Eyes Without A Face is a must
they reacted to Eyes Without... Oct 4, 2021
It’s definitely one of my favorites of the hundreds of great 80s songs!
@@surlechapeau
Thanks! I will look for it.
@@andrewpetik2034 you're welcome
Yes but they must know the context
Jay & Amber, you'll love his "Cradle Of Love" !!! (for your 7th Billy Idol song)
vote yes!
Yes! THIS! Next please.
Yes!!
Most definitely "Cradle of Love" next! You want steamy...get ready for a sauna! I think we all had a crush on Devon.
Yes!
Steve Steven's is an underrated beast on the guitar.
And was a very good friend of the late,But Great EVH.....
100%
Incredible guitarist and charismatic performer❤❤❤
And still performing with Billy Idol today!
ua-cam.com/video/IE8zZ7OGfto/v-deo.htmlsi=8QC7mQv8p9zXTDDK
And he's still playing with Billy Idol today. Gotta love that kind of long-standing partnership.
" Hot in the city" by Billy Idol 😊
Billy Idol will always get an immediate click from me! This song for me feels like a great middle ground of the 80's music vibe.
His song, Hot In the City is fun
Ugh, please no. Likely his worst track by far - overplayed and goofy!
I'm with you db. Billy's original sound before the label started molding his image.
@@Teraxx23come on, that was a super fun song! It might have been overplayed back then, but you almost never hear it now. As part of his overall catalog, I think it fit surprisingly well.
Billy Idol was so HUGE back in the day!
Cradle of love banger by Billy idol 🔥🔥🔥🔥 definitely worth a listen
For one moment in time Billy Idol was "it".
His name was on the charts over and over and over again! It was crazy. ✌️
Yep. And a pretty long moment, too....years.
He’s still “it” for me 😜😂
And you weren't? I remember being it when I was a kid. Eventually I ran and touched someone else and they of course consequently became it. Good times.
I saw him in concert last year - he (and Steve) are still it!
Steve Stevens (guitar) is responsible for a significant amount of the 'Billy Idol' sound - very under-rated but behind many iconic tunes - such as the original Top Gun anthem.
Steve Stevens, also released a single album, I remember a song/ video , called "atomic, play boys , or something like, that, that song and video would make a great reaction , video,!
Totally agree, Steve is an incredible guitar player. He and Billy have a synergy that makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts, I think. Just a great musical partnership for many decades, and I am so glad to still see them together, releasing new music, touring, and enjoying what they do so well.
@@alexrossi4464 Check out his album with Tony Levin (bass) and Terry Bozzio (Drums)
He also played on Michael Jackson’s’ Dirty Diana.
@@KimPalko Blistering guitar work on that one!
My FAVE Billy Idol song. Then EYES WITHOUT A FACE, HOT IN THE CITY,
WHITE WEDDING &
REBEL YELL.
I was so disappointed when I saw Billy Idol for the Cradle of Love Tour in the early 90s and they didn't play it 😢 Eyes Without A Face, that is.
Billy Idol - Cradle Of Love
Hot in the City is another good one from Billy Idol.
Eyes without a face , To be a lover , Man for all seasons , all great songs by Billy.
Cradle of Love is a banger.
Never in a million years did I think in the 80s that BFI would still be touring in 2024! Saw him last year and he is still great!!
Me too! Great tour last year, and he still has it!
Dancing with myself
He was in a band named Generation X and also has their version of dancing with myself I think that is the original version
He's got some many good songs...."Catch My Fall" is another good one
If you read his book, you can see how dark his life has really been. His idol was Elvis, so that's where his lip snarl comes in and his last name "Idol" was coined due to a chemistry teacher's description of Idol on his school report card as "idle". William Michael Albert Broad, known professionally as Billy Idol, is a British and American singer.
"Hot In The City" is another Billy Idol gem you should check out.
Absolutely!
Saw Billy Idol in 1984! Those were the good old days 💕
It was an incredible time, and a music era that is unmatched in originality, creativity, and was so innovative with sound! Groups like Depeche Mode, New Order, The Cure, and Pet Shop Boys are more modern-sounding than anything produced today.
Saw Idol outdoors in Indy in '84. Amazing...
Loved him in Wedding singer.🤛👊🤜👏👏👏
They need to watch that movie!! They'll get the music played and referenced in it, too. Besides it being freaking hilarious.
@@jenniferfoster1692 Yep!
Sweet Sixteen by him is very different. Excellent song.
Agrred. It's much softer - even when he flips us off! - and I think Amber in particular will like it a lot.
