Confession: in one of the MANY MANY rewatches of Budget Eats, I was finally able to see the brand of your Spork - Snow Peak, for anyone else who is curious, and may or may not have ordered one of my own off of Amazon, inspired of course, by June.
OMG thank you for this! I've been turned onto sporks thanks to June. Why did I think they were a bad thing? You get the right amount of scooping with just enough stabbing. Perfect for pies of all varieties, macaroni & cheese, stews, Swedish meatballs...I could go on!

i love how close to home and relatable June’s kitchen is. random containers that aren’t what they’re supposed to be filled with, pots and pans that have been cooked on hundreds of times and just the general look of it is so... normal. You see really a lot of intricate and fancy kitchens on youtube where everything is so organized and perfect, and its great to oogle and envy on, but its such a comfort to see June’s kitchen and how great food is cooked in the most not so perfect kitchens.

hey June, I'm from Peru and we have maca for breakfast as a hot drink(maca con leche ,quinoa drink its very popular) , its usually sold in street carts with avocado sandwich's, I also tried it in cookies, it has a nutty earthy flavor or in smoothies with a little cacao powder.
The one longish black thing is called 'peepli' or long pepper, it has medicinal properties. Generally used in broths. It is warm and peppery and a peculiar aftertaste to it.
The maca powder is excellent in an “energy bite.” In your Vitamix, put equal parts nuts and pitted dates and waz until they’re a toffee-like paste. Add maca, water if needed, maybe salt if the nuts weren’t salted. Scoop out the mix with a cookie baller or ice cream scoop. Some people roll the dough balls in coconut or chocolate chips, etc. I just like cashew, dates and maca. It’s very caramelly. Refrigerate. Eat when you’re hangry to take the edge off. Also, make sure you’re getting enough zinc to calm the eczema and try Atopalm cream, if you haven’t.

I love June so much! And this video just solved an argument I have with my BF as I choose to keep our spices stored in a kitchen cabinet exactly like June does here! He hates it and prefers a spice collection on the countertops to which I said no. Thanks, June! I will show him this part where she reveals her glorious spice cabinet. So happy to see it!
JUNE! I'm so happy for you! I watch all of your videos and always have them playing when I'm doing other things. You deserve this nomination! Good luck!!
After watching a few of your videos including the vegan one that I am still in awe of. I’ve never seen anyone make such amazing dishes with such random vegan ingredients i would never think to buy. I feel like you don’t have the same things in your fridge as the rest of us. I feel like your fridge is a Mecca of unusualness and amazingness!
Yesterday I rewatched your ten course Christmas dinner for four video and now what I realize is that you have no dishwasher! I was impressed before, but now I'm beyond blown away. I do quite a bit of hand washing, but am grateful that I don't have to hand wash everything! You are such a rock star!
The packets with Japanese writing were: ごましお (胡麻塩) -- Sesame (seed) salt. うめ (梅) ふりかけ -- Plum Furikake. I couldn't read it all, but if you link me a still I can translate more. Both are useful as toppings or mix-ins to rice. Not sure on the clear baggies.
"When you cook for a living, you really don't to do it for fun" 💯 I worked in a kitchen before the pandemic and meals at home are usually take-outs or canned soup and toast.

What if you did an episode where the intention is to not go shopping but instead clean out the fridge and pantry items that are going ignored?

The spork is the gift that keeps on giving!
Harney & Sons makes some bomb ass teas. The earl grey supreme literally keeps me alive these days. Teapigs is really good too!
I love June’s “new”? hairstyle. I haven’t watched in awhile. The rocker cut with the blond on top
Is amazing!
June gushing over her spork is everything ❤️
You inspire me to cook more, yet I fail everytime lol. My husband is a real trooper for trying all my concoctions !
Just keep cooking. Just keep cooking. Just keep cooking. And bless your husband.
JUNE! I'm so happy for you! I watch all of your videos and always have them playing when I'm doing other things. You deserve this nomination! Good luck!!
I've never willingly signed up to vote for something so fast, JUNE DESERVES THIS 💕💖
I love the engrained Asian tendencies in June's kitchen. 👍👍👍👍👍
OMG! So happy to know that you guys love Indonesian food! As an Indonesian, I think our food deserves more recognition
Japanese one is just a mixture of sesame seeds and salt. You usually sprinkle it on rice or mix in to cooked rice and make rice balls 😉
Yesterday I rewatched your ten course Christmas dinner for four video and now what I realize is that you have no dishwasher! I was impressed before, but now I'm beyond blown away. I do quite a bit of hand washing, but am grateful that I don't have to hand wash everything! You are such a rock star!
June makes me feel grounded and calm
What a jewel June is! I love her videos. This just proves you can cook in any kitchen - no excuses!!
I had to have that spork! I ordered it off Amazon! Nice, Aron! Love you June! Never change.
The second bag , the long kinda pine cones ones are called pipli(long pepper). It is medicinal n can be used during cold, cough etc
She needs to see the comments about getting you a raise!! Lolol. You are the best.
The packets with Japanese writing were:
ごましお (胡麻塩) -- Sesame (seed) salt.
うめ (梅) ふりかけ -- Plum Furikake. I couldn't read it all, but if you link me a still I can translate more.
Both are useful as toppings or mix-ins to rice. Not sure on the clear baggies.
thank YOU!
🙏
All the usual bit and pieces of a creative life. Best categorized in the mind. Live it! Love the Aaron interlude lol
"When you cook for a living, you really don't to do it for fun" 💯 I worked in a kitchen before the pandemic and meals at home are usually take-outs or canned soup and toast.
Thats a NYC kitchen baby, keep it post Rona. Love the noise outside. Thats us baby, delicious, noisy, creative, gorgeously chaotic. Love you June! Queens baby! 💖
