😅👍
Thanks for you Galaxy Jason flower gold wizard Dan Hurd Polly and the others keep bringing the shows you can't give us enough everything is so terrible in the United States it is wonderful to get out and live vicariously through all you guys so interesting and informative
I live in Southern oregon. My favorite thing to do is get jade and gold
@jimfausset8122 I live in wyoming and I agree with everything you said. Not much gold around here, I also watch Tassie boys prospecting and rob parsons, Chris, Levi, Rob, Pauly and Dan keep my gold fever going until summer
Really enjoyed the non-stop take Chris. More of those please, they are very informative! Thank you, and have a great day.
Thanks so much Chris for your generosity in sharing your knowledge with us. Bro really appreciate it, have learnt so much from you , May the gold Gods bless you with heavy pans👍👍👍
This Video is First Class in Helpful Tips for finding Gold.
Good Work Chris.
Really appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us Chris.
Chris Thank you for all you have given me so much joy but you and Gadzee are the best to learn from now I must say good bye .bro I will miss you guys cheers...
It would be really cool to make things with the Reedy Creek clay for old mouldy.!! Pinch pots are an easy start, pipes and sculptures would be cool! You could probably use smelting equipment to fire the clay too. 😊
Ah Chris this is easily the best video you’ve made, I love this style you do! Hang on I said that about your last video. Thanks for your knowledge and tips can’t wait for next post
Thanks for such a informative video and how to read a creek. Stay safe and see you on the next video
Love these kinds of videos man. Its details like that, that i feel i am missing when i go out. Cheers
Thanks, Chris.great informative video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge .invaluable!,,
never watched you for the information to go out and do it myself , i watch your videos , because i like your style of doing it and i learn things from time to time
Hey Chris, thanks again for your video ,I enjoy watching them after a good day’s work, looking forward to getting out on the creek soon, keep on digging 😃👍
You’re logic and technique are spot on Chris, thank you. I’ve come across so many places that just have the feel. My biggest problem is that I’m never sure if I’m legally allowed to pan in those places. Getting any information on a certain area is the most frustrating part. I don’t do Facebook or any sort of social media stuff, cause I’m an troglodyte when it comes to that shit, so getting to know the local area is just me going for a walk in an area I think I’m allowed to go and then finding out it’s a reserve or some big mining company has annexed it years ago. Getting any real time info is like pulling teeth. Private land I get, that’s not an issue. Any chance you can do an episode on ways to research an area. Ps. I’m in far NTH QLD. Thanks again.
Thanks for teaching us newbie’s! 👍
Very clear thinking young man, I like the reminders of good prospecting. As usual well done mate
I'm glad that you're going back to some of the basics and showing stuff showing step by step how to prospect. I miss the detecting and gold ore from from old deposits in mines. I was hoping that 1 day you will do a step to step. What to look for when you're looking for gold or deposits for either crushing or just using your gold detector. Kind of uninterrupted , step by step what you look at what you looking for In the same manner you did the stream work. I realize it starts with researching and looking for old mines And the history of the area prior to looking. But when you have so much erosion and new growth over a 150 plus years. Sometimes it's hard to know what you're looking at. It's just a thought, But I really like your thought process and your observations. And I am certain I can apply it anywhere you find gold. As usual really loved the way you went through this step by Step. It's a great feeling not having to travel to australia to look over your shoulder mate.😏
Thanks for the walk through of thought Chris. Will help next time I am out with the pan 😁👍👍
Thanks for your helpful info Chris. We are heading to Reedy tomorrow. Still learning so your videos really do give us something to think about, and practise, when we are in the creek.
Thank you Chris for the lesson. Awesome brother
I really like these follow along videos, fascinating stuff and very motivating
Thankyou for sharing
Just a note, many old timers had a 'poverty pot'. It was a container that held the superfine gold , sulphides, tin, magnetite and other 'junk' that they couldn't reasonably process themselves. Many survived off the fractions of lower base metals they collected while hunting that "El Dorado" of gold.
