You didn't mention that GK 3 LE from Audiffex. It's really good for the cleaner, tighter stuff. I must have paid for a version of Bass grinder at some point, they do have these crazy email sales sometimes, I picked up their ReAmp plugin for $10 in December. But back to the matter at hand. My Bass Grinder has 12 amps and 20 cabs. They are all rather Lemmy though. I liked the Tone-Lib stuff at first and then they started crashing Cakewalk on me so I just uninstalled them as I had other options. Picked up the Effector Bass Driver for $10 recently too so I'll probably be using that as much as I was using The BOD. I really wish that they would update that one.
GK 3 LE is $9. They used to give away GK 2 LE but no longer have it available on their site. The focus was for free amps so I didn’t mention GK3 LE. Thank you for continuing to watch. Keep creating! 👊👍
@@AudioTechTV My bad. I got both the 2 and then the 3 LE when they were free so I had no idea that had changed. I have been the Brainworx GK for a bit. Might pick it up the next time Plugin Alliance does their $20 off no minimum sale.
A couple of free chorus plugins that have filters are the OSL Chorus plugin from Oblivion Sound Lab and also the Hy-Cho/Fla from Hy-Plugins. I’m not sure how close they will sound to the Boss CE-3 but they’re free and worth a try.
Another option that I would really recommend for bass guitar mixing is using the free Waves Studio Rack plugin. It can turn any VST3 into a multi and plugin. I use it on my basses so I can add character to the mids and higher stuff while leaving the lows intact. If you use Studio Rack you could use any chorus plugin. I’m thinking of doing a video on mixing bass with it because it is so useful.
That's what Zane meant with "IR Loader". In short, an IR, or impulse response, is a digital snapshot (e.g. a wav file) of the sound of a real speaker cabinet and microphone. And there are devices that can use it to apply it to your bass signal. Such device could be something like an Ampeg SGT-DI for on the road or in your case a VST Plugin that you would append in your FX chain in your DAW
Would have been easier to hear the difference of all those plugins if the bass track was played by someone who knows atleast the basics of playing. It was traumatic to listen but thx still😂
Sorry for the traumatic experience but it’s an honour to have my video watched by such an incredible bass player. Usually it’s only the insecure ones that try to belittle others in order to make themselves feel better but not today. This is the real deal. Thank you so much for watching!! Keep being the most incredible bass player this earth has ever seen! 👊👍
@@AudioTechTV this was a beautiful retort. much respect audiotechtv and stay safe. ladies gentlmen i hope you learned a valuable lesson tonight, always show people respect, and never disrespect in order to make self feel better because self doesn't like self and is not confident in selfs ability to preform better than the person self disrespected.

Do you know of a plugin that has a chorus effect with a low filter like on the boss bass chorus ceb-3?

I miss my old boss peddle collection.i use to go to a booth at a flea market to find old ones
Do you need to add a speaker vst to these as well? I can never work it out?

Mark Studio 2 still the best
Can I use this plugins in ableton live lite 11?
Yes they will work in Ableton Live.
