In this sense dancehall artists who sing these lyrics are enemies of their own family, friends and communities. They truly know better but corrupt their fans for the money. Having grown up poor it is understandable that they do this, but still results in an act of mental violence against their own friends, family and community.
Word on the street is that Laban took the fall for a gun found in a car with Tosh,. Tosh apparently promised to take care of him after he came out of prison but did not do so. Laban was was upset and took revenge by killing Tosh September 11.
