This game is very special to me so thank you for being a part of this journey - it means a lot! I also just wanted to say that at the time of this recording Ukraine hadn't been invaded yet. The world is a very scary place right now and I hope, wherever you are, you and your family are safe! I cannot begin to fathom the fear, anger and despair you must be feeling. I'm sorry your choice and freedom were taken away from you. I stand with anyone who didn't choose and doesn't want this war... You'll be in my thoughts and prayers ❤️
Hey girl, I have friends who are from Ukraine, they live here in the US but still have family and friends that live there. It breaks my heart what's taking place...I pray for that country. 🙏 but also wanted to say I enjoy your videos. I'll be looking forward to watching more vids you put out. 🙂
Yea I have no words for what's happening right now... no one expected this war to last this long. I am praying for everyone's safety. There have always been so many Eastern European immigrants in Portugal, so I have a lot of Ukrainian and Russian childhood friends. I also have a couple of friends who live in Kyiv right now and they've refused to leave their home despite the constant threat. They've been sleeping in bunkers - I can't possibly imagine how they're feeling. "If Russia stops fighting there will be no more war. If Ukrainians stop fighting there will be no more Ukraine" Anyway, I'll be praying for your friends and their families as well! Thank you for watching the video and I hope it brought you a little joy ❤️
@@DudettePlayz I really hate that this is happening...we just have to trust God. But yes I enjoy your videos. Is final fantasy your favorite series? I'm playing ff7 remake for the 100th time..lol! I have over 450hrs of gameplay..yes im a little obsessed. Lol
Haha I can relate for sure! I almost exclusively played Final Fantasy growing up and clearly the obsession hasn't ended. It makes me feel better to know that I am not alone 😅
@@DudettePlayz you are so not alone! Haha! I think they're suppose to reveal some info on ff7 part 2 this year. ..im so ready! When part 1 came out I took 3 days off from work to play it. 🤫 shhhh...don't tell my job. 😅
Saw my dad crying when he played this on the ps2. I was like 7 or 8, didn't understand why he was crying playing a game. Now I'm 26 and I think I know why he was crying.
When you know that none of this would have been possible without Kimahri honoring a dying man's wishes and taking Yuna to Besaid, it makes that chest tap Auron gives him before departing that much more meaningful.
Correct... If Kimahri hadn't found Auron at the foot of Mt Gagazet and taken Yuna from Bevelle to Besaid, she never would've met Wakka and Lulu. In a way, Kimahri was the catalyst that started the entire game.
some fact that ronso tribe would be honour to make yuna statue in mt gagazet, just like other summoner who complete the pilgrimage and defeat sin, the ronso tribe said they would add the horn to yuna statue because the horn in ronso tribe is a a honour thing, it's remind me of the old classic summoner class that had a horn in them.
I love watching other people being passionate about this story, so this was great. I can't help but cry every time I hear those piano notes at 1:23:24 , no matter how many times I experience this ending. This game was truly a gift for all of us and I'm so happy we got to experience it.
I couldn't agree more! I've always felt very alone in my love for Final Fantasy, so the best thing that has come from uploading these videos was finding a community of people who treasure this story and these characters as much as I do ❤️
As a kid/ teen I never did care much about the ending. But then as an adult that's dealt with heartbreak in several relationships. I cry watching this.
'Every blitzer knows: When you've got the ball, you gotta score!" This is my favorite line in the game. I first played this game when I was 12 shortly after it came out. You cannot imagine how hyped I was at that moment. So cool. A lot of people actually say that this game has bad voice acting, but tbh I've always thought it was generally pretty good, and I loved Tidus' voice actor (James Arnold Taylor). This is my favorite Final Fantasy game to this day. I had already played 7,8,9, and some of Tactics before this one, but this one made a special place for me. The pacing, the story, the characters, the world setting, I love all of it (and I hate FFX-2 with an equal passion specifically because it retcons and ignores many facts established in this game which I am not ok with, but I won't spoil any specifics). The ending is what made the game truly great for me. It's so good. I can't get enough of watching people react to this game. (personal favorite playthrough is NyanCave because Tom really GETS it more than others I've watched)
I can relate to everything you just said: FFX was the first game I ever played so the story and characters wills always hold a very special place in my heart. Yuna was my childhood hero! And, personally, I've never thought the game had bad voice acting... people need to remember that this was the first Final Fantasy to have it so it's only natural that it wasn't perfect. Anyone who uses the Tidus laughing scene as an example, clearly didn't pay attention to the story. I love that during that scene, the VA's were actually capable of showcasing the transition from "fake" laughing into genuine laughing. I also don't think Tidus thought it would work before he tried it and was just going over the top to "make fun" of the concept, but then Yuna joins him and they just burst out laughing because of the ridiculousness of the situation. I really think it's great writing as well. I always admired Yuna, she knew her fate and yet she smiled. She smiled for others... Because she wanted everyone around her to have a little bit of joy and hope. That being said, I do appreciate that scene's meme legacy lmao I could gush about FFX all day long 😅 I've never had a chance to play FFX-2, so I can't wait to do it now! I know it's controversial and possibly cringe, but I'm just curious to see where the story goes?!
