Looks great Austin, I'm like alot of people, those headlights need alitte attention, but that's not your fault. That's just age, but I know you've probably got a game plan for those up your sleeve. Excited about the lift, wheels and tires to go on next. I always look forward to your videos to see what you do next! Keep up the great work!
This really is a new truck. New engine, new paint job, new electronics. Seriously Austin this truck looks amazing. I look forward to seeing the lift and wheels and tires. Great job man.
It's a brand new truck again wow looks great man the amount of work you have put on this thing , the countless hours from the engine swap to transmission swap and the awesome paint job that you just did. hats off to you sir , the attention to detail is second to none I've been following this build for months now and this thing came a long way it's perfection by all means 💪🙏👍👍
Love the built. Only thing that always bugging me about the truck is the headlights. To bad they didn’t make it into glass headlights like the 99rav4 limited addition. Maybe you can, since you have all the tools you need. 🤙🏼
Austin, you did a phenomenal job on this build. Been watching this series since episode 1. I love your attention to detail and craftsmanship. Can't wait to see it completely finished!
Beautiful truck! Every time I think you are finished...along comes a cerakote job. LOL! You put many hard hours into that truck and it sure has paid off Austin. Excellent job!
Cerakote is amazing stuff. The plastic cowl at the windshield fades so fast on these trucks, Cerakote makes them look new for a year or better. Your truck looks amazing, better than anything OEM.
While putting the truck together you should get a lot of wax cans and spray them into every hole and accessable body panel, frame etc. This will help a lot to keep it rust free as long as possible...
I have to say that is your best work yet! Damn! It looks new! I can't wait to see it lifted! I am begging you not to put bigger than 16", 17 at the most rims on it! Pleeese! lol I have an 06 F 150 that has right at 100k on it that has been garaged all its life and really just used to haul a boat to the lake. It has a leveling kit and 32 11.50s on it and still looks new. I am tempted to pull the engine and put the Melling oil pump and upgraded cam phasers in it. It runs fine and no problems other than a cracked manifold. Maybe I should just put stainless headers on it for now. I'm going TODAY and buying that plastic restorer! Keep up the excellent work, I'll gladly keep watching!
I love your attention to detail. Using the tape on the windscreen to locate the mirror mount was genius. I would have given it my best ‘that looks about right’ and cursed every time I looked at the crooked mirror.
I have that rear view mirror in my 07 silverado and boy is that nice when im driving to work in the morning and not having people lights shining in my face from the rear view
Dude you need to put a subtle AVR on the retro stripes on the grill. It deserves it for how much work you have done. Kinda an Easter egg for Toyota lovers.
Excellent work, I love the detail of the interior mirror, I hope to see the new tires that you will put on it, I do not say that they will be fantastic, and your personal stamp is missing with the front iron bumper, good friend greetings from Italy
I have an ‘04 double cab and think the proportions, lines, design, and stance is beautiful and even better than the second generation. Only the current model is nicer, however not as comfortable. It may the best engineered and designed truck ever made. Now that 200” long mini pickups are becoming all the rage, the first generation Tacomas will get even more attention. Get one while you can still afford to. What other classic cars can you reliably drive and use daily, affordably maintain, and have it increase in value?
Awesome work as always, can't wait what other updates you make on it! You might already know this but there it looks like your hood seal is missing. It will fill the gap between your hood and the grill and prevent dust and bugs from getting in. Keep up the great work!
The cerakote stuff is amazing! I’ve used it on both my Tacoma, Hilux and going to be using them on my new land cruiser prado I just bought. You should try out their headlight repair kit and it makes them look brand new again. Super clean build!
It looks really good Austin! It's the little things sometimes, lm sure your going to polish? Or wet wipe and seal the headlights, to give it that new look too. Good on you, perseverance has helped you finish the body and paint work to a professional level. It will look awesome with new wheels and tires. ✌🏻👍❄🌧🥶🇨🇦👨🦽😎.
Great work man! Take that Rupes after those headlight lenses and then ceramic coat them afterwards. Get a bottle of Armor Shield ceramic coating for odds and ends around the vehicle. It's great stuff for the money. About $60 for a bottle and closer to $40 on sale. You can coat everything but the rubber on the truck with it, window trim, even the glass.
I really love this channel and your skills and work ethic is definitely on point I learn alot with u and always something in each video . My fav built look wise is the runner , but also love the jetta and the red truck is something special but again this one is turning from okay to amazing with all the work , really cool u tinted the windows on a light tint and that tail lights are amazing really nice pick .
the new lights and grill really make the difference, once headlights turn up it be perfectly balanced look . cerakote looks useful dressing for old plastic, will have give it a try . Paint looks great, nice color look at but not as the bodyshop guy shooting it lol .
Have been following this since the start and it’s been great to follow along. The finished product looks great and my only two unsolicited suggestions would be to color match the chrome on the bumpers and sand and clear or replace the headlights.
Good work! Got a lot done! Looking forward to seeing what else you do to this truck. Definitely could use some better headlamps, wheels/tires, maybe some interior upgrades/mods, and bumpers. I am sure you already have plans for those though
Mate you do some good work that Taco looks so good. 10/10 Also I love how easy Toyota’s are to work on everything just works. PS Diesel is currently at $8.31 gallon in Australia, how much in your neck of the wood.
Your effort shows. Cant wait to see your wheel/lift combo

Austin, I bought the same taillights for my '03 Tacoma. Thanks for the instruction on how to add the sixth pin. Worked perfectly!!