This song is a VIBE….Next to Rebel Yell.. the best Idol song!.. the bass line is sick 🤘🏾
I like it a lot, but for me my Top 2 Billy Idol songs are “Rebel Yell” and “Dancing with Myself”. But he’s got several I like a lot including “Flesh for Fantasy”.
That BASS! 🖖🏼
UPDATE: “Flesh for Fantasy” is in my Top 3 for Billy Idol songs. I hadn’t listened to it in awhile. I forgot just how AWESOME this song is.
@@wiltchamberlainisthegoat13 yeah, it's right on up there at the top.
BILLY IDOL: the "sexy-bad-boy" of the 80s.... WE LOVED HIM!! (Still do!!) GREAT SONG - REALLY LOUD in the nightclubs!! THANKS for the REACTION, YOU-GUYS!! HUGS!
Yes , Eyes without a face !!
This is yet another great song from Billy Idol!! It’s kind of dark, sexy, and mysterious. ❤
Excelent song, the whole album is great, Daytime Drama, Blue Highway, Eyes Without a Face, and Rebel Yell are masterpieces
Cradle of love and Hot in the city two more great music and Catch my fall really great songs!
Catch My Fall
Catch My Fall
Catch My Fall
Oh my goodness! Your next Billy Idol has to be To Be A Lover (the official music vid)!!!
OMG! This song is great. So are the memories. Billy was just awesome, so were the 80s. Great music, good fun times.
Billy is Rock and Roll Royalty 💪🏼👊🏼👍🏻!!!!
I forgot just how amazing his guitarist really was. That's GOAT-level 80s guitar-stylings, for sure!
Another great Billy Idol song!!❤❤❤ Eyes Without a Face and Cradle of Love!❤️
Catch my fall , blue highway , cradle of love ,Sweet 16
Good one.
Future suggestion: "Cradle of Love" 🤘😎
Man this brings me back to the early 80's! Another group and song you two might enjoy (especially J) from that same era is "Two Tribes" by Frankie Goes To Hollywood!
Yessssssss !!!!! He was my first concert st Astro world in Houston Texas 1983 ish summertime. He came out in a tiny white towel around his waist and a martini. The coolest thing ever 😎❤
He sang blue highway like that ! 😮
Oh Astroworld was so much fun!! Saw New Order & Erasure there, when I was a kid.
It was 1984, 'cuz I was there too!
All right my babies.... I had the privilege to see this awesome Rockstar in concert in 2008 and the band sounds just like the records ‼️💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Damn, I miss the 80’s. The music, culture, not so much the clothes. lol Love that snarling lip movement on Billy, too.
😮 great guitar licks by Steve Stevens😮
Always!
You'll love listening and rating, "Cradle of love" and "Dancing with myself"
When Mtv played music 🎶 ..
Great Song 😉✌️❤️
REMEMBER, MOST 80'S & 90'S ❤ HAD VIDEOS ON MTV.❤ BILLY HAS ALL GOOD ONES!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I remember when this video premiered on MTV. They always made a big deal about it whenever a new Billy Idol video came out. The VJ's really seemed to enjoy saying the name of this track, lol.
Bringing me back to watching Firday Night Videos and early MTV.
Over the last few years I've really to come to understand Steve Stevens greatness. What a monster player.
Next up for Billy: Eyes Without A Face, please (if you haven't listened/reacted to it already).
Already been done
Oooh, I clicked on this immediately!❤
TONE LOC - " WILD THING " 1980s classic JAMS you guys need to hear this COOL 🎸 SOUND VIBE it's Awesome 👍😎👍
One of his best songs
Billy is a great performer and a great character but he also has an amazing voice
"To Be A Lover" is an under-appreciated track from Billy Idol.
If he ever performs in concert near you, go see him. He still rocks live!
Back in '87 I worked for awhile as a bartender in a hotel bar called The Continental Club in Emporia, KS. I often covered for the regular DJ on weekends because he preferred to shmooze around, get plastered, and leave early for various college parties. The Continental Club was the upscale bar in town, lots of upper crust clientele. This is the song I used to lure these folks out onto the dance floor, opening like it does with its slow, cool vibe. When the song ramped up later, it was too late for my semi-inebriated victims... they were already on the floor and they didn't want to look like cowards by retreating back to their tables. Six or seven songs later, they were jumping around like a bunch of drunken teenagers. Ahhh, happy days. For your next Billy Idol song, "CRADLE OF LOVE" ua-cam.com/video/NCZuYS-9qaw/v-deo.html is a dandy. Nice pick today, guys!
