That intro footage narrated by Blue was mesmerizing. The videography, music choice, editing, and story telling just keep getting better. Well done Blue, Lisa, Ruben, and Brady on creating such an awesome video of this breath taking island!
At 60+ years old I feel I've been blessed with a wonderful life with a wife I love, 4 beautiful children and 4 Grandchildren , but the Delos crew and it's adventures make me question (sometimes) if I had a chance to do it differently I would quite possibly choose the Delos Life... you are living a dream life of many others ! Another excellent episode ...thank you for sharing !
Ive cried, and laughed, and smiles with you all overtime i watch you. Your in the waters of the country i live in. My family and i have a farm in the mountains of Portugal, and are firmly set one land, living with the the food we grow and milking our goats, living away from society and love every minute of it... Once when i was a child i grew up in Hong Kong, and my father had a boat, i remember sailing around hong kong islands and i know the feeling you get when you sail... My dad named our boat blues eyes after me when i was born... Blessings to you and keep on sailing free... we are all with you.. one love
Home sweet home! My dad and 2 sister are from there. I lived there until I was 2 years old. Then moved to the island of Terceira, lived there until i was 12. Then, my mom married an American and we moved to the USA. I went back in 2011 to both islands. And plan on moving back FOREVER! You just made me miss home 1000x more. Thanks for the beautiful video and great memories brought back!🇵🇹🇵🇹❤
I love it all all though. Everyone who has ever had a finger in dealing with this Chanel (from what I know) is honesty a straight up person. Not pretending or trying to push and agenda or politics. This is what UA-cam is meant to be.
I had the pleasure of living on Sao Miguel for about 8 weeks in the late 70's. Spectacular. The best part was being befriended by a family and sharing in their customary dinners and rituals. Another was to walk to the main plaza to collect water for their was no running water to our home. Finally, the stares we got from the local folks early on as they were unaccustomed to see Americans in town. It was awesome!
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! You deserve the Óscar of UA-cam! You are amazing guys! by the way I’m Portuguese and you’ve just showed me how paradisiac is my country! Fair winds to us all!
You should check some of the edits from when Kiril Dobrev was on board during the Madagacar return trip. That guy is an artist. Here's a video from his channel by the way. ua-cam.com/video/HSljscCTvmg/v-deo.html
I was born in the Azores live in 🇨🇦 for the last 45 years. Lost my dad 2 years ago he told me Flores was the most beautiful of all the Isalnds, you guys just proved it. Hoping to retire back to the Azores one day.
When I was in the Air Force my girlfriend was stationed at the Azores for 6 months. The stories I heard from her were legendary. She said words could never describe how amazing the experience there at the island.
Blue has found another skill. Narration. Who would have thought that lowering her voice an octave would have such impact. Beautiful Blue. Flores looks lovely. It must be good to impress so many salty sailors from SV Delos. I think Brian and Corrine are smiling.
BOOM ... and all of a sudden a couple of episodes that totally super-ceded any high budget tv production I have ever seen in my life! The editing, the timing of the funky funky tunes with the action, both in real time and in slow mo!
Blue and Brady, and the new Delos crew, have released another epic video. It's like National Geographic with beer! The 'Planet Earth' series has nothing on you guys. Breath taking drone shots, incredible land formations on sea and land, cockroaches and broken water lines... I mean what more could you want?
I can't believe 68 people giving this a thumbs down! The skill, effort and time taken to take, edit and produce this is really is something. Well done 👏
I've been watching Delos videos for years and this episode is one of my favorites. The production quality and editing is inspiring! Thank you for sharing your latest expedition!
I’d planned on traveling and other things after my kids were grown but life had other plans for me. That’s why I truly appreciate the Delos crew sharing their adventures! Through your videos I’m able to see and have virtual experiences ! Sometimes I get so caught up sailing with y’all that I have to remind myself of my own reality. Lol
Thanks again Delos crew for showing me , vistas I probably would never be able to venture to. Sitting here in my study aged 68, a real couch potato, but again as in St. Helena and many other places around the world, by means of You-tube you have been my eyes and ears.
