McLlamaSC, when he read the patch notes. His excitement and energy died IMMEDIATELY once he scrolled down and noticed theres only 1 line for "changes". It was pretty funny at how visually disappointed he was
@turbo_brian of course, but let's be honest, D2R ain't gonna get any love, I'm shocked that terror zones were added but D2 is such an old game as it is.
You can use the level 15 requirement Ravenclaw bow as well for the exploding arrow before The Kuko Shakaku if you wanted to start the enchant build ASAP.
i think a big part of the reason not to do that is because the pierce target is what make this build so good
@@georgeDeming it still works if the enchants good enough but not sure about with a low enchant. raven claw chant bot been the way to level up in hc for years
Raven Claw, Cow King Boots, Death's Hand and Death's Sash are my favorite newbie equipment.
Works great till u get the other 2. Really good at that lvl
@@StormWHM I never realized the Cow king boots were only level 13 req and that 25-35 fire damage would really help the explosive arrows. Good call! I'm gonna try this setup next playthrough.

Anyone starting with this build, got to act 2 normal, buy a white +3 enchant staff, Larzuk it for 4os and make a memory staff on swap.
Swap for +33FCR teleport and static + nice +6 prebuff on enchant and ES.

I appreciate this. I've been using the Leaf runeword, but this works even better.
You can shop a +3 Enchant white staff from Drognan, Larzuk it for 4 os and make a Memory. +6 Enchant and +6 Energy Shield will help this build a lot early on.
have a bud thts rocked this several times on season start, and its great for so little gear. sunder and demon machine/kuko and you're off and running.
enlightenment is another solid cheap item, has CtC fireball on strike and blaze when struck which do more then nothing at that point of the game with mastery beefed up.

i hope if they do add anything in the future, we finally get a runeword for sorc orbs. I always find 2 sock orbs with crazy plus skills would be nice to have a new runeword that fits in there
Yes and some two socket necro shrunken head runewords. I always thought they dropped the ball on that.
My dream for D2R is for them to remove runewords
@@Jvstm play without them than… but don’t act like OG gear wasn’t a bunch of hacked and duped items. Like the hex large charm that gave 90 strength 90 dex and 90 vitality. Occy rings ith bows the list goes on

I started season 4 with the intention of making this exact build, had the demon machine drop for me in NM which was unbelievable. Traded for a razortail day 2 and had a flickering flame and sunder day 3, best ladder start I ever had. This build wrecks for fairly cheap.
Even tho I understand that xbow sorceress isn't a build you do start to finish playthrough with, I would for the sake of the challenge use that build to not only pass the game but farm for gear with it. I'm not a content creator so I don't know if that would be a good idea but I believe it would be a cool evolution to follow and maybe you'll enjoy the journey. Who knows.
I really want to do a witchwild string paladin with might, concentration, and fanatcism.
My newest char I’ve been playing has been the crossbow sorc. It’s so much fun
I tried my first throwing barb. I find being able to stand back and shoot shit along with being able to get frenzy buff allows for higher survivability. Dual lacerators causing enemies to flee and a delerium on my merc and crowd control was a breeze
I always look forward to this games new season even if my enjoyment seems to be in the range of 3-8 weeks before trading feels bad and I burn out
did it at seson5. With ormus +3 enchant just for buff and on switch +5 enchant orb + spirit. Good idea make insight in bow and take 1 act merc with fire arrow :) p8 cs is not so fast as pally or assa but can be done, this sorc love cows.
I know that it may not do any help but if there is any dev contact you may have can we ask for AT LEAST extra spots for new characters? I hate having to delete a level 90 character. There's no reason we shouldn't be able to have new character slots.
I'm working on this build right now for non ladder. You honestly don't even need static outside of high player counts, and even then, it might be better to just keep spamming arrows. Even against bosses you can take them down pretty fast with just shooting at them. Obviously in a budget build you might wanna spec your character a bit differently. Once you get some more +skill on your gear and your charms with torch/anni and fire skillers, it's kinda crazy how much of a damage boost you get.
what about crushing blow instead of static? yes, its weaker with ranged attacks but you can save points. Did you try that? Is it worth it?
@@iKuba42 Nah, it's just not a build you'd use CB for. Maybe you could try Goblin Toe out and see, but I'd rather use War Travs or some sort of res boots instead.
You can use the Cure helm Runeword for this build, would help for the poison res and the aura for a bonus. Nice to see a different build though