1983❤ I was 17 when this came out. I live Billy Idol. Nobody is like him. Rock the crade of love is a good one.
Another great song from him is Mony Mony.
i don't think they remember they did Mony Mony already and made it one of their favorite songs
@@ASalvaro I couldn't remember if they'd already done it or not.
@@Emilaria its ok they didn't either i guess lol
WORE HIS HAIRCOLOR AND STYLE IN 80'S!!!👍🏼❤
I miss the eighties...Every decade has its treasures, but in the eighties we all knew we were treasures.
Love some Billy Idol, his version of LA Woman is a banger!
I always thought that this song is Billy Idol's best
A couple of underrated Billy Idol gems are - Blue Highway and Eyes Without A Face.
My Jam 😂
This is on my top 10 Billy Idol playlist every time. The acoustic is also good.
Billy's guitarist Steve Stevens plays on "Dirty Diana" by Michael Jackson and is also in the music video.
My Fav by him is Eyes Without a Face, which You Guys have done. More Billy Idol anytime. :)
This is my all-time favorite Billy Idol song!
Love Billy Idol, cradle of love, eyes without a face, White wedding, rebel yell, and even on his newest album the song ‘bitter taste” is awesome.
Oooh, Jay and Amber. One of my favorite Billy Idol tunes. Next you should listen to Hot In The City! It’s a jam!
My favorite Billy Idol song.
He stormed onto the music scene with his nasty attire and sexy voice and filled every dance floor in town.
Hot in the City is one you surely will love.
I think y'all would love Billy Idol's "Don't need a gun"... all the extremes you like in his voice, plus some of the best guitar work. A nice Banger!
Billy's music is always so interesting! I appreciate it more now than when it came out when I was a kid in the 80s.
Billy Idol is a badass punk! An originator. Still no others like him. Rebel Yell is proof. And that lip is a nod to my boyfriend Elvis. Any Elvis managould have some bad boy in him.
~Red
Thank you ROB squad for giving me my memories of my dirty 80s
'HOT IN THE CITY' - Billy Idol is 🔥
Love Billy Idol, saw him live last year and he's still got that appeal. Cradle of Love is my favourite along with Eyes without a face and Dancing with myself
Agree with those below on Cradle of Love, another huge rocking one. I’d really suggest at some point hearing Bitter Taste. Cradle of Love was right after his motorcycle crash, while Bitter Taste is just about a year old and is about that crash. He still sounds great!
billy idol one coolest guys ever in this world this one my favorites of his here takes me back to the 1980's with was so good to listen and hear.
CRADLE OF LOVE!!! You guys will totally dig it!!!
The guitarist( Steve Stevens) is one of the most uderrated shredders in the industry.
Jay and Amber it's hard to remember which BIlly Idol songs youve done without looking back. I loved this song. Another good one to check out is cradle of love.
Got to be a lover is one of Billy's best. I know the Robsquad crew will love it
Great song. Probably my 2nd favourite songs by Billy Idol.
I looooooove Billy Idol! I saw him live like 25 years ago. Still got “it.” Yum
One of my favourite Idol's songs! Idol/Stevens, great mixed! I LOVE IT!
"The Blues Before and After "....The Smithereens.. ...OH YESSSS
They have a long list of great songs...Just a really great band out of New Jersey.
The Smithereens are list in the New Jersey music Hall of Fame....
Cradle of love, hot in the city are other great jams from Billy but this is another jam as well.
Billy Idol...'Catch my fall'.
"Cradle of Love" is good, but I think you would like "To Be A Lover." Don't let the name fool you, it's a banger! "Blue Highway," is another rocker.
Yes, Blue Highway. Been ages since I heard that one anywhere.
The English Beat - Save It For Later (Official)
He's sending it up. When he sings he literally cannot keep a straight face
Haven't heard this in about 40 years. Where has all the time gone?
You guys are hitting the Billy's today.
This is one of my favorites from Billy Idol. Along with his tune, "To Be A Lover"...
I became a Billy Idol fan when I heard Hot in the City. Flesh for Fantasy is one of my favorites. ❤
Classical Idol '80 track hit mixed punk heavy rock and pop vibes now is energetic old guy .
One of his best.
Billy Idol's music is incredibly sexy and seductive. Takes me back to junior high days and early MTV. He's got so many hits from both the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. He still tours and I've had the pleasure of seeing him twice in concert most recently in 2016 in Vegas and he looked and sounded great!!! Y'all should also check out "To Be A Lover", It's got a killer guitar riff and soulful backing vocals.
Billy Idol- "Cradle Of Love". and "Eyes Without A Face". Go for both of them...
