Thanks for the tutorial! I have BoB: Screaming Eagles and have just played through the intro scenario twice, and this video has shown me the streamlined rules for the system. Now I need to play it more!
Wow, relax! The intro was great and the discussion on play was succinct. I enjoyed every second of this video. Do more like this one. Maybe a brief play on some of your current favorite war games?
I enjoyed the overview, but I feel like this was missing the review section. I'm fairly certain they liked it, but some pros and cons would have been nice.
The intro and the review happen. Judd says it's his fav ww2 tactical system. We cover a few details and the the closer look. A didn't think we needed to come back to us again at the end. I know its a little different way of doing it but I got tired of sandwiching the gameplay run through in the middle. Sometimes I only want to see a run through and sometimes I only want to hear the reviewers opinion. If this way of doing it is hated I'll return to the standard format.
I might actually try this game if it weren't for the atrocious counter design. When are these designers going to realize that watermarks provide nothing, and just make the counters harder to read. Look at 7:05. The '5' takes a careful look, partially from the poor font choice, but mostly from the watermark.
