The design of Tata Indica was great..At that time the hatchbacks in India were 800 and zen which were smaller as compared to Indica..But the thing that backfired was quality control which Tata failed miserably.There were serious engine overheating issues in most Indicas and that led to the downfall of Indica and future models based on that didn't worked as well..Only after the arrival of fiat multijet in Vista Tata garnered some momentum in hatchbacks..

i dont know how many times i watch this video. i was a great fan of safari from the school days.. never thought i could own one. my cousin had one 3 litre dicor. i used to roam around with it . sometimes with my father. i asked my father " when are we buying one of this ??!! " he told me he is just a govt employ. couldn't dream for taking it. kept the dream along with my heart. worked very hard. but when i bought a 3 l dicor. he wasn't there anymore to see . gone to his tomb and said " papa .. i bought it.. " . the safari is still with me for my family long drives , our trips to my new farm and also had a great memories . yes.. for me it's an emotion. tata safari ..

Miss aya കുറച്ചു കാര്യം കൂടെ ഉണ്ട്..2.2 സഫാരി length കുറവ് ആണ്, rear portion cut ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്, അതു weight savingnu വേണ്ടിയാണു 150kg weight shave ചെയ്തു vandyil നിന്നു.. Funny thing പല കാര്യങ്ങൾ add ചെയ്തു ആ weight saving nullify ആയി.
അതുപോലെ first models suspension notoriously delicated ആയിരുന്നു.
ഇഷ്ടപെട്ടിലങ്കിലും സഫാരി and its platform ഒരു എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് failure ആയിരുന്നു..
പിന്നീട് ഉള്ള models സഫാരി അതിന്റെ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് updation ആയിരുന്നു വരുത്തിയിരുന്നത്.
ഇതിന്റെ suspension reliable ആക്കാൻ tata കുറച്ചു ഒന്നുമല്ല വിയർത്തത്
2006 to 2013 safari 3L dicor use cheythu, 145000kms odichu. Pinne storme from 2013 to 2017, athum oru 50000kms odichu...storme was a better handler but 3L dicor was undoubtedly the comfy cruiser...love the safaris...

@@kunhippamp11lite26 3L is a very relaxed mile muncher on highways with a low revving engine (max 4500rpm) but very crude as it is derived from the tata 407 engine block added with a delphi supplied common rail direct injection set up. It is very vocal too. Also the dicor has a torsion beam set up in the front which lowers as time passes by. You can see some dicors front bumper about to kiss the road. Dicor has a very soft suspension so it handles like a very lazy boat.
Storme is built on an all new X2 platform with a more rigid suspension and a better responding engine. It is more planted around the corners as it uses a double mac pearson struts in the front and not a torsion beam. Also it comes with all 4 wheel disc brakes providing better braking power. But the 2.2L engine is a bit strained for a vehicle of that weight. As motor heads say there is no replacement for displacement.
Overall storme varicor 140 or varicor 400 will be the right choices. Varicor 400 is no doubt a beast with a softer self adjusting clutch, improved all black sporty interiors and much more.

Hi guys I'm very interested with you that you guys only said the correct term of plastic parts used in vehicles "injunction moulding" Boz I'm in that moulding field but all of our vehicle vloggers were used the term "fiber parts" actually fiber is no more from the vehicle field. I don't know why this vloggers are using that term.mallus should improve the technical knowledge.now a days in vehicles using only plastic injunction moulding parts.example all the parts in interior door pad,dasbord nillon 6 or nillon 66 plastic material & exterior ABS( Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)material may use and combination different plastic materials. So plz vloggers plz avoid the term"fiber"from vehicle field "thank you"

I still remember witnessing the safari second generation for the first time , I was in 1st standard then, exactly 11 yrs ago, till that day the sumo used to me my favorite , I saw this legend lying in front of my father's office(it was the dist collector's)it was my second love at first sight (1st sumo) 5 yr old me used to dream driving that car. Well I got a chance to go for a drive in that car, not chill drive though , it was day before before election and due to some reason I was there in the office with my father , ultra naughty me got hit on corner of a office wall and wounded my forehead (I still have that mark ) after a quick first aid , I got back home in this legend 😁😁😁🤟. My happiness at that moment still, is something out of this world