The Voice actings are great. People that say that it’s bad probably refer to the part where Tidus and Yuna force laugh. Those same people don’t understand that the laughing scene there is supposed to be forced, cringey, and weird. Both Tidus and Yuna VA did an awesome job with that forced laughing scene.
People say that because of a small part of clip taking out of context, the fake laughing scene. I thought the voice acting was pretty decent overall. And Yuna's VA Hedy Burress is just phenomenal imho.
The only real major issue with the voice acting, imo, is the ADR work. There's quite a few places where the voices are distractingly sped up to match the Japanese timing.
Still til this day this game is a masterpiece , from the story to the gameplay and you are not alone with crying at its ending. This game will touch the hearts of new players and returning players everytime 😢 i love this game.
I've been watching your FFX vids in pieces over the last couple of months and here at the end I just wanted to say thanks. It's been fun re-experiencing the game along with you. Your use of the chapter breaks made it very easy to pause and come back later. I had just started a replay of FFX when the pandemic isolation hit a couple of years ago. The world of Spira resonated with me a lot more than ever before when I was experiencing it in those circumstances. It's interesting that although this ending features one character finally dying (Auron) and another (Tidus) disappearing except for the secret ending, this is still such a triumphant closing: The heroes have broken the thousand-year cycle of destruction, and as Auron says, "This is your world now."
Well, thank you for being alongside me for the ride and thank you for writing a comment that has made my day. I'm also happy to hear that you've found the chapters helpful! The pandemic has definitely affected all of us in ways we couldn't predict. Honestly that's why I decided to replay FF X... The world was overwhelming and everything felt like it was crashing down. This story, it's a safe haven for me. It's weird saying it... But I can't explain the amount of peace I feel when playing this game. Maybe you'll relate to that feeling. Thank you again.
I came here to cry together with yet another player caught in this emote spiral, thanks for sharing and letting all of us experience it with you once more
Hello Dudette!! I can't believe it's over!! I wish I could express how magical this journey has been for me. I don't know how to thank you enough for all the joy this has brought me. Oh yeah the final Jecht battle was so awesome. I had totally forgotten how cool he looked and how great the music was. What!? Dudette head bangs!?! No Way!!! 😉Oh I hated it when you had to kill your Aeon friends, that is just the worst thing ever!! They have been by your side for so long, it's like a dagger to the heart!! Hey don't feel bad about crying, I am a grown man and the end makes me cry every time. The part that gets me is when Yuna is whistling. OMG waterfall alert!!!! I'm so happy you will be trying out X2. Will Yuna ever see Tidus again? What happens to all of our friends? Stay tuned!! Same Dudette time, same Dudette channel!!! 💖💖💖💖
Thank you for the continued love and support, I always look forward to reading your comments! You are an OG member of the Dudette family and I'm really grateful to have had you along for the ride 🙏 Yuna whistling at the end always gets me too... I still have no idea how the story in FF X-2 is going to play out, but I'm hopeful? I had genuinely forgotten about the post-credits scene in ffx and it seems like Tidus making a comeback is a possibility?? I don't know, but so excited to find out!
Hi Dudette! This was a fantastic journey! I loved it so much ❤ This chapter has really made me cry, too! The battle with Sin &then with Jecht, woow! Was so cool and the meantime when Jecht was defeated Tidus & Jecht together was so emotinal and moving! 😓 But not as moving as Yuna and Tidus at the end 😓 And the Hymn of the Fayth, can't find words.. so emotional and powerful soundtrack, love it so much! ❤ So - so much emotions!! Can't wait to continue this Final Fantasy X journey with You 😀❤
Haha Yuna is always the first one in my party to max her stats, she's badass and deserves it! But also because I always need a sub for Tidus... Stupid chocobo race, only have managed to beat it once in 4 playthroughs 😭😭
Aside from everything being immaculate in FFX and it being one of my personal favorite FF games, Id love to specifically mention how good the 'cut to credits' moment is in this game. I love the power of film/games that results from the marriage of audio/video and think FFX's ending is such a special example. The pace of the music with the rapid silent 'friend montage' as yuna finishes her speech, then the cut to black with just the wisp isolated, with her saying 'never forget them.' Then the god-tier Suteki Da Ne piano comes in with the credits -- literally one of my favorite edits ever. so so SO good
The aeons in ffx really are the best. Not only do you get to choose their actions and strengthen them through grinding (almost like pokemon), but the way most aeons interact with Yuna during the summoning animation really drives that bond home. Her gently caressing Valefore, Ifrit holding her and gently setting her down, Yuna actively pulling Ixion from that lightning portal, Shiva tossing her cloak to Yuna, etc. It's a masterclass in subtly demonstrating the relationship between a summoner and their summons.
