- Today we saw a Beautiful Cherry Log on the Woodmizer LX 150, This log came from a blowdown tree that was deep in the valley. I couldn't recover the log until we got the Wallenstein FX 85 Skidding Winch.

Warm and sunny the last three days and today it is warm, about 65 for a high, and raining here in Central Arkansas. Really glad to see you were able to rescue that Cherry log and turn it into lumber. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us.
A great video. Thanks to Melissa. She adds to every video with her positive perspective.
Happy birthday Eva, same day as my grandmother who turned 103. I cherish every moment I have with her.
Beautiful Lumber From the Cherry Log!!👍👊

SOUTHERN INDIANA HERE…Beautiful wood Mike. Maybe I can buy a woodmizer someday. Glad to hear you’re healing up Melissa.
It's a pleasure to watch your methodical and safe
way of handling wood cutting. Stay safe !!!
Nice results with your work.
Mike, it’s very nice of you to cut such beautiful boards, to strategically place around Melissas pool, cause you Love her that much. 😀
Good morning Mike and Melissa, great to see you getting around better, do what the doctor said ! Great video on the wasted wood you were able to save. That’s some beautiful wood you have milled. Enjoy the rest of your vacation. Happy Birthday to all of the ones we have missed and to Eva, may you all be safe and blessed. Thanks for sharing with us.
She doesn't know how to take it easy. Glad your doing better. Happy birthday Evea. Mike if you have forced air heating. You need to use a humidifier. Forced air heat will cause you to feel stuffed up. Because it drys you out. Also you can use saline in your nose. It really helps. God bless
Happy to see you back ! Glad to see you healing well . 👍
Melissa, when you went downstairs it was my first chuckle of my day. Thx
Like your show a lot, folks. I wish I could have brand new equipment like sawmills, chainsaws, tractors, implements and probably gloves for my projects!! I'm SO jealous!!

