This song is from 1983.
Billy Idol was and is an icon of that decade.
"Eyes without a face", "Flesh and fantasy", "Sweet sexteen", "Hot in city" and more ...
Listen to "Bitter Taste", his latest hit, 21st century ...
It is intact.
well said Andrea!
Saw Billy's concert around 1987. Fantastic live. Thank you.
George you're so humble at the end when you thanked us for introducing you to music you've never heard. Amazing journey isn't it? I've watched you since the very, very beginning & believe me - you bring me SO MUCH JOY! I love watching a song & band hit you. We truly are connected for life my friend. Never stop.
Billy Idol was among the very best the 80's had to offer. The perfect mixture of punk, New Wave, and classic rock, with a bit of a pop sensibility...plus the guy had tons of charisma and looked and acted like a true rock star. His music wasn't super meaningful or serious, but it really pumped you up and made you feel something.
Billy Idol started out in a punk band called Generation X
Love Billy Idol❤️❤️❤️
Steve Stevens killin' it on guitar...just sayin'.............
And he sounds just as good live!
So Underrated 🔥🔥🔥🔥
haha
Everytime!
Always did.
Glad you found Billy Idol. His catalog is a must and he was a staple during the 80s.
billy idol is a true manly man,,and a true rock hero,,,yall should check out his original music video, craddle of love, its a once in a lifetime video,,1 that you will never forget and will enjoy, i garuntee,,
So this band is the quintessential ‘80s glam rock meets punk. Total Gen X (and people wonder why we are the way we are!) I was lucky enough to be introduced to this which led to catching the tail end of the punk scene. So many stories I could tell!
Don’t worry about setting the expectations high this time- with Billy you’ll never end up being disappointed 😊
"Rock The Cradle Of Love"
BUMP
Oh the 70/80s I so love them!!!!!!!and miss them
All his song are just up there. HE WAS MY NUMBER ONE DURING THE 80’s ! I was a teenager back there! HE WILL ALWAYS AND WILL BE THE BEST
Billy ROCKS!!! She cried MORE, MORE, MORE❗❗❗
That guy on guitar is Steve Stevens who also played the Top Gun movie anthem along with Harold Faltermeyer 🔥
That screen was kind of his thing we all love it
Hey George & Patrick - Billy Idol is one of my favorite from the 80's! REBEL YELL IS EPIC! He's a one of a kind. Hit after hit! Yeah, that's Steve Stevens on the guitar. That weird sound you mentioned - Steve made is from a toy gun. Beast isn't he?
"Dancing With Myself"
"White Wedding"
"Mony Mony"
"Eyes Without A Face"
....these are MUSTS!
yuo i agree it is epic! and Billy still sounds great in concert
My favorite song of his. Man the 80's
His song "White Wedding" is equally amazing
nah, rebel yell is one of a kind.
@@jacklewis5452 White Wedding was/is a banger!
The guitarist Steve Stevens is the same guy on Michael Jackson’s Dirty Diana and this song was inspired by Billy being at a bar with The Rolling Stones and they were drinking Rebel Yell whiskey and it was the first time Billy had drank it
BILLY ROCKS!!! Listen to "Rock The Cradle Of Love!"
You can't listen to the 80's without including some Billy Idol !! Recommend "Hot In The City"
I saw him in 87 and the concert was very much like this video. It was fantastic.
Billy Idol "White Wedding", "Scream", "L.A. Woman" ( you guys loved Doors , it's Doors cover). Billy Idol reminded me another Billy from the same era - Billy Squier "Emotions in Motion".
Love Billy Idol awesome reaction 😉
I listened to this back in the early 80's in high school at the age of 13 cool era💯👏
Eyes without a face is a good track!!!
Yeah! Soundtrack of The Legend of Billie Jean in 1984
Billy idol was definitely a unique style all his own. I never took him too seriously. Though a couple of his songs made for great jogging/workout music for me back in the '80s. Definitely energy boosting. "White Wedding" has got to be next.
Too cool then and now. 😎
Oh Billy your so fine with you rebel yell 👏👏
Love the vocals and GUITAR!!