As always, the final scene... so emotional.... it makes me cry every single times! The moment when Yuna runs and pass thru Tidus and fell on the floor .. we can read in Yuna's eyes and facial expression her discouragment and despair, knowing she's poweless in this situation ... heartbreaking😭 brings back so much memories.... FFX is from far, my favorite game. ❤️ I'm so eager to play it again when Square Enix will do a Remake of it! (like for ff7 remake) can you imagine? with today's videogame standard! i'm getting all excited just by thinking of it LOL I'm waiting for it anyway! :P Also, i can't wait to see you discovering FFx-2 😊 And don't forget to see the "Eternal calm" before playing FFx-2 😊 Hope you will have fun even if it's very different. Brace your self LOL 😉😎
I don't know if it's the nostalgia of it all, but FFX always leaves me an emotional mess. That being said, I was genuinely surprised to have cried on camera - I thought I'd be too self conscious so it caught me off guard! But I'm glad to hear the ending makes other people emotional as well. This game hold a very special place in my heart and it makes me so happy to find other people who feel the same way ❤️ From what I've heard, FF X-3 is going to be in production after they are done with FF VII Remake. Don't know about a FF X Remake though... Since you've mentioned it, I was wondering about the Eternal Calm? Is it a DLC and should I play it on the channel? Or is it just a long cutscene to sort of introduce FF X-2?
@@DudettePlayz FF like to play with our emotions, and FFX is all about emotions. Your genuine reaction is appreciate 😊 and let's be honest, we where all waiting for that moment where you would cry, because real fan cry😉😊💕💖 ( it reminds me of Jecht, lol We cry, we always cry 🤣 ) Yeah I've heard about FF-3 beeing a possibility and chance are high that there will be one. (i'm eager to play it as well!!) But I'am firmly convinced there will enventually be a FF-X remake, it's inconceivable that they don't do a remake of FFX who is one of their biggest hit. They are in a remastering /ramake frenzy so it will be ffx's turn eventually :) but it's not for now. May be in an other 10 years who knows. I'll wait lol The Eternal calm is only a cutscene to introduce the events of FF-2, it's not long. You can do it at the beginning of your video 😉 And after ffx-2 your not done with Spira! After there is ffx-2 last mission who is an other small game lol (Spira won't let you go that easily LOL) Hope to see you soon ! 😊
"You'll cry. You're gonna cry. You always cry. See? You're crying." - Damn you Jecht 😭😭😭 So "The Eternal Calm" is just a cinematic experience and then "Last Mission" is a shorter game. Got it, thanks for letting me know!
What gets me about this game is how completely selfless Tidus is once he realizes what's going on. Sure, he hates it... but it's him, or the world continues it's spiral into ruin. People can say what they want, he was a hero.
@@John-dd8kh No. The problem was not sin, but that the Aeons weren't being allowed to stop due to yu yevon refusing to die. Do you remember that wall in the mountains where the party said they were using a shitload of power? That was you. Tidus was essentially an Aeon in human form, but drew so much power that he was solid enough to be considered human by other humans. When they were Sent, he was Sent with them.
First I saw Nyxipuff have an emotional breakdown Then I saw Pekora have an emotional breakdown then I saw Sakura Miko have an emotional breakdown then I saw Miss Kyliee have an emotional breakdown then I saw SherrySanx have an emotional breakdown then I saw g9_games have an emotional breakdown I saw alanamisako VODs have an emotional breakdown and then I saw DudettePlayz have an emotional breakdown I'm just collecting Final Fantasy emotional breakdowns like it's Pokemon at this point
I just had to check in to see the ending... of course! :D Yeah, FFX has one of the better soundtracks in the series, and I absolutely remember adding the Jecht fight to a heavy mix CD back in the day, haha. Thanks for the trip down memory lane! I think the dagger through the heart is hearing the beautiful 'To Zanarkand' track when it's time for Tidus to go. That never fails to get me right in the throat. Congrats on yet another successful playthrough, and wishing you the very best as always. :)
Oh I still have that Jecht soundtrack in my playlist, no shame 😅 Thank you for stopping by, you know your support means a lot! You've been here since the beginning and I appreciate you. Hope all is well!
This has been my favorite game of all time for 20 years. But now I think I might have to say Final Fantasy VII Remake is my favorite of all time. I can’t wait until Part II.
FF X is definitely one of my favorite as well, it was the first game I ever played so it holds a very special place in my heart. FF VII Remake Part II can't come soon enough, I'm so excited!!
@@DudettePlayz All they’ve said so far is new news about the world of Final Fantasy VII. I have a feeling it might be Ever Crisis or Intergrade going to Xbox or something. But I’m HOPEFUL that it’s going to be Part II lol I think it will be at Summer Game Fest, but I might be wrong about that too. What’s the date for the anniversary?
