Where can I pick up one of those hats?
Just left the range after shooting 250 rounds through my jakl. Suppressed. I love it. It’s a little different than a traditional AR. Very compact. I had no issues
Good stuff, thanks for the in-depth show and tell.
See you next week.
Looks like a great backpack gun!
nice review, have you try shooting supersonic non-suppressed?
Yeah, I shoot non suppressed too, no issues. Fun gun!
Praise God 🙌
Does the charging handle lock back? I want to be able to give it the "MP5" slap!
It locks back, but you will need to "slap" the bolt release on the lower
You could fit the ADM-180 lower with a JAKL upper, could you not?
You can use the lower but you need to switch out the bolt catch to a Jakl specific one from my understanding.
OK. So you can use the ADM lower but you need to use a parts kit from PSA to make them work together and the bolt catch and realize. alnk.to/8EIWDtJ
@@TheArmedScotsman that's cool and unfortunate to have to use their bolt catch release
The EPT is good for what it is. But I always put aftermarket triggers in my ARs. Except my KS-47. I don't trust aftermarket triggers with x39 ammo.
Don’t trust w/ x39? Why is that?
What state are you out of?
Utah
Just another arm Scotsman up here in Idaho I was wondering how close you were
Is the barrel still permanently installed like an AK?
The barrel is pressed into the barrel extension. There is no way to remove it as far as I know.
@TheArmedScotsman That's what's keeping me from getting one, tbh. They kept one of the worst features of the AK. For what they cost I don't like the idea of having to buy a whole new upper if I shoot steel cased ammo and degrade the accuracy
I mean, you can still replace the barrel, but it would probably take a gunsmith if you don't have the tools.
@BigfootUnibrowMan I don't know if it's still true but years ago when they first announced the JAKL they said trying to remove the barrel would irreparably damage the upper. No idea if they were just covering themselves legally but it's still a deal breaker for me tbh
@alexanderm8880 If it is anything like an AK it can certainly be removed if competently done. Probably them covering their ass on warranty replacements. Even rifles with bespoke/proprietary barrel attachments like Knights, LWRCI, etc. Can be replaced.