Billy was the epitome of “ cool”.And a great band .You two are great reviewers by the way.
Love Billy Idol. Eyes Without A Face is a little different pace, but definitely one of my favorites!
Yeah, beauty 😊
Guys defo listen to “white wedding” which is equally awesome and a great favourite for - you’ve guessed it - dancing at weddings,,,
The music is out a sync in the last part of the video. Love Billy! Saw him in the 80’s and again about 15 years ago. He and guitarist Steve Stevens are still putting out music and touring.
Eyes without a face.Try that one , youll feel same power😘😘Because you both know about music Ill always follow your reactions.💋From the Dominican Republic.
Check out studio version of "mony mony" and "rock the cradle of love" by Billy Idol!!
Have they heard " Hot in the City"? They need to
Now you guys should react to "Flesh For Fantasy" by Billy Idol
🔥🔥🔥
Great reaction!!
The Guittar "Trick" is live - hand made 😊
My theme song first year of college! 1985!
AWESOME i'VE SEEN HIM LIVE.
Good review!
Great Rock song!
In the midnight hour she cried More, More, More! Yep....
Try his cover version of Mony Mony - great crowd participation! Mour Mour more! Steve Stevens!! love the guitar shreds.
That was pure awesomeness !!
So glad you both are successful with you're reaction channel. I'm not going to lie, I miss you two sitting in your beautiful chairs reacting.
Continue to enjoy your exciting journey.
Billy idol next white wedding 🥳
Billy Idol has a cameo in the Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore film The Wedding Singer. He was also supposed to play the 2nd Terminator in Terminator 2: Judgement Day but was involved in a motorcycle accident and replaced by Robert Patrick. His first hit on MTV(Music Television) was White Wedding. Eyes Without A Face is based on the French horror Les Yeux Sans Visage which is a chorus in the song. In Cradle of Love, he was still recovering from his accident so his scenes were very limited in the video but still worked well. Mony,Mony is a fun song too lots of energy! More Billy Idol Reacts!
LEGEND 😎
On the turning away - Pink Floyd Delicate Sound of Thunder
Great stuff bros..dating myself, but I remember when this hit radio, people freaked..
This tune played throughout the decade....
He had so many hits and was as huge as his peers back then!
I'm surprised the world has almost forgotten about him? Being a kid in the 80s at times he remined me of He-Man.
Guess you going to discover Billy Idol.
Can you check out his Eyes Without A Face tune?
I didnt realize you didnt know Billy Idol yet -- glad you enjoyed it! --- Billy embodied 80s punk and made it fun -- everyone will suggest White Wedding next and its a great song but I would do Dancing with Myself -- It keeps the same energy going
Uno de los primeros punks!!!!
You might also like Billy Idol's songs "Hot in the City" and "Dancing With Myself" and "Mony Mony" (a cover of the 1968 No. 3 hit by Tommy James and the Shondells), which Billy took to No. 1 in the U.S.
stage presence 💯
What’s up brother’s
This is one of my all time favorite songs. Billy has a number of fantastic songs, the whole Whiplash Smile -album is absolutely amazing. I would like to hear your thoughts about I don`t need a gun. One of the best songs from the Whiplash Smile album.
Other really good one`s would be Flesh for fantasy, To be a lover and Sweet sixteen.
the guitar sound is from a laser gun.
Blue Highway is another rocker from Billy Idol, great driving song
Dude that is classic metal.
Steve Stevens also did the Top Gun anthem.
Billy Idol still going strong and just as sexy..A UK product....White Wedding..he sang rebel yell with Mylie Cyrus..on stage..fantastic..
Have a look...
The next one should be" White Wedding " By Billy Idol .
BILLY IDOL "WHITE WEDDING" & "EYES WITHOUT A FACE"
Hola.
Def Leppard - Hysteria.
Saludos.
Steve and Billy are always the coolest guys in the room. Freaking Awesome!!!