Love you guys, you explain things so I can understand, and gadzi cracks me up to no end😅
We try our very best
I do enjoy watching you and listening to you. You are a great teacher, you are great at explaining everything and you encourage everyone to get out and do.
I'm a disabled veteran with PTS.
Very smart lad with a great knowledge of prospecting 😊 easy to understand and totally makes sense everything he says.
Big hello from Scotland
Another great informative video is great to see the creek through your eyes (except its in colour!) 😂 . Your method of understanding where it gets caught, heavier indicators, flow and velocity. It is truly great, you know your stuff. I still manage to learn something from Vogus school! Cheers Andy, ❤it 😊
Great video for an eager beginner like myself. Thanks Chris 👍
Cool, Chris, I'm still amazed you ain't as dizzy as blonds being upside down down under...but That's the same way I find complete meteorite falls, large to small & the direction they flew in. Rock on goofy bro🪨 🎸 🤘
It so great that you share all the information that u do
We went on a vacation that took us through gold mining areas. We panned here and there and “didn’t find” anything. I wish I had watched you panning. I thought that gold came in “picker” size. I didn’t know to look for flour or nano sizes. Next trip‼️
thanx Chris ive been studying your videos and a few other Australian channels n just when I feel like I cant study anymore n its time to go out you show this n now im back to study thanx mate
The panhub t-shirt glowing from the side of the road was a delight to see… I even took a photo of a drop bear
Always a great video, brother. It's always great when I get to see other prospectors' methods of thought
You're a gold informing RockStar sire. Really rate your efforts.
Fern! Where is Fern?!?! Great vid, Chris! Thanks for learning us some tidbits! I'll look at my go-to spot a lot differently, but I only tuned in because Fern.
Another informative video thanks Chris
Nice work as always. Very informative
This may be your most interesting vid yet and I'm fairly sure I've seen them all. Simply because it explains all the keys perfectly in one take
Great video Chris, really informative and I'm missing Reedy Creek already! Down near Castlemaine now (swinging a 6000) and camping in the bush near the remains of a little settlement called Cornish Town. After years of wondering how it must've been for my Cornish compatriots who came here in the gold rush, I'm now finding out!
Very best wishes, Cousin Jack.
Hope you're on it down there man
Hey “cousin” jack was good to see you in chris and gadzees vids. Your a cool bloke and I hope your finding lots of gold and enjoying your adventure 👍🏼👊🏼
Thanks Chris, that was an excellent video.
Always learning from your experience.
Thanks.
Glad to hear it
Thanks for sharing Chris..
LOVE this Chris!😊
Great video Chris. Thank you
Great demo video. THanks.
Great video and lots of information. Even though I have been doing it a while I still got more info from it.
Like your snuffer bottle :-)
nice break down on your approach of clay
Thoroughly enjoyed this video….. thankyou. Every video I learn a bit more.
Ahoy Chris! You're back in the creek again.... I've been watching, but haven't been able to post until now. I apologize as I've been so busy and on the road. Thank you for this explanation in your video. I know it will certainly help someone new to the industry, or those who want to try it for fun. Until the next time, I am sending blessings from Alabama ❤️
Great vid and very informative
Great video thanks for the information and what to look for thank you
It’s not just density that sends the big stuff to the top. Even with the exact same material of the exact same density, bigger things rise to the top and smaller things find their way into gaps and sink to the bottom.
It’s known as the Brazil nut effect, and works in your favor if what you’re after is small.
Which is density between objects rather than debiste of the objects themselves, kinda semantics, but also kinda another force in your favor
@@patrickmanasco5905 not quite sure what you mean. Density is by definition independent of an object’s size.
On your "A Game" that day. How something is done is always prefered over what is done.
Brilliant. Classic Vogus. Thanks Chris
Nice one👍
Very interesting and informative
Cheers Chris!!!