Prior to 2001 I had played plenty of games I still consider to have a good story, like Ocarina of Time or Diablo. Final Fantasy X was different. It pulled me into Spira right along with Tidus and got me invested in a way I didn't know was even possible. I've watched this ending at least a dozen times and I still get emotional every time. It really is the perfect finish to an epic journey. It has so many layers: Tidus and Jecht's reconciliation, Aurons badass final moments, the beautiful music and visuals during the final sending, Tidus embracing Yuna, the entire party's background reactions, the hi-five, Yuna's whistle, "never forget them"... and more, as if that weren't enough. It's unbelievable how much was crammed in there and not a single bit of it feels out of place. (Although I do agree with you that "Arigato" somehow says more than "I love you" does. To me their romantic feelings were only part of their relationship so "I love you" feels a bit more narrow where "Arigato" sort of covers everything.) Thank you for sharing your playthrough of this classic among classics. It's rare for me to come across someone who has as much love for this game as I do, which you clearly do. Honestly, I'm a bit bummed it has to come to an end. I do hope you enjoy the sequel! I played it for the first time last year and I enjoyed it. I think a lot of people criticized the tonal shift it brings but I didn't mind it at all. It's a very upbeat and carefree feeling game. I think the characters, especially Yuna, have earned some fun and carefree time. If Spira was still all gloomy and sad like in FFX it would be like everyone's sacrifices were for nothing. That said, I haven't seen the secret ending. It's basically impossible to get on a first play. I've heard it's somewhat controversial as well. Maybe I'll end up watching it for the first time on your channel! Who knows?
Honestly that's what has been so special about making these videos... is findind people who treasure FF X the same way I do. None of my friends growing up played Final Fantasy so now findind people who understand how I feel - I'm very grateful for that! You've mentioned that FF X-2 has a secret ending? Does that mean that the game has multiple endings or is it just a special cutscene that is unlocked with a certain requirement?
@@DudettePlayz The latter. There's a special cutscene unlocked with 100% completion. It's practically impossible to do in a casual playthrough. There are tons of little things you can miss and you can't go back for them. I won't spoil anything about what the cutscene contains, I don't fully know myself. I do know that every FFX fan I've talked to about it has a negative opinion about it. I've avoided watching it because of that. Otherwise I thought the game was pretty good so I didn't wanna ruin it.
Final Fantasy 10 was like 7 but twice as much depth in the story and the characters. Its a very emotional story where 7 is more of an great adventure with awesome characters. As soon as I started playing FF10, I knew I found something special, like everything in it connected to each other some kind of way, like 7 there where small stories that aided the big story all with emotional depth so you felt it. They nailed it here. 10 yrs later and it still makes you feel it.
This game ending is no joke, a act cool guy like me also eye drop tears fall down, perhaps thats true love shown in the game, it teach us appreciate someone who accompany you and when they lost or pass away is forever goner, maybe is lover, maybe is parent, so act nice and dont treat a person bad and try treat them right for good ppl.
From my understanding, the reason Tidus didn't tell Yuna that he was going to disappear until the very last moment is because he was worried that if Yuna knew that killing Yu Yevon meant losing him, she might have second thoughts and lose her resolve to complete her quest. So he wanted her to be wholly focused on defeating Sin and Yu Yevon, even if it meant that he couldn't say goodbye properly. And the reason he tried to leave quickly at the end without even a hug is to avoid breaking her heart in the exact way it happened when she tried to run into his arms and went right through him.
I remember the first time i saw this, it took a while because i didnt get how to Level up the best way. But finale i was very overpowered after grindig a few hours, and i was worried because the final battles were too easy and short to feel epic. And then the ending scene began… it broke me completely m, it was the first Game that made me cry and think about it for weeks. It still hits me today, cant warch it without tears. Thank you Square Enix, and thank you mr uemqtsu for one of my most listened, loved and played melodies, zanarkand. BTW: chocobo race took me about an hour, but avoisibg the flashes was pretty hard for me!!!
The thank you does mean more they have both already confessed their feelings for each other earlier, her thank you was letting him know she knew he gave up his life in order to save her and Spira.
1:26:30Because the Japanese first-person and second-person characters change according to the social status of both parties and the different occasions of dialogue, it is a social rhetoric in itself. Therefore, Japanese users deliberately do not use the first person and second person in dialogue as the relationship becomes more intimate. This creates a paradox: the better the relationship, the less likely it is to say "I love you"
@29:25 Not sure if anyone else said it Rikku tidus and wakka for a few reasons First and foremost, they can be in all of the optional fights, including the water bosses...... Rikku mixes are LEGENDARY if you have the items, as is wakkas attack reels tidus is the lesser of the overdrive but he can water so meh.....
I'll be uploading the first episode of FF X-2 next week! I haven't decided if I'll do an entire Let's Play here on the channel or not - that will be up to you guys! Regardless if it's on camera or not, I'll be playing FF X-2 for sure 😊
O proximo video vai ser Elden Ring!Vou tentar também filmar um episodio de FF X-2 e se as pessoas gostarem, posso fazer uma let's play desse jogo aqui no canal 😊
One thing I don’t understand tho.. if Jecht became sin when they beat it, wouldn’t that have had the same impact as tidus and his sacrifice? Shouldn’t sin have been truly beaten when jecht and his crew beat it? It’s been awhile since I played this and I can’t remember a whole lot, but that was always what stuck with me…
Sin can’t really be killed with a summon. The moment Sin was killed via Jecht as the final Aeon, Yu Yevon possessed Jecht and killed Braska. Over the next 10 years, Yu Yevon as the Final Aeon absorbs pyre flies (souls) and rebuilt Sin. The Hym of the Fayth (whose bodies are in the stone cliff) are constantly summoning Sin (and a copy of Zanakand within it). So they would need to stop summoning in order for Sin to properly die. Sin was also placated in this battle via the people of Spira singing the Hym. Sin would have never let Yuna’s party within him without it.