Gorgeous! That green is my absolute “go to” favorite color!!
Great job!!

I just like that Toyota Metallic Green, absolutely top notch.
Hardest working dude on UA-cam
It’s absolutely insane that you know how to do all the stuff in your builds. Amazing work man.
Thank you!!!
I love your attention to detail. Using the tape on the windscreen to locate the mirror mount was genius. I would have given it my best ‘that looks about right’ and cursed every time I looked at the crooked mirror.
😂😂 a crooked mirror is no fun!
I have that rear view mirror in my 07 silverado and boy is that nice when im driving to work in the morning and not having people lights shining in my face from the rear view
Amazing Job.
Love to see those wheels black, but you have worked hard enough!
They have that same rearview mirror with a built in display for a backup camera. It’s a nice OEM solution.
Wow amazing bro! From how this truck was b4 you started till now there is such a big difference. Awesome work! 🍒🤙🏽
The mirror retrofit is sick!
Wow love the build and that truck looks gorgeous great job now just replace those headlights and it will be perfect.
Literally can do everything. Just found your channel. Awesome content.
Dude you need to put a subtle AVR on the retro stripes on the grill. It deserves it for how much work you have done. Kinda an Easter egg for Toyota lovers.
I am the opposite, I love the bubble lights from the 01-04 lol I put them on every Tacoma I buy from 1996-04
The paint job looks fantastic can’t wait to see Final cut and buff
This is beautiful!!! Can't wait to see it with new headlights and wheels. Great work!!!
New headlights and wheels and it’s complete? Love the look of the truck.
A few other things as well!
What a nice little rig! Great job as always! Thumbs up!
The truck is looking cool now. Awesome job
Thank you!!
Man . I love your works , you made things look so easy. 👍👍👍
If the creakote works on window trim, you should give it a coat to freshen it up. Great job on the paint work, looks amazing.
Great work, I'm really looking forward to your next projects.
Greetings from Germany.
😀👍🇩🇪➡️🇺🇸
That mirror is a nice simple upgrade. I’ll have to look into that for my vehicle.
Love love love it!!!!!!!! Needs you special bumpers
Such a nice truck turned out amazing!! I had to tuck my self up one the other day. Soon will start to build mine up. Keep up the hard work
You should use your rules polisher, compound and polish to give the chrome a nice look, just a suggestion
I have 2003 Toyota Tacoma I like to do same like you truck how much money you spent nice project I love
Excellent work, I love the detail of the interior mirror, I hope to see the new tires that you will put on it, I do not say that they will be fantastic, and your personal stamp is missing with the front iron bumper, good friend greetings from Italy
Needs the head lamps polished to match all the work you done on it great work 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏

Looks good, next step is to black it out - grill, bumpers, windows, rims and different headlights. Can wait to see the end product!
You continue to impress Austin!
Super sick to see you turn this one out man. You did one killer job on it🤘🏼
Thanks!
Awesome work as always, can't wait what other updates you make on it! You might already know this but there it looks like your hood seal is missing. It will fill the gap between your hood and the grill and prevent dust and bugs from getting in. Keep up the great work!
Yes! Honestly I put that seal in but I didn’t like it!
Man, this truck would look good with some home made AWR-Bumpers👌🏻
Love this built only headlights needs a good buff and Polish
Amazing work as usual! Such great attention to detail!
Thank you!
The cerakote stuff is amazing! I’ve used it on both my Tacoma, Hilux and going to be using them on my new land cruiser prado I just bought. You should try out their headlight repair kit and it makes them look brand new again. Super clean build!

this turned out amazing. good job
Bravo... Great looking truck...very nice job. I know you still have a few more "wow factor " mods yet. But it is a great looking truck. 😎👍
You’ll probably end up doing a bumper on this truck.. but in the event you don’t, I think painting it green would look really nice.

Nice job, hopping that you are doing something with those headlights 🙂

Thats a resistor for the LED tail lights
@@austinniemela and that came with the tail light kit?
@@girthmitegavin yes
Really nice job 👍
We should race when you're finished, Mine is a stock 03, identical. I wonder what the diesel with a 5 speed compares to the 3.4 with auto.
Mate you do some good work that Taco looks so good. 10/10
Also I love how easy Toyota’s are to work on everything just works.
PS Diesel is currently at $8.31 gallon in Australia, how much in your neck of the wood.
5.89 in Oregon
@@nathankoroush7918 Aussie for the win!!
amazing work
Looks great!
might you consider a backup camera for this truck?
Looks great man! Only comment I have is replacing the stock speakers?! Really! 😆
I’m from Houston Texas
Wooow that's sick awesome kool toyota tacoma
Awesome job on the Tacoma! Sell those stock tail light lenses on ebay, band new they are about $80.00 each. Where did you get the new tail's from?
I got my new ones on eBay!
Can't wait to see what's next!
Are you going to do anything with the bumpers?
Yes it will get custom bumpers
You should have shown fitting the hood.
The passenger headlight lens doesn't look as clear as the driver's side. Illusion?
May I please have the link to the tail lights
