In this video, I address the power steering fluid leaks that's been bugging me for a while. I flushed the old fluid out and replaced all the seals inside the power steering pump. I also replaced some of the hoses and clamps where visible leaks can be seen. I made 2 parts to this video. Part 1 is about power steering fluid flush and pump rebuild. Part 2 is about replacing some of the hoses and clamps.
**Please be responsible and dispose old fluid properly**

A very useful video. Without hiding the information, without showing off, the repair video can only be this much.

Great video . Hint if remove pipe to pipe clamp first nearest the rack then remove hose to reservoir . Remove entire hose assembly and makes it easy to get to the hard clamps u can’t reach . 🤙

Thank you! I saw another video about rebuilding this and was kind of nervous about the part where the little metal plates fall out...but you made it look easy. I'll try and do this, this week! Thank you again brother!

Your welcome! Let me know how it goes when you tackle it. Hardest for me was removing the bearing…would’ve been easier with a table clamp holding it down. 💪💪💪 you got this!

How can I replace the Power Steering Rack Seal Kit for 1st Generation Honda CRV (1997
    - 2001 Honda CRV RD1)? There’s excessive play in the steering system. The steering wheel is loose, “has play in it”; ATF is leaking from the steering rack.