As much as I'd love that, I can't realistically imagine Square Enix making a FFX Remake. Rumor has it that after FFVII, they'll be working on X-3? Either way, tons of Final Fantasy content for the next decade and that makes me so happy 😊
I believe Nomura has confirmed in an interview that the script for X-3 has already been written. So I think there is a high chance that they'll start production once they're finished with FF VII Remake... So you know, in the next 10 years 😂
Of course, I get it! I've been calling him Tie-Dus since I was a little kid so that pronunciation carries a lot more familiarity and nostalgia for me ❤️
wow i never thing to use holy on sin normally i use amima and behemoth overdrivers 1 on the left 1 on the right and dint bother to try any spells ever killing my eons it was hard i realy do every thing with my eons in my first run they where gods .
I think using your Aeons' overdrive against Sin is a perfectly good strategy, especially if you don't have Yuna's celestial weapon by then! I just like overpowering Yuna and watching her KO every enemy haha. It's especially fun when you level up her strengh and watch her deal max damage with a simple tap from her staff... never fails to make me chuckle.
5:39 im VERY sry but that was really..ADORABLE!😆 26:50 why do they have to design a monster with many holes/circular shape? N its moving! My trypophobia may b gone but it still makes me uncomfortable😭 Jecht's battle is like my favourite part. N i LOVE the soundtrack just like u did!😊BUT the Eternal Calm chapter makes me..😭 The music n ur reaction..I hope ur feeling ok aft that. Im VERY sry that i joined u halfway through on this EPIC journey. I shld've found ur channel earlier😔 i LOVE this type of game! N u made it even BETTER! Again, NVR apologize for the late upload, alrite? Coz im VERY happy whenever u uploaded new vid, be it sooner or later😊 u STAY SAFE too n always TAKE CARE, ok?😇 THNK U for this n THNK U for EVERYTH!🙏
Oh trypophobia is the worst and I can see how Sin would be a nightmare for people with that phobia!! The Jecht boss battle is so epic, I almost feel like they should have saved it as their last battle in the game... Because fighting Yu Yevon after that felt like such a let down 😅 Thank you for your support, I'm really happy you've found the channel! 😊
Oof that's no contest: Cloud, always Cloud! Mostly because we're too alike and I relate to him 😅 But if you mean who's my favorite ff boy... I might have to go with Balthier 😏
Tidus's "I hate you" wasn't sped up, not really. Tidus didn't mean it. It was something he'd had to say for years, but when he finally said it, he didn't really mean it.
I hear where you are coming from and I agree of course that Tidus didn't mean it when he said that. But I still think that line was sped up a little. The most noticeable one is the infamous "With Yuna by my side" at Mt. Gagazet. I think Tidus VA confirmed that they had to speed up some lines to fit with the animation. They did the best they could at the time 🤗
Fun fact, i recently played FFX with the japanese dub, and besides they made a scene where tidus and yuna kiss, in this final scene yuna doesnt say "I love you" to Tidus, in japanese she say "THANK YOU" WTF JAPAN WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
Oh is that right? I heard many things about FF XIII, but I had no idea it had an emotional story. I didn't have a PS3 so I missed out on that whole generation of Final Fantasy...
@DudettePlayz all 3 games have emotional endings. The overall trilogy is a great story and the 3rd game is one of the most beautiful endings ever. 13 got a lot of negative feedback at the time for trying something new but now is mostly positive. It's still atb
I feel like most FF games get huge flack at release, only to be remembered fondly many years later. People always complain that "it's not a true Final Fantasy game" lol If only they made XIII available for the PS5 😭
@DudettePlayz yeah everything after 10 has had flack. People moaned at 12 for playing itself, moaned at 13 for playing itself and being a corridor sim, moaned at 15 for being full actiom, and even 7 remake despite it being a very good game and faithful to the original. People moaned about the mmos too, and even 8 got flack too. I've even seen people bashing FF16 for being a DMC clone I replayed 13 on PC last month using the 4k mod. It looks better than most ps5 games which is just incredible
Don't forget that even VII originally got flack too for being so different from the other games and now it's hailed as one of the best in the franchise
I have never bothered with celestial weapons or dark aeons. Way too annoying. I have played through probably 5 or 6 times. I play for the story and you can still be op without the weapons for the main story anyway.
Oh you're right, I know that's the correct pronunciation. But I've been calling Tidus "Taida" for the past 20 years, so it feels wrong to call him "Teeda" I'm sorry 😢
Hahahah 33k cute damage if you grind right tuna can deal 99,999 damage when I played on ps2 I only used tidus yuna and auron they was hitting so hard sin was a breeze best grind place is omega ruins for the final battle
Lol been there, done that... It's just personally a little too anticlimactic for me. This is my 4th playthrough and it was a zero game-over challenge. I wanted every boss to put up some kind of fight, so I was actually upset at how OP they were in this episode. We had just defeated Omega Weapon, which in retrospect was probably what made the party a little too over-leveled. But hey 99,999 damage is great for monster arena!