NICE LOOKING WOOD !!!!! as always great tunes , Big Hello to Hunter . Happy Birthday Eva !!!!!!!
Yup - Good Morgan to The Morgans! For a saved blown down tree that Cherry log produced some beautiful lumber. Love that grain in it. Early but ~ Happy Birthday Eva! [hope you took Hunter down for his Burger King Biscuit this morning] Glad to see Melissa walking almost normal this morning, on her way to getting back in the saddle. Have a safe one up there and "Have A Day!"
Happy Birthday Eva! That's some beautiful lumbar Mike! Nice work.
That is beautiful wood. I have a great appreciation for cherry furniture coming from the home of one of the premier makers of handcrafted cherry pieces in Indiana. I look forward to seeing the rest of that log milled.
So I have a list of things to do as long as my arm, and yet I sit and am fascinated by Mike (and Melissa 😍) milling this cherry log! Just call me a cheap date! Thanks for showing the beauty in that log!!!
Good morning from Northern Vermont - warm here today (35 degrees). Happy birthday to the applicable family members. Beautiful cherry - it will be quite desireable for woodworkers once it dries and cures. Back to the workshop.
Happy Birthday Eva... That mill was a great investment. You got some nice land, great machinery, keep the saw dust flying.
Beautiful cherry. Makes me think back to the house on the farm my Dad built after the original 2 story brick house burned down. The only lumber he bought for that little house was the wall studs and the oak flooring. The floor joists, the subfloor and the rafters were all rough cut white oak. The baseboards were cherry and the quarter round trim on the floor was maple that he shaped at the place he worked on his own time. All the wood I have described came out of our woods. The brick veneer on the house was salvaged from the original house and even that brick had been fired on the farm when the original house was built. So, 90+% of the material in the house that exists on that property today came from the property it sits on. Same goes for the barn. It is made from poplar. We don't own it anymore. Dad sold out in 1970 when he retired to Florida. I still miss that farm.
What beautiful lumber,fantastic colours
Hi Mike,
I envy you all those beautyful cherry logs. My mind just trips over all the cherrywood furniture that has allways pleased so many people. Sorry you caught a bug....get well.
So glad to see you doing better Mel ☺... Happy belated Birthday Levi & Eva!!🎈🎂🎈... Mike, that Cherry was WELL worth the effort you put into getting it of that hillside! Good Save...👍👍
That was a beauty of a cherry log that you milled. Some fine furniture will be made from those boards. I'm sure you're really appreciating having that skidding winch for getting those out of reach downed trees for firewood and lumber.
Beautiful lumber Mike. Like watching the sawmill work it does a great job. Thanks for sharing and glad to see Melissa is better. God bless.
Wow!! What a awesome job and beautiful lumber. This makes me want to get a sawmill. I wish I had cherry and oak on my property.
Beautiful looking wood,..my dear ol' father would have loved to be able to work with this wood!
He loved working with wood, and took pride in bringing out and preserving the grains of nice wood like this.
Perhaps I strayed from the topic here, but looking at those planks, reminded me of him and his work shop hobby days!
Melissa, glad to see you on the mend. Mike, nice save on that log. Beautiful wood. Hi, Hunter!
I love that grain. It's beautiful. My oldest Son's birthday was yesterday. He is 48.
50 degrees in late December, wow. S. Wisconsin had 58 on Christmas. To paraphrase an old song " we're dreaming of a brown Christmas " cold front finally got here, if high 30's is cold. Nice log / nice lumber. Happy Birthday Eva . Lookin good Melissa
Mike, i ain't even ashamed to say I'm jealous of the sawmill. 😂 Great work sir, I love that mill!
Absolutely love the grain in this lumber!
Thanks for the sawmill it looks like you have a nice setup for yourself.
Great job. Glad everyone is doing well and happy birthday Eva 🎂🎈🎉
Your love for fine wood is admired. I trust you will turn this beautiful tree into many more beautiful objects.
Love your channel, even better when you have your wife with you. My wife is my best friend. Almost 51 years. Thank you.
Really enjoyed the video. Thanks 👍👍👍❤️
Glad to see Melissa walking good again hope you had a great Christmas happy birthday to Hannah
Mike, With that Cherry someone could make some fine furniture. Enjoy the weather while you can!
Mike, you're going to need that building sooner than later when I see that beautiful cherry log. I grew up in a carpenter's family, learned to appreciate the different woods early on.
That's some gorgeous cherry.
Happy Birthday Eva, hope you have a wonderful day.
The wood grain in the cherry log is absolutely beautiful! It’ll be fun to see what project to use that on
Good to see mellisa walking better. ẞure it's feeling better too 👍 that cherry lumber is sweet buddy. Good video
Mike looks like your having fun. That's some very nice cherry. Thanks for the video Mike and Melisa.
Mike glad to hear ya feeling better and also Melissa's foot is better. Beautiful lookin cherry log. Wish we could grow cherry trees like that in Central Wisconsin. As usual awesome video. Keep em coming
That saw mill sure is sweet . The only thing that drives me nuts about the mill is that you walk on the side that the saw dust is ejected . The Wallenstein FX 85 Skidding Winch has certainly made it possible to get logs that previously would have just rotted in the woods . Was looking at a video on the Wallenstein log splitter . That company makes all kinds of stuff . The best part is that Wallenstein products are made in Canada . Made with Canadian LOVE . Mike you have cut quite a few boards so far . Where do you store your boards . You must have quite a buddle by now . Happy Birthday Eva . Won't be long when she'll be borrowing your truck when she gets her driving license .
Beautiful wood! Nice job getting the very best out of that log..
Happy Birthday Eva! We have grandson birthday and great grandson this week. Good to see Melissa on mend, Mike as well. Happy New Year to all!
Tell Eva, Happy Birthday from Oregon.
Good to see Melissa back not hopping around.
Nice looking cherry.
Wow - very nice cherry log. Isn't the smell of sawing cherry just the best? It is my favorite wood to work with, machine, etc. Although it doesn't stain very well. I usually just polyurethane it and keep it au natural! Nice channel - really enjoy seeing your family farm, etc.
Have seen some nice cherry cabinets nice wood and Melissa is crazy
From our family to yours we wish you a "Happy New Year". Happy Birthday Eva we hope it's the best yet!!. Greensboro NC.

