Dent repair turned out better than I thought it would! Kudos to your man. As always, it is a pleasure keeping up with your projects and your sick skills! Keep it up Austin! Philippians 1:2!
When the truck is done, take it to a Toyota Dealer and get and oil change done on it and see the reaction of the tech's. Great job on the Taco, its starting to get there. I know there is still a lot to do on it but it is coming along!
I am getting my BHW w/ XMAN 1856 turbo tuned tomorrow morning. 2005 Passat Wagon 5-speed swap, deleted, buzzkin catless downpipe. Very excited. Hoping to get a little more power back down low because the turbo swap made it a bit of a dog....more than I expected lol. But top end is great, and with my commute, that's where i needed it. Thanks for the XMAN turbo recommendation. And thanks for your Diesel purge video too. That's getting done as we speak.
That's really good to hear. I'm running my skinny winter wheels....195/15's. So, I'm hoping traction doesn't hold back the tuning process, because I don't have an LSD installed yet 😬
Quick tip. When I made my custom grill for my 99 Tacoma I had an OEM chrome grill. If you spray oven cleaner on the chrome and let it sit for about 2 hours the chrome will bubble and flake off.
WAY better than the stock grille, I've never liked the grilles on those years of trucks. The work the PDR shop did is sure going to save you a lot of time. I like the grille emblem, I've seen one on a neighbor's Toyota, I'm going to get the yellow/orange/red one for my Toyota solid axle swapped Ranger (I did paint my old 82 Toy blue and white with the triple stripe across the door and fender.)
Grill really does look just right on the truck, good job . doors look likely consume fair bit of effort get right, final color choice going effect how easily any tiny imperfections might show . Delivery times and material costs suck at the moment . Lets hope situation improves rather than get worse :-/
Another great video. You need to get one of the DeWalt oscillating tools you can cut sand all kinds of different things with it it would work fantastic cutting plastic and it won't melt the plastic.
Astin the dewalt is model DCS356B only recomending because you already have dewalt cordless tools there are better ones out there but by sticking with the same platform it will be cheaper. This type of tool works great on plastic, cuts and sands.
Nice work as usual. If I may ask? How is your brother doing? Hope things are going well for him and happy New year to you.A little late but have been busy.Waiting on your next video over here in Yakima.
hey Austin. you should really use a plastic repair filler that has a little bit of flex to it for plastics. also when you do the body work on the Taco id recommend evercoat rage ultra body filler, good body fillers save time and sand a lot faster. been a bodyman and painter for 15 years now.
What is up Austin Niemela? Welcome back to my phone, another excellent video today, your creativity is inspiring! And the execution flawless! Keep em coming!
Do you remember your psi settings to get that finer texture? Later on down the line, plan is to raptor my 80 series but want that smoother texture.. Thanks! Keep up the great content.
@@austinniemela Let do a custom reptor paint on the mini truck then try a two tune black and dessert reptor Or a candy red like the big boy truck Lets go 😎😎😎
Austin do you sleep at night are lay awake coming up with ideas for your vehicles!, LO.L. truck body work looks great can't wait to see what you do with it. Love the grill and the old school emblem.
I'm surprised you didn't just go with the widened fibreglass fenders and bedsides. I don't think they're crazy expensive, my buddy did it on his double cab.
Man, that guy did a great job on the dent repairs. Thanks for the consistent good content.
Thanks for watching!
👍👍👍 on the plastic chrome delete. You are a gentleman with fine, exquisite taste.
I love Toyota trucks too!!!! I'm so impressed with ur skills!!!

Cement grey, blacked out would be sweet. Great build Austin

Thanks for all the tips man. You make life so much easier!!!
Looks GREAT👍🏻🥳
Grill looks 🔥. So, you are going back OEM green on the paint?
Yes staying green!
This was perfect timing! Thanks.

Excellent tip sir thank you for that. My last name is also Brown. I would expect nothing less from a Brown! 😁
Nice thanks man i have a chrome armada grill ive been wanting to paint
I did not know this. Will give it a try and report back. 👍🏻
Yota truck is looking good

I’ve never used one of those tools! I might look into one
@@austinniemela skip the dewalt. Plastic gears strip out. I’d go makita or Bosch see quite a few cabinet makers use them over the dewalt.

I bought some evercoat z grip, a few people suggested that!