Your play through was the best I binged watched hands down, I'm used to the orginal version the HD version is a relearn for me my first dark aeon pimp slapped me back out of besiad lol, did you do a play through of X2 I'm trying it out and they added new stuff I'm having to get used to again new dress spheres and having a feind as a party member is fun
Oh now I feel bad, I'm sorry! The last episode got a lot of traction, so most of the comments are from people who were just here to watch my reaction to the ending. When I read your comment, I assumed that was the case which is why I felt the need to explain things a little bit. Thank you for watching the entire Let's Play, that means a lot! I had to play the International version so the Dark Aeons have been kicking my butt for 20 years 😂😭 And a FF X-2 playthrough may or may not already be in the works 👀
i think it is funny everyone i watch are try hards on the last boss yet u cant die and hurts him self and all u need to do is attack him and watch him die lol but hey this was a year ago maybe u learned this by now :P
This game is very special to me so thank you for being a part of this journey - it means a lot!

Did you cry more than him?
You always cry, look you're crying
@@Oddragnar😂
I don't blame him, the game is really beautiful and well done
When you have kids as well then more crying
This hits even harder when you realize that Wakka lost two brothers...
When you know that none of this would have been possible without Kimahri honoring a dying man's wishes and taking Yuna to Besaid, it makes that chest tap Auron gives him before departing that much more meaningful.
Oh man, I hadn't even thought of that... 🥺 I love Kimahri, no wonder he's my favorite!
The characters were with depth. All tied together. Damn I want an FFX prequel.
Yep and the respect he has for tidus by endgame is beyond words they become really tight but nothing like wakka and tidus those guys are brothers 😂
Everyone loses it at the "I love you from Yuna." But what really kills me is Wakka's reaction at 1:25:36 when he realizes he's losing another brother.
serves him right 😏
This ending never failed to make me shed tears .
Literally never fails
Just finished this game yesterday. First game to make me truly cry. That ending broke me
Welcome to the club 💔 It's okay, we just tell ourselves that the tears come from Auron chopping up onions with his Masamune 😂😭
If you manage to make it through FFX-2 and 100% it, (SPOILER!) Tidus and Yuna will be reunited. It is worth it.
When she just goes right through him, you know its to happen. The tears just flow like a river.
That being said, I do appreciate that scene's meme legacy lmao
I could gush about FFX all day long 😅 I've never had a chance to play FFX-2, so I can't wait to do it now!
I came here to cry together with yet another player caught in this emote spiral, thanks for sharing and letting all of us experience it with you once more
The ending gets me every time!
You are an OG member of the Dudette family and I'm really grateful to have had you along for the ride 🙏
Yuna whistling at the end always gets me too... I still have no idea how the story in FF X-2 is going to play out, but I'm hopeful? I had genuinely forgotten about the post-credits scene in ffx and it seems like Tidus making a comeback is a possibility?? I don't know, but so excited to find out!
Thanks so much for sharing the end of a great game Dudette😊Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for watching!
Can't wait to continue this Final Fantasy X journey with You 😀❤
Thank you for a being a part of this journey! The best part about all of this has been findind a community that loves Final Fantasy as much as I do ❤
My girl Yuna carrying the whole party with that Holy, lmao.
Great vid :)
Haha Yuna is always the first one in my party to max her stats, she's badass and deserves it! But also because I always need a sub for Tidus... Stupid chocobo race, only have managed to beat it once in 4 playthroughs 😭😭
@@DudettePlayz yeah the Chocobo race is painful, I totally get you. Love this game to death, my favorite, but my God those side-quests.
Wow i loved this game... i played it when it first came out and you made me relive everything! Thanks dudette! THANKS!
You're most welcome! 😊
I played FFX when it was first released as well, in fact it was the first game I ever played ❤️
@@DudettePlayz Well then we had a great childhood! hehe Ill keep up with your FF videos! ☺
The moment when Yuna runs and pass thru Tidus and fell on the floor .. we can read in Yuna's eyes and facial expression her discouragment and despair, knowing she's poweless in this situation ... heartbreaking😭
brings back so much memories....
FFX is from far, my favorite game. ❤️
I'm so eager to play it again when Square Enix will do a Remake of it! (like for ff7 remake) can you imagine? with today's videogame standard! i'm getting all excited just by thinking of it LOL
I'm waiting for it anyway! :P
Also, i can't wait to see you discovering FFx-2 😊
And don't forget to see the "Eternal calm" before playing FFx-2 😊
Hope you will have fun even if it's very different.
This game hold a very special place in my heart and it makes me so happy to find other people who feel the same way ❤️
From what I've heard, FF X-3 is going to be in production after they are done with FF VII Remake.