I’m starting with a Nova Sorc. gonna try and run straight Static/Nova and then just sit and farm NM cows from like level 40-75.
I don't enjoy energy shield so I dumped all my extra points into frost shield, rocked a defiance merc, and threw everything else into static iirc.
i wonder how holy fire with demon machine would do with a paladin
im gonna play passive & magic skill only scythe melee zon this reset. max valk, decoy and slow missiles. wish me luck
slow missiles may get you killed in alot of ranged heavy areas in hell difficulty, i think you would be better off putting those points in the other passive like dodge and avoid

D2r is amazing on console. Playing with controller beats keyboard imo

I was thinking this build too. My thoughts until finding was maybe passion for zeal with enchant to get the hits in
I tried this build as starter on ladder and immediately quit once I got the starter setup (flickering flame etc) with how weak it felt compared to an ungeared nova sorc. Pretty disappointed.
having spirit and lidless wall on a swap will greatly help with teleporting around :)

Enchant Demon Machine Sorceress is kinda beast. With Flickering flame and partial Tal Rasha set it is slaying really good and Magic Find is really high pretty early and cheap. Ma second favourite build. with Act 1 merc with Kuko Shakaku or Emilio it is wrecking ball.
By Emilio I mean 2nd act Merc with holy freeze and insight of course.

I mean they could have just done: "Stackable items" as the only change this season and people would have been happy. Throw us a bone lol. I tried bow enchant last season it is really fun and great to enchant other players. It gets a bit boring but it's a great change if you play the usual sorc builds.
If you can get your hands on the demon limb for a lvl 23 enchant,so you don’t need to invest into enchant hard points
I’m rolling a hammerdin paladin. Never tried ladder start as a paladin actually. Gonna feel good being OP for once. The grind for enigma tho aha
Act 1 Mercenary would do a better job i think. Use the Wisdom Helm + Hustle Armor+Bow. Try it out.
It is in the back of my mind to try it. But the safety belt if holy freeze tough to hey away from. Might go act 1 merc anyways just to try it more.
@@SweetPhil Merc is actually pretty weak, she doesn't get the double application of fire mastery like when the sorc shoots and not access to -fire enemy res

In that case I'd rather have a budget blessed aim merc with a cheap reapers toll. Your arrow needs to hit the target for the pierce to count and the following explosion to do damage. Pre-Infinity, AR is actually pretty important on this build.
@@guillaume1973 Act 1 Merc (Cold) 2 x Hustles and Wisdom or Bulwark helmet, some even put Cleansing (for poison cleaning).
Try it out. (Fanaticizm and burst of speed + super attack speed)
What is better for this build, cho-ko-nu or kuko?
Demon machine definitely better imo. The crossbow.

Fcr for tele. Really want at least the 63 break point.
You only need I think 9 or 10 ias for this build, so most people socket the weapon with a Shael rune or a 15 ias 15 all res jewel if they're rich enough.

firstly there is nothing wrong with going meta build like nova or blizzard... it is just not interesting to stream. Secondly fully decked demon machine enchantress is a S Tier build probably better than both of these "meta" builds.
Just 2 weeks ago I had found a demon machine, razor tail, sunder in hell, and some other items and soloed the whole game through hell with that build rather easily.

It would be more interesting to see your ACTUAL ladder starter, the character you play from lvl 1.
That is what separates the experts from the noobs.
Not just showing a high lvl character which requires runes and uniques you will probably not find for many days.

Sounds like Phil clicked on the wrong game, landed in D2 LoD and really enjoyed the Cowchant bot games everyone is leveling up in until they reach hell.
