its a fine commuter car but thats it. if you want to do real power the you NEED to address the clutch+headgasket rear sway bar should be your first mod- makes the car more lively (as should be for any other fwd) acuity shfiter cable bushings+mtf change also do wonders tbh beyond the swaybar and some shifter mods and a tune to tune out the rev hang i would not invest much more money into an FE1 the car is kinda expensive and id much rather save up for a CPO DE5 Type S or FL5 Type R (which can be had at MSRP if you look)
I've got mostly PRL parts on my 23 Si. Also did the first 25 Si full digital cluster swap in the world. Still need a bunch of stuff. Doing ARP head studs this weekend and clutch diaphragm delete as well. Custom tune and all my parts are currently pushing 223 hp and 262 ft/lb on stock turbo. They just released Saenz con rods for the L15CA as well. The Remark twin loop is one of the best exhausts for the 11th.
My 24 si is pretty much stock as of right now it has , full tint , all weather floor mats , prl stage 1 intake and prl res delete , oem mud guards , rgb floor sill lights , rs style side skirts and rs front lip and I smoked out the rear bumper reflectors I love this car hopefully lowering springs and tuner soon
Never thought I'd see the day where someone puts their input on a daily commuter of a car I've been dying to get it modded. It's not fast per se but I like the sleek look to the 11th gen Civic.
@@BuckingBuffBuck thats interesting because i had the DE4 Integra A spec, which is the same car mechanically, and turning off auto rev match did nothing for rev hang
@@ShaiyanHossain that's weird I would expect it to do the same, I'm sure there are differences but the engine management is not one that I would expect to be different.
Fun fact: the Si doesnt have tpms sensors. So nothing to buy for it. Just get wheel and tires and perform tpms calibration on your infotainment screen to prevent the low tire light from comin on.
@ShaiyanHossain intresting. I do know in the US, on the acura side, they still have sensors on their vehicles but honda got rid of the sensors on the civics (except typeR) crv, accords and hrv. Only the big vehicles still have sensors
@@Kuro.X i have a type R now, and nope, no in wheel tpms on it either. still the other kind of sensor. funnily enough, the Integra Type R has the in wheel tpms sensors too
@@HaLfDeaDCaLi for starters he mentioned rev hang. Yes this is an issue but it’s honestly not anything crazy like he exaggerated. It can be eliminated with Ktuner which if you ask any Si owner is what you should use to tune the car. Hondata is better for the Type R. With that being said the cheap Ktuner is $450 and the expensive one is $650 that’s significantly cheaper than the Hondata. The mods is the next thing. There are plenty of other brands that should’ve been recommended(PRL 27Won PLM Injen etc.) that are far better than the K&N CAI. A Tune, PRL cobra intake intercooler and exhaust can easily boost you to around 250hp. With more hp comes the actual weak point of the car which is the clutch and that was never mentioned. These cars are great stock but add more power and the clutches can’t handle it. There is also a possibility of headbolt stretching because the headbolt’s suck on the 10th and 11th gen civics. This is another thing that should’ve been mentioned because if the head stretches you blow the head gasket. Upgrading your head bolts early on can prevent this. And finally the wheels sizes he mentioned are ok but most owners run 18x9.5 with 255/35. And before it’s asked yes I do own an Si I’ve had it for 3 years now.
A lot of stuff on the video was wrong plus you can easily make 249whp stock on the si with just the Phearable R tube only thing you’ll need to upgrade is the clutch that’s it
@ShaiyanHossain Barring its hideous design and lackluster aftermarket support. Sure, best bang for your buck if you know nothing about cars and refuse to buy used.
@@unforeseen9267 its hideous to me too but the performance out of the box is a lot faster than si unless you spend money, void warranties, and potentially blow up clutch/headgasket on an Si just to keep up with a stock N. Not everyone wants to extract big hp from their car...

Kind of stupid point you’re trying to make. Why would you get a type r if you could save some more money and get a Ferrari? Theres always something better.

YESSSS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!
Definitely need to mention acuity stage shift kits! Absolute game changer
Can you do a video on the 7th gen Si?
We might just have to!
I totaled mine, very happy about that.
Why u happy about it? Did u not like the car?
holy shit was not expecting a runescape reference here, level 3 skiller, i know the pains of rev hang in gielinor
Please do Z3/Z4 video next !!!
First!
P.S. Alex I saw you a FD Last year but didn't get to say "Hi" as you were in the middle of a filming the guy with the blue Datsun... So Hi 👋
HELLO!
The rev hang in the video at 1:29 sounds over exaggerated. Sounds like the kid shifting is holding in the clutch way too long before the next shift.
10th Gen Si. Enkei T6R 18x8.5, +38 with Continental DWS06, Eibach lowering springs = Chaching, Money, Mula! Well you get the point.
Can you do a 11th gen type r 😅
He did in another video, bud.
YOU DON'T MESS IT UP A-ARON!
i love my DE4 6sp Integra so much. Great video with lots of humor! Sub'd!
You can completely get rid of rev hang in the FE1 by disabling auto rev matching, also you now can heel toe which is fun

The ep3 is the best entry to a kseries. Sure it has the bad a3 but swapping that out is easy mode. cheaper than any other si as well.
Bunch of wrong info in this video.
My exact thoughts.
I’m actually curious, what’s do they misinform on?
Yea I agree. And when he recommended tire sensors I instantly knew a lot of this information was just googled.
Thanks for elaborating

how to modify cobalt ss. both supercharged and turbo
1:46 dude I FEEL that pain. :(( 99/2=92
Dang what are those side skirts on 7:29? Theyre tough. Anyone know?
Was that a RuneScape rock crab reference!? 😂
Mk7 fiesta st next?
There is no tpms sensors on the 11th gen Si

Perhaps the best mod for the SI is to just buy a GTI
I guess you’re ignoring the fact that VWs are a pain in the ass to work on and the GTI is more expensive than the Si.

Maybe save that money that would go into mods, and just buy a type r or something else that is substantially better.
cuz they're broke lol
