i recommend a camera with a cell card. REOLINK is a good camera. I have 2. You can get a data plan with your cellular company and a high memory card. your only charged for when you have live view or tap into the recorded events.
I have the same problem. I have the motion floodlight only. No camera, and it doesn't seem to activate with motion. I can see the motion red light blinking when I move but the lights are not coming on. Did you ever figure out how to get them working?

@@jacobknippel8296 yes. What helped for me was to separate my WIFI connections 5G vs 2.3ghz to make sure I was only using 2.3ghz. That worked
