as a former scuba instructor in Cancun and Cozumel living now in Colorado you guys give me my fix of ocean doses. I lived in Akumal camping in the middle of the jungle for 8 months and I remember how easy life was. just living with the minimum amount of the necessary things to enjoy the day. you rock Delos!!! 😍🥰🤩

Exquisite site ... it reminds me of my years growing up on the island of Aruba (this was in the '50s and 60's before the tourists took over the island). Endless hours of free diving and SCUBA diving off the leeward side of the island brings back memories of such pristine waters and healthy reefs. Sadly, tragically, we're losing such sites due to climate changes -- of our own causing. What a gift, then, to Sierra to be able to look back on this time with you at such an archipelago as this. 💞

The colors of the footage under water and on the atoll are stunning. A great episode. I was blessed to sail around Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora Bora for 10 days in 2019, albeit in January which is the rainy season. Never came near to this clarity of water. Keep the good videos coming please.

Floating one's anchor chain is also valuable for deep anchorages. While anchor lying on the bottom will help attenuate surges caused by waves, the catenary shape formed by suspending the chain with one or more fenders absorbs a significant amount of shock, and in slow and progressive manner. You still need Anchor chain lying on the bottom provides very little resistance to movement. Put simply, it's the anchor that anchors! It's the chain (anchor rode) that allows you to ride the anchorage in comfort. WOW! That's by far the clearest water I've ever seen! In fact, it rivals the clarity of Silver Springs, Florida back in the late 1960s!
