It is incredibly sad to see all the plastic washed ashore on the windward sides of the islands in the Bahamas, but one of the things we liked about the Ragged Islands is we saw many people trying to repurpose it into trail markers. Those goat trails aren't always easy to follow through the low brush, so other cruisers would take sandals and jugs or whatnot and mark the trail every 50 feet or so by tying a piece to a branch. It doesn't solve the problem of plastic overuse in our society....but it made us smile that at least an effort was made to put some of the 'garbage' on the islands to a better use. 🙂 So happy you guys got to explore the Raggeds, they're a true paradise in the Caribbean!

Well, this video started off just waffle! Yea, you made my mouth water, because I haven't had breakfast yet! Then! Talk about feeling board! You guys were really feeling it that's for sure. It's a good thing you didn't get a kite - I mean a bite - from a shark. That would have made us all feel very blue. Probably most of all Alex Blue! Then, Halo! You get our goat as well. But then we get a leg up on waste plastic washing ashore! 60 years ago that wouldn't have been there - or anywhere. As far as food goes, you could have had some fresh chevon burgers! There had to be more than one there. Besides all my word play this was another WONDERFUL Delos episode! Such a beautiful little island. Thanks for documenting these unique locations. : - ) Scott

So you're getting the hang of the kiting and your foiling is starting to come along... now it's time to put both of them together and foil using the kite - best feeling ever! As to sharks, I kitesurf in Western Australia, the ocean of the great white - I've always felt safe as you're always moving. Appreciate that Blue was in the water for a while, but sharks are naturally wary creatures and it takes them a long time to pluck up the courage to check something out. That's why it's usually the surfers that get chomped because they're sitting there for ½ an hour waiting for the perfect wave. Glad Blue kept her wits about her, steadied her nerve and just got back up on the board - fantastic effort when your adrenaline is starting to pump!
I have enjoyed the discussion of being able to get away from civilization and internet in this episode and the last. I own a 40ft boat on a small (ish) lake in Arkansas called Lake Ouachita. The cell reception there is terrible. There are many days I can go out sailing for days at a time and be by myself or with just my family. There are small islands I can dinghy too and be all alone. I agree... the solitude and lack of being able to check your phone is very refreshing. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Love it! Can’t wait to go sailing myself. Foiling looks super insane! The night sky is why I think about sailing nonstop. I remember seeing the sky at night in the Pacific Ocean on a ship once, it actually changed me, and whenever I try to tell people why I love the ocean so much, I find myself attempting to describe the stars from horizon to horizon at night of course. Truly understanding what the unpolluted night sky looks like is nearly impossible for those that have never seen it with their own eyes. I believe that it could change peoples outlook on life, I know it changed mine. Please keep the wonderful content flowing, love you all!

You guys are really getting the hang of the Kiteboarding gig. Great Job!! I recently bought a 21 foot Ski boat that I take my 2 boys Jorden 14 & Kohen 12, knee boarding, tubing and skiing. Well a week or 2 ago I showed them your Video with Pokémon and your crash course/training week. Now they are asking for a damn kiteboard for Christmas!!! thanks a lot Delos...LOL JK you guys make my lunch break awesome as hell! You all are very lucky for digital video and sailing to coexist with you. I never could figure out how to finance a sailboat, maintain it and eat at the same time, or how to sail around the world. Then yall came along and showed us all how. But sadly old age a disability caught me just a looking. LOL, I've viewed Delos from your very beginning. I am so happy to have the Delos and crew to follow. And yes I've always clicked like.
From SeaHab to ShoreHab on a beautiful deserted paradise in the Ragged Islands of the Bahamas. This video was a perfect complement to the SeaHab video. The videograghy story telling, and edit were excellent. It made me feel like I was hanging out with you in this little bit of paradise. That night time footage of the sky was awesome - you even caught a shooting star with that time lapse! How cool was that! I would love to see more shots of the sky at night - probably hard to do at sea but very doable from secluded beaches like this on. Thanks for sharing! Fair Winds all!

Will be interesting in years to look back and see the stats on how there was this boom in people taking up sailing and cruising during this time due to all the sailing vlogs. They made something that was theoretical that many people only dreamed about doing because they didn't think they actually could do it for all the various reasons and instead made it into something that actually looks doable by taking us viscerally along for the ride and seeing how it's done. And you guys do a good job on all the pieces - the drone/underwater/timelapse footage, fast-mo to slow-mo speeds/music choices, content decisions and of course the editing. Another great video.

You all are very lucky for digital video and sailing to coexist with you. I never could figure out how to finance a sailboat, maintain it and eat at the same time, or how to sail around the world. Then yall came along and showed us all how. But sadly old age a disability caught me just a looking. LOL, I've viewed Delos from your very beginning. I am so happy to have the Delos and crew to follow. And yes I've always clicked like.

From SeaHab to ShoreHab on a beautiful deserted paradise in the Ragged Islands of the Bahamas. This video was a perfect complement to the SeaHab video. The videograghy story telling, and edit were excellent. It made me feel like I was hanging out with you in this little bit of paradise. That night time footage of the sky was awesome - you even caught a shooting star with that time lapse! How cool was that! I would love to see more shots of the sky at night - probably hard to do at sea but very doable from secluded beaches like this on. Thanks for sharing! Fair Winds all!

Will be interesting in years to look back and see the stats on how there was this boom in people taking up sailing and cruising during this time due to all the sailing vlogs. They made something that was theoretical that many people only dreamed about doing because they didn't think they actually could do it for all the various reasons and instead made it into something that actually looks doable by taking us viscerally along for the ride and seeing how it's done. And you guys do a good job on all the pieces - the drone/underwater/timelapse footage, fast-mo to slow-mo speeds/music choices, content decisions and of course the editing. Another great video.
