Although it was stated that “What a Feeling” , was number 1 on the radio for six weeks, as far as l am concerned, it felt like the song lived on and off the radio for another 6 years.
This is very depressing. Just found out about this now. She was for my taste one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. Obviously super talented as well. God, it seems like yesterday we were watching her on TV doing "What a feeling" and "Fame". Where the hell does the time go? I'm getting really tired of seeing beautiful people like this come into our lives with such impact...then be suddenly gone, and when I say beautiful I don't mean just outwardly.

What I'd like to know is what did she die from at only 63 and why is it that so many people are dying suddenly and why is it taking so long to reveal a cause of death for these people? Many of them had no prior health issues. It's really sad and unfortunate. She was one of what were real singers and pure talent from back in the day. I loved that movie. Can't find many, if any woman artist today with the class she projected. RIP dear Irene Cara. 🙏💛