Your genuine reaction is appreciate 😊 and let's be honest, we where all waiting for that moment where you would cry, because real fan cry😉😊💕💖 ( it reminds me of Jecht, lol We cry, we always cry 🤣 )
Yeah I've heard about FF-3 beeing a possibility and chance are high that there will be one. I'll wait lol
The Eternal calm is only a cutscene to introduce the events of FF-2, it's not long. You can do it at the beginning of your video 😉
And after ffx-2 your not done with Spira! After there is ffx-2 last mission who is an other small game lol (Spira won't let you go that easily LOL)
Hope to see you soon ! 😊
"You'll cry. You're gonna cry. You always cry. See? You're crying." - Damn you Jecht 😭😭😭
So "The Eternal Calm" is just a cinematic experience and then "Last Mission" is a shorter game. Got it, thanks for letting me know!
@@DudettePlayz At your service! 😉. hahaha It's always a pleasure to chat with you 😊
What gets me about this game is how completely selfless Tidus is once he realizes what's going on. Sure, he hates it... but it's him, or the world continues it's spiral into ruin. People can say what they want, he was a hero.
So he would've lived if they didn't kill sin?
@@John-dd8kh No. The problem was not sin, but that the Aeons weren't being allowed to stop due to yu yevon refusing to die. Do you remember that wall in the mountains where the party said they were using a shitload of power? That was you.
Tidus was essentially an Aeon in human form, but drew so much power that he was solid enough to be considered human by other humans.
When they were Sent, he was Sent with them.

Oh I still have that Jecht soundtrack in my playlist, no shame 😅
Thank you for stopping by, you know your support means a lot! You've been here since the beginning and I appreciate you. Hope all is well!

Very pure reaction. Thank you for sharing.
@@DudettePlayz At least we might be getting some new news next month!
Hopefully a trailer…..that’d be amazing
For the 25th anniversary, right?? We can only hope!
@@DudettePlayz All they’ve said so far is new news about the world of Final Fantasy VII.
I have a feeling it might be Ever Crisis or Intergrade going to Xbox or something. But I’m HOPEFUL that it’s going to be Part II lol
I think it will be at Summer Game Fest, but I might be wrong about that too.
To me their romantic feelings were only part of their relationship so "I love you" feels a bit more narrow where "Arigato" sort of covers everything.)
Thank you for sharing your playthrough of this classic among classics.
After 15 years and seeing the ending over ten times, I still cry every time I watch it
the part that kills me is after watching others beat it i realize the pain(sorrow?) in his face when yuna says she loves him and when he runs off.
10 yrs later and it still makes you feel it.
funny 7 and 10 are sometimes regarded as the most popular final fantasy games same with 8 and 6
Yuna falling right through Tidus' fading ghost is just... so... devasting...
I came to see someone get emotional at the end bit. Didn't disappoint
TRANQUILLA, IN QUESTO FINALE...ABBIAMO PIANTO TUTTI..TUTTI T________T un abbraccio dall'Italia! Yuna e Tidus 4ever
This game ending is no joke, a act cool guy like me also eye drop tears fall down, perhaps thats true love shown in the game, it teach us appreciate someone who accompany you and when they lost or pass away is forever goner, maybe is lover, maybe is parent, so act nice and dont treat a person bad and try treat them right for good ppl.
for the first time i see the end. and i like all the episodes Dudette
Cool video to end it all! Liked!
Very nice review i platinium the game few weeks back a very nice Final Fantasy :)
Just started playing this again for like my 100 time im loving it the weekend is coming up gonna play it all weekend switch between this and cyberpunk
I get it, FF X is my comfort game! Sometimes I'll just play Blitzball, I know that's probably controversial... but I've always found it fun 😅
love it the way you finish this game, the story is so amazing the gameplay also epic, and the ending soooo happysad :):(
Thank you and although it's bittersweet, I think that was the perfect ending to FFX
I'm a 36 year old man and still barely keep it dry.. i cried when i first played it. The original version
I understand, Don't feel bad about it. I'm 66 and I've been crying at the end of this game for the last 24 years since it came out.
1:26:30Because the Japanese first-person and second-person characters change according to the social status of both parties and the different occasions of dialogue, it is a social rhetoric in itself. Therefore, Japanese users deliberately do not use the first person and second person in dialogue as the relationship becomes more intimate. This creates a paradox: the better the relationship, the less likely it is to say "I love you"
This game only is the best ever ❤❤❤❤❤❤😘
It certainly holds a very special place in my heart!

Rikku tidus and wakka for a few reasons
First and foremost, they can be in all of the optional fights, including the water bosses......
Rikku mixes are LEGENDARY if you have the items, as is wakkas attack reels tidus is the lesser of the overdrive but he can water so meh.....

Qual próximo jogo q vc pretende trazer??
Why do I not remember a lot of this dialogue? I played the North American version, Is it different than this?
Did you watch the scene after the credits? It sets up X2.
You were quit wrong thinking you can see this without tears
Indeed! It's the fourth time, you'd think I'd know better 😭
Best FF Ending
10/10 I love seeing peeps reaction to the end of the game I wish ffx would get the ff7 remake treatment just imagine how good the game would look.
