The fact that the breakdown after the BLEGH is so short hurts my soul!
Exactly! That's the only thing I don't like about the song. Other than that I love everything!
getting a Solid is already a win for me (and brett) SO A DELICIOUS is a big win!!! this song is one of my favorite out of the whole album, such a banger. the callouts from the previous slaughterhouse song just gives me goosebumps! the little pauses in the middle of the song to let it breathe makes it hits so much harder. Another successful exposure therapy session
Sit & Mourn is my favorite from the album so far. Black Metal meets Hardcore. So atmospheric and very different for Knocked Loose. A little Permanent 2. Love it ❤
I was in the same place on first listen. Really solid song but didn’t know if it was great. It’s grown on me after a few listens though!
It is fascinating. Great song.
Knocked Loose putting a click track sample before a breakdown is the most Knocked Loose thing ever.
Go check out laugh tracks from them. Vocals were different then and used Isaac a lot for the “bouncing off” definitely one of those albums that’s a 10/10
Can you react to Dragon by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard? It’s a thrash/metal song. It’s a little bit similar to Tool.
I actually think I have been transformed.
I honestly just find this band so samey. Every song has the same pitch and scream vocal style, super boring for me personally.
I would agree on the vocals, I think the different mapping of vocals to instrumentation is what keeps it interesting.
