I think ruby should rename it to halo ce reforged. The reason it’s called rebalanced is because it’s a remake of a old mod that just balanced the sandbox but didn’t add cut weapons and new areas. The mod was remade after 343 made new mod tools for mcc.
And it's only gonna get better once Ruby releases Halo 2 Rebalanced. His mods before official mod support were already goated and now their just god tier. He doesn't just put things from later games in lazily like some other mods do, he actually works with his team to make the models and textures look like they belong in CE, and he adds new content in natural ways. H2R is going to fix the Legendary difficulty and that's what I'm gonna play first. I'm especially looking forward to Halo 3 and ODST in his style.
I actually saw his video on how he bought back the CE health system in his efforts rebalance the difficulty, and lemme just say that his montage of Vanilla Legendary deaths couldn't have been funnier and his efforts to fix it couldn't have been more ingenious.
I finished it on legendary and I personally the best part of the rebalanced was two betrayals when I went back to the control room to help the Marines Evac and they dropped off a Tank to help out for the rest of the level so badass.
or just all of Halo 5's campaign. I can't even remember a single one. At least a bad level sticks in your brain. I'll take a playlist of The Library, Gravemind, Cortana, Coastal Highway, Long Night of Solace, and that Halo 4 Pelican level on LASO before I ever touch Halo 5 again.
As someone who unironically loves Halo 4, I'd have to agree that "Shutdown" is easily that game at its worst and a solid contender for "Worst level in the series". The fact that it's sandwiched between the best levels of that game "Reclaimer" and "Composer", makes "Shutdown" and its monotonous cheap Promethean encounters stick out like a sore thumb even more. However, "Cortana" from Halo 3, where the Chief makes a rescue mission to the wrecked High Charity for Cortana, is probably the ultimate bollock-lord of shit mountain. "The Library" 2.0 and somehow even longer and more painful than its predecessor. And Halo 5? We don't talk about that game. The entire game was the series at its worst in terms of campaign design and story, and it's no wonder 343i killed off its main antagonist off-screen to do a soft reboot in Infinite.
There’s a mod called Halo 3: Combat Evolved created by Kashiiera it is HEAVILY work in progress, bugs, issues and missing content is to be expected. She is the only person working on this mod currently and remaking all levels from Combat Evolved, polishing them, ai placement, scripting and more takes a huge amount of her time so there is bound to be issues she overlook during development! Because the mod utilizes the Halo 3 ODST engine, you can play through Halo: Combat Evolved's campaign with up to 4 players in online Co-Op. A few select cutscenes have also been modified to account for the increased player count. While she wanted the mod to stay as close as possible to Combat Evolved, kashiiera eventually made the decision to introduce cut content from Combat Evolved as well as a few custom (non intrusive) encounters to spice up the campaign and give it a fresh coat of paint. Cut content such as encounters, scripts, items and set pieces have been re-added.
Legendary actually unlocks a ton of Easter Eggs, Bonuses and all that in this mod, So give it a try sometime!~ Everything from a rocket launcher on the pillar of autumn, To a firefight styled mini-mission side-quest in two betrayals, Its super fun.
The Library was the best level though. People are just cowards. It gave the game weight and made you feel the pressure of wasting resources. A real struggle for combat. It's the single best level in any Halo game.
"People are just cowards." OR MAYBE WE HATE SHIT GAME DESIGN AND HALO TRYING TO BE SOMETHING THAT IT'S NOT. (in this case, a swarm shooter a la Serious Sam and Painkiller)
"Rebalanced" is a bit of an understatement. I feel like "Halo CE Plus" feels a bit more appropriate, if that's not already taken.

Nothing can beat cursed halo tho 😂
Playing through the mod now and I’m excited for reaching this level.
The Library always was awesome. Not many levels in gaming history have quite transmitted despair like the Library did. This mod looks awesome though.
The original Library definitely makes you fear the flood! This version just has better pacing and variety :)
Amazing atmosphere doesn't always translate to fun gameplay.
@@KnoxCarbon It wasn't supposed to be fun. Despair isn't fun.
Would love to see more of your impressions of this mod
This mod definitely needs more publicity. I think the name of the mod honestly is what puts people off the most about it (ie. it's not "catchy")

Any idea on a release date?
@@johnthehunter1418 H2R is about 70% with enough luck it might release at the end of this year

Am I the only one who enjoys The Library and hates Two betrayals instead? Also, Halo's worst mission ever is that Pelican Level in Halo 4.

That sounds awesome!! Thanks for the recommendation I’ll definitely have to check it out

That's so cool! I was wondering why there was rocket launcher ammo laying around in the first level when I couldn't find one...
Bro some of the things like the trap with all the supplies looks awesome! But sadly I don’t have a pc so I don’t think I’ll be doing a mod
Have you played Cursed Halo? That kid also fixes this level
It was perfect at release. Library enjoyers rise up
It is my favorite level in all of Halo, it captures the Alien vibes well that the game originally had a lot of as it was a big inspo