Billy Idol and Generation X his band were one of my favourite band whilst at high school along with zeppelin, Deep Purple and of course the music of Waters and Gilmour. My Mum was a wild child and I was listening to Clapton etc. Good to see you both react so hyped.
Billy was on the Punk Rock wave; but cooler... 'Pirate Rock':)
You guys are great commentators - Theatrical performers like Billy Idol are the best.
I absolutely love watching all your reactions. Your passion and love for all kinds of music shows through. Thank you for reacting to many songs no one else on you tube have ever reacted to. Love, light and blessings from Chicago, Illinois in America. ❤️👏🙏
Fabulous rock song from Billy Idol - you can't stop moving when this is playing, that's for sure. Came out in 1983 and I've loved it since then. Billy Idol is great, I've recently downloaded a cover song he did of Mony Mony - another great rock song. Guys, it's a real pleasure requesting music which you've not heard and you're both enjoying so much. And, don't forget you're introducing new music to us too, and it's brilliant to discover new bands etc which you're reacted to on your channel - fantastic. I've been subscribed to your channel since January and on Patreon since March, I think! Also subscribed to your other channels too and all of them give me so much pleasure - we're all friends as you say and I really enjoy giving you as much support as I can - you deserve it. Thanks so much, guys, for all your hard work, bringing us all these fantastic reactions, very much appreciated.
Love Billy...sound of my teen years
This is one of the most fun, exciting songs and the video just adds to it. Billy was part of the punk rock era of the early 80s and was king of it. We were doing lots of jumping up and down dancing as well as what is referred to now as the iconic 80's "Carlton Dance" goes perfect with this song. lol He is still performing (is a grandfather now) and looks great. His guitarist, Steve Stevens, is still with him too. They just don't jump around like they used to. lol
Thanks for another great reaction! Love Billy Idol. ♡♡♡
I am so excited you checked Billy out!! I loved him, and it went thru my whole family, even my gramma would say how handsome he was😂
You guys always make my day, thank you!♥️
I'm so glad you like Billy!! He was a favorite of mine way back when and he's still rockin' today.
I'm going to see him live for the second time in November - He still has the same energy he's always had! You should check out more of Billy, he never disappoints!
Hey guys you did another great one and I enjoyed it so much! Billy Idol is on the circuit here in the States again. He was just on one of the major network nighttime shows (Jimmy Kimmel) and is doing stadium concerts. He has about 3 more big hits they are White Wedding, Mony Mony and Eyes without a Face. I do like this one the best though.
Loved it guys more Billy Idol Please ! White wedding , eyes without a Face just two of his great songs you guys should also react to😊
I never was into billy idol but I do love this song
Hey guys, i’ve been watching your Pink Floyd reactions and they have been so epic, there's something about reactions which brings back the memories from when i first heard these.
That being said, i STRONGLY recommend High Hopes - live in Gdansk.
Great reaction guys - you’d enjoy “White Wedding” too, but he had quite a few hits.
hi giuys love the music keep it coming brill channel quick request if possible with a brill guiter riff u will love is that of THE OUTLAWS with there song called GREEN GRASS AND HIGH TIDES what a song this u will love it
This was Billy at his absolute peak and with the brilliant Steve Stevens on guitar (no relation sadly...) Great stuff!
Billy has other "equally amazing" songs. Many are suggested in the comments.
This is a Punk Rock.
Blue Highway and Don’t Need a Gun by Billy are also amazing.
It does make us friends. It's great to share great music with each other! 💕
Guys could react to an iconic rock figure who was the genius who revolutionized rock with The Velvet Underground (sponsored by Andy Warhol). It was with this band, in New York, that marked a whole generation and influenced several others of listeners and musicians and guitarists-Lou Reed. Thanks guys.
Another one to try "Welcome to the Jungle"
Nice to see Christian Bale and Baker Mayfield love good music!
HIM did great cover of this song. Do you heard about HIM and Ville Valo? Please react to this band, they are incredible!
One of my favorite covers, I’ve loved HIM since I first discovered them because of Bam Margera with his skate tapes
80 the best
You need to listen to Hurriganes - Get on!
