимых в альбоме. Это по-настоящему великий альбом, который останется на века. PS: ну и не мог не отметить Ирландский дух в песнях, это завораживает. Респект парням!

Fucking love this band. I can’t think of many ppl who are as cool as grian chatten atm. They just keep getting better. The guitar playing on this track in particular is epic as well.
