Narrated Helicopter Flight with Takeoff and Landing

- Here's a narrated helicopter video with a takeoff from my summer base in Malaga, WA, a flight around Wenatchee and East Wenatchee, and a landing at Wenatchee Pangborn Memorial Airport. I've got the camera mounted above the front passenger seat (sorry about the vibration) and audio connected through the intercom system so you can hear my voice and all radio chatter but not the helicopter's engine or blades. The narration is pretty extensive: I explain most of the startup procedure (which is mercifully short because of the warm day), some of the takeoff and landing procedures, and a bit of the shutdown, which I explain but don't bore you with. Along the way, I tell you about points of interest and some things pilots pay attention to.

You can't please all of the people all of the time. Do what you're comfortable with. I'm a fixed wing guy so I have no idea how to fly a helicopter but I like watching you!

I really like that you keep the interior Helicopter noise down so that we can hear your comments and instruction. (sure wish Helicopters were that Quiet in real time!). Appreciate your Instruction, helps me want to start flying a Heli, just that much more! Thumbs Up!

loved every moment, not boring at all, I fly RC Helicopters and planes and indoor quads because I can't afford to be a full scale pilot, so every video you make brings me joy and jealousy.

And because a lot of people that are looking at your videos are novice there's nothing boring I like to see it all! I think your Landings are fantastic! The area you live in it's very beautiful! My Dad was taking flying lessons in the early 1960s and I flew with him and his friend in a helicopter when I was 7. An experience i really enjoyed ☺. Think it was maybe a Bell helicopter, whole front end was glass. Super videos you post ,keep em coming and I'm now a subscriber! Thanks so much!

I know this is one of your older videos, but I love watching your videos. Your narration either during flight (my favourite) or voice over afterwards (also awesome) is my favourite part. As someone who regrets, every single day, not becoming a helicopter pilot, your videos bring me those few steps closer to at least better understanding the why, how, when, etc etc. Please keep making great helicopter content!!!

Great video like your comments on flying, and very good job on the handling of the helicopter, hope to see more videos, i did subscribed, love when you explain whats your se,eing and doing not only outside but inside the cockpit i think your a very good narrator, for many people that dont undertand the life of flying is a very cool way to see what its going on and the safety of the aircraft and hopefully get a ride in your helicopter or otherso they can appretiate the beauty of nature and what have we done, kind regards.