Happy Birthday Eva from Northeast PA
Beautiful wood I wish i lived closer would love to have some of that last log you cut.
Happy Birthday Eva, Hi Hunter!!
Oh yes, almost forgot. Happy Birthday Eva!!
That Cherry is Cherry....God the Master Woodworker
Very nice clear cherry. That log would have decayed but now will last a lifetime or more as beautiful furniture.
It would be neat to see you to see you mill some lumber and send a piece to Buckin to build a axe handle
Mike an' Mellissa! I'm whit Chance! Buckin' Billy Ray Smith and Missus Buckin' an' Family would LOVE an authentic, real, live piece o' The Morgan Land! Pure-T Pennsyltucky wild, red cherry... a piece o' that fits in Canuck-lan' je-e-e-e-ss R-r-i-i-i-ght!

How wonderful to see Melisa out and about! It was also a great surprise to see another LX150 milling of a beautiful cherry log being converted into amazing four or five quarter lumber. The grain pattern and the spectacular color brought goose bumps. Do you know what the ambient humidity was the day of milling? I’ll bet you get some decent air drying on the lumber.
If I lived down the way, I’d buy two of the for-firewood chunks, and would turn you some bowls, a couple of salt and pepper grinders, and who knows what else. I make boxes, art pieces like vases lidded enclosed vases, jewelry, kitchen tools such as stirring spoons, rolling pins...all from beautiful wood from your place.
This was another fantastic video. So professionally produced by the Morgan Studios! Thank you again. We wish the Morgan’s a Happy New Year, a prosperous, safe and blessed time. And of course, have a day!
I am a big fan of your videos
Nice Cherry Mike,
I absolutely love cherry, it's such a beautiful wood. Luckily we have plenty here in Florida. Nice intro!
Sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..?
I somehow forgot my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Alijah Adonis Instablaster ;)
@Baylor Ben i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Baylor Ben It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my account !
@Alijah Adonis You are welcome =)
Happy birthday to them both
Good day to make some lumber. Beautiful looking boards.
Well looks like MO is walking a lot better so hope you have a great New Years .
first time i heard you play a song more then once and that is some nice log, thats a log 8/4 or 10/4 live edge boards is what people are looking for
Hey Mike! beautiful cherry lumber buddy! the mill works great. a nice gun cabinet would be cool with that stuff. Keep up the good work! btw, quite a pile of wood your getting!
Mike I always enjoy your video's and learn these little differences we have 😀 you call 4-->1/4 8--> 1/4 10--> 1/4 we call. 1inch 2 inch. 2 1/2 inch . Means nothing but something that sticks out to me. Would real love to have all toys / oops equipment lol. Instead of just repairing them . Also I ride a trials motorcycle and would be riding your whole property and just be over the moon . Oh and there is quite a difference between trials motorcycles and just dirt bikes we do little to no damage . And Have ridden right up to deer and in the woods . On my two-stroke Gasgas 300. Anyway just commenting and sharing. Have a great one. 🇨🇦 Craig
Mike, if you look at Out of the Woods videos, some of his best boards are cut from old bent up crouch wood logs. These logs you did today are great, but with the wide cut you can make with this saw give a wide crouch area a cut and show us the results.
Oh, hey. Nice key tag. Nice video. Awesome little mill.
-18 c in Alberta. 0 fahrenheit for you Thank you for sharing
HAPPY BIRTDAY MISS EVA !!!
Lots of valuable square foot you cut up with that beautiful cherry!
Imagine after being kiln dried.
the trees are generally oak,hickery,poplar