As much as I'd love that, I can't realistically imagine Square Enix making a FFX Remake. Rumor has it that after FFVII, they'll be working on X-3? Either way, tons of Final Fantasy content for the next decade and that makes me so happy 😊
X-3? 👀 if they actually do that you have to play day one... I love all ff but x is my favorite so I really hope they make X-3
I believe Nomura has confirmed in an interview that the script for X-3 has already been written. So I think there is a high chance that they'll start production once they're finished with FF VII Remake... So you know, in the next 10 years 😂
I know absolutely nothing! 😂 Not even sure if they're considering the audio drama canon or not. Either way hope we're both here to see it!!

I think using your Aeons' overdrive against Sin is a perfectly good strategy, especially if you don't have Yuna's celestial weapon by then! It's especially fun when you level up her strengh and watch her deal max damage with a simple tap from her staff... never fails to make me chuckle.

I played FF7 Remake here on the channel, but still haven't been able to play the Yuffie DLC because I don't own a PS5 😭
感動するよね🥹
Who is ur fave ff boy tidus cloud or noctis?
Oof that's no contest: Cloud, always Cloud! Mostly because we're too alike and I relate to him 😅
But if you mean who's my favorite ff boy... I might have to go with Balthier 😏
@@DudettePlayz aww nice choice 😁
Yuna run and fall was just too much for me. 😢
I know, it's so sad! 😢
Ffx = square enix catching lightning in a bottle
Tidus's "I hate you" wasn't sped up, not really. Tidus didn't mean it. It was something he'd had to say for years, but when he finally said it, he didn't really mean it.
I hear where you are coming from and I agree of course that Tidus didn't mean it when he said that.
But I still think that line was sped up a little. The most noticeable one is the infamous "With Yuna by my side" at Mt. Gagazet. I think Tidus VA confirmed that they had to speed up some lines to fit with the animation. They did the best they could at the time 🤗
Have you tried playing Hello Neighbor I love that game i love to see you play all tell tale games soon I love to see more live streams too
I love Telltale games!! Can't wait for The Wolf Among Us 2 😁
😎👍
Fun fact, i recently played FFX with the japanese dub, and besides they made a scene where tidus and yuna kiss, in this final scene yuna doesnt say "I love you" to Tidus, in japanese she say "THANK YOU" WTF JAPAN WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
Did you not played X-2?
Haven't had a chance yet 😭
@@DudettePlayz then let’s do it together, I haven’t played it before either
Best kill for yu yevon is Zombie.
Also cry, thanks
yeah the last enemie is basically a joke. One Angel spell on him he down :D Or Archangel. :D
I also prefer the Japanese version of ending
Fellow crybaby here who loves this game 😅
Btw if you want another good cry play the 13 trilogy. Its beautiful
People always complain that "it's not a true Final Fantasy game" lol
If only they made XIII available for the PS5 😭
@DudettePlayz yeah everything after 10 has had flack. People moaned at 12 for playing itself, moaned at 13 for playing itself and being a corridor sim, moaned at 15 for being full actiom, and even 7 remake despite it being a very good game and faithful to the original. People moaned about the mmos too, and even 8 got flack too. I've even seen people bashing FF16 for being a DMC clone
I replayed 13 on PC last month using the 4k mod. It looks better than most ps5 games which is just incredible
Don't forget that even VII originally got flack too for being so different from the other games and now it's hailed as one of the best in the franchise
1:03:51 aggressively loves the shit out of him to death
i play this game in 2002?im fuking old
Nah you're good, I also played this game 20 years ago! And ffx has hold up the test of time incredibly well 🙏
1:23:20
I have never bothered with celestial weapons or dark aeons. Way too annoying. I have played through probably 5 or 6 times. I play for the story and you can still be op without the weapons for the main story anyway.
not taida.it's Teeda
Oh you're right, I know that's the correct pronunciation. But I've been calling Tidus "Taida" for the past 20 years, so it feels wrong to call him "Teeda" I'm sorry 😢
@@DudettePlayz thank you for response.
i heard that Teeda means Sun.and Yuuna means Night.in japan Okinawa language.
Oh that's beautiful, I had no idea. Thank you for letting me know!
I had to play the International version so the Dark Aeons have been kicking my butt for 20 years 😂😭
And a FF X-2 playthrough may or may not already be in the works 👀
@@DudettePlayz I hope so I wont spoil what I'm seeing for you but I will say be sure to talk to shinra at the start of the game 😉
Did she the greedy streamer? 😂
Sorry if I'm wrong.
I'm sorry I don't understand the question, could you please ask it in a different way? I also don't livestream so I'm not a streamer.
She is so overleveled lol. Like why are anyone setting up for anything at that point lol
Wasn’t your first game over against omega already lol
Nope, I didn't die against Omega 😎
What if there was a live action movie of this game...? One of my fave final fantasy series...
i think it is funny everyone i watch are try hards on the last boss yet u cant die and hurts him self and all u need to do is attack him and watch him die lol but hey this was a year ago maybe u learned this by now :P
