Accessories wise you can actually order it with a new and improved cable that seems nice and not for a lot more money than with the standard one. A case and better tips are mandatory at this price though. I don't mind it not standing out in any other way as i think that would reflect in the price and it's not essential for me. Other cca/ kzs i have fit nice and are well built (even though they're kind of big) so no biggies there. I guess i'll try the treble head tuning with foam tips. That should smooth things out a bit and make it a close to neutral sounding/ mild v shape kind of affair that suits my liking better.
thanks for the honest comparisons... (I was scared by the the fact that there was another youtuber who only compared it with Cadenza 4, xenns top, Variations, Hype 2 and 4).. This means that Hydro is at the level of sets of the same value with less ba's instead of 300 - 500 usd
While I think the Hydro is a wonderful IEM and the best that CCA has made, I still think it's a long way to compete with midrangers, especially in the value department.

Hello Bro KZ Symphony VS CCA Hydro Which iem between these two has better sound quality and can give sensational experience when we are watching Action Movies ?
If I find the 8k peak on the CRA fatiguing, do you think I would also find the hydro fatiguing? For reference, I don’t think the zs10 pro 2 is fatiguing. Maybe I can handle the treble of BAs better
From memory, these are wider than the ZAR. As for it sounding better, I'd say that it depends because the ZAR is more detailed but more fatiguing while the Hydro is cleaner, more mature and more coherent
I get a bit confused with the explnations on switches and how they're represented in squig link... It's even harder because they're not simetrical when using them. You have the "On" direction and the numbers (1,2,3,4) direction on the switches themselves. Which correspondes to "U" and "D"? Just to be sure.
I'm loving mine. Throw away those foam tips and use some short wide bore spinfit tips. With foam the vocals are way too recessed and the bass is bloaty. After, very deep and detailed bass and vocals are slightly behind the bass but still a very natural timbre
Yes, agreed. I am using a medium-sized silicone tip with wide bore and a rigid internal core. I typically use a larger tip, but this medium gives me good seal, deeper insertion, and still retains long-listening comfort. Given the size of this IEM, the deeper insertion maximizes isolation while preventing the face of the IEM from protruding too far outside of my ear. It made a BIG difference and I find the Hydro is an exceptional hybrid by any standard...and a steal at the US$103 price point (incl. upgraded cable). If you can wait until 11.11, then the price/performance will be off the charts.
Its not the best iem, its the best cable. I tried that cable and it makes my wan er sound 4k, like it shows you what your iems are actually capable of. This has a technicall explanation and its not placebo, since this cables have a 0.11 resistance, wich is the lower posible.

Accessories could be better but its a good starting step for KZ/CCA
Agreed!

Do they have wider range and sound better than KZ ZAR? How much % better?

@@obodioreviews Oo alright. Thank you for the reply. I was looking for a huge difference, at this price range. Better wait for something new.