Well by the thumbnail I reckon you cleaned it out good and no one can shovel dog you but I bet you go back there in a couple weeks and it will look like the surface of the moon lol great vid thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
Thanks Chris ❤
Cheers Chris for your lesson.
Kudos to you for your excellent tutoring skills, not everyone can develop them even after several years at Teacher Training College. The next logical step is to offer personalised mentoring for new prospectors, and if I do make it out to Australia before I get too old to do any panning I'll definitely offer you large amounts of my disposable income to teach me (with Gadzee as my personal chef) 😀👍🏼
Just...just...well, dont eat the potato dishes, eh?
@@RICDirector 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for all the great information
Great video man
Good one! 😎
Great info, again.
Love the vid
🙏❤️🌲
Thank you very interesting
You said you were going to give a non-stop vid - but that's not what I saw! There were several commercials that interrupted the vid. Definitely NOT non-stop! 🤣🤣
So, I'm a smart-ass. But smart-asses CAN BE TAUGHT! I saw how you used the riffles in the pan to hold the heavier stuff fixed in place (like in that other recent teaching vid) - so you could safely (carefully/gently) float/wash the light dross off the top. Time after time. Two Great Vids, those! I hope comment numbers help boost the channel. Even smart-ass ones.
Thank you for great instruction 👍
Thanks Chris, you are a master ⛏️
Thanks Chris a learning curve for me.
Very welcome
That was a jolly good vid!!!
Cheers man
Great concept really enjoyed that Thanks 😊
Awesome, thank you!
I am new to prospecting, your videos have helped me a lot. Thanks.👍👍
Yeah, he's brilliant. There are many prospectors posting videos, and they all use similar methods, but I believe that Chris is the most insightful and gives the most information about the ground and the indicators to look for. ❤ he's definitely my favourite. I wish you all the best in your quest to find gold. Best of luck, pal 👍🏻 ⚒️🏴
Great video..again. Thanks for the info and most importantly, for sharing it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I never knew there was Static in clay 😮 that is interesting.
Nice spec count 👌🏻
The audio was wonderful Christopher 😂👍🏻⚒️🏴
It's to do with charge. The clay creates its own positive charge through friction. It's a minor force but it can make a difference
A guy was fined Three thousand British Pounds for panning in a river in Mid Wales in the UK. It's illegal for god knows what reason. It's not like you will harm the river.
I gold pan the river mawdach and do my audits at afen when gold mines good results 😂😂😂😂
Thanks Chris, interesting as usual.
Great stuff as usual
Good tutorial Chris. Thank you for walking us through that process. Will you and Gadzee be going back to the reef gold field where you took the dry washer? How did you pick the spots you prospected then? Do the gold continually erode out of the rock there?
Lots of educated guess work and small samples.
Cheers for the vid Chris :)
thanks for sharing your knowledge
My pleasure
Good job bro
I enjoyed the video Chris.
thank you ,have a wonderful day!
Great video
Thanks!
Dead on. Great video.
❤knowledge❤❤❤😊
No wonder I sound like a nerd when I’m on a creek. I’ve watched too many of your videos. Don’t feel weird talking alone on the creek filming, I do it and I’m not even filming 🤣
Awsome. Have saved this for future reference
Encore! Encore!!
Thanks Chris!
As to your clay balls, since the grains of clay accumulate over time does that not give gold a chance to stick to it in each flood/building interval? It seems every layer of clay should have some gold if there is gold in the area. I might be wrong.
That reedy creek tin is a nightmare! Nice pan.
A Chris love the videos. Would you ever come to British Columbia to do prospecting?
My biggest problem is wading through the online information about claims and such. Trying to research historical stuff is about impossible. I just cant figure it out in my area
Wish there was Gold in NY
Always learning at Vogus!
Is the creek you are working your claim or is it just open for all? Thanks, Mike. Nevada USA