Visualy the best episode ever and I have been following Delos for almost 5 years. Congrats to Lisa who I guess is the main editing person now and doing a wonderful job. Congrats to the drone operators who I consider as expert aerial videographers especially with a beautiful very windy place as this one. You guys I have always considered the best and you are still getting better and better as time goes on. You still make my Friday mornings a pleasure. Better than anything on TV and for getting the viewer personally and emotionally involved with the boat and crew. Hope Brian, Kaza and the new baby are doing well.
Thank you again for taking me (us) on the adventure of your lives - and know many of us, if not everyone of us, are with you in spirit and love. Just extraordinary - I (we) enter each "episode" as naked and unknowing about what we'll see as you when it was lived - and this one was gold from the heart of our mother earth. Beautiful - - just beautiful.
The intro narrative and videos are as good as anything professionally produced and seen on discovery or nat geo PLUS, no one has Blue's voice, perfect for telling a story.
Seriously guys! Your videography and production value rivals any major studio or networks. Hands down the best on TV overall. Not just the best on UA-cam but all of TV
I am from Azores. I think is amazing people visit and get to experience our lovely place. But I do appreciate also, respect for any animal. Even jelly fish, should not be touched, disturbed. Just because they don't contract a lawyer for bullying, that does not mean you have the freedom to go on purpose between them, just because it's fascinating and u never saw it. And even picking up and then through it away, instead of not picking up at all, or even if picking up, AT LEAST putting it back on water gently. Trully nature explorers, do the best to not disturb nature, of any kind. Thanks
Brady, your brother and Kazza have to be smiling. You guys are doing some really really good work. I tip my hat to you and the crew for carrying on in spectacular fashion. Impressive.
Watched this episode months ago. Revisited this, and mesmerized again. Like a great book - I'm transported to a fantastic adventure. Perfection in Intro video, editing and great story telling. Kudos to the professional video skills of both Brady & Blue, along with their soothing voice overs. Characters such as Chia, Ruben and Sean, are adorable and add to the humor and entertainment value. This kind of quality would be expected on my local PBS station. This one shall be saved to shared as my absolute favorite in my archives.
The quality of this episode is so impressive that I was distracted by trying to figure out why it stands out and the effort and minds that went into creating it. Rarely, as in almost never am I moved to be a part of any comment section but this episode deserves much love.
This is one of the finest and best produced videos I've ever watched on UA-cam. Love the SV Delos crew and the time and effort you put into sharing your adventures with us. Thank you so very much!
Wow! I have seen most of your episodes and this is definitely your best episode so far. It is breathtaking. Thank you so much for sharing this experience with me. If I ever have the chance to go sailing for a longer period, the azores are a place I need to visit.
I sincerely hope you all feel the pride in achieving a level of quality with your videos that is beyond what we get on major networks and streaming services. Your hard work is really appreciated. This episode was stellar. Thank you 🙏❤️
I've seen grown men and women screem and cry at the top of their lungs after been stung by a Portuguese yellyfish at the west coast of France. Our children were surfing and thank God wearing wetsuits. The scars those people had were absolutely horrible and the had to go to hospital. A few days later, our friends Labrador made the mistake of biting one, thinking it was his ball. He almost died. Can't imagine what would happen if you would fall in that cluster of yellyfish 😱. Lot's of love from the Netherlands, Daniëlle 😘🙋
Kiril, is the best editor (in my opinion) who has ever sailed on Delos. I stopped this video at two minutes to click to the end because I wanted to see if he had edited this one. I mean that has a huge compliment to Blue, Lisa, Ruben and Brady. That intro was genius.
This is the most beautiful and captivating portrait of Azores I have ever seen. Sure, focused in Flores, but still.. I feel people only search for food and comfort.. whereas Azores is so much more... thousand Thanks to You for showing the real deal ❤️
Yes Delos is back to exploring and learning, I've missed this part of it all. The water color coming out of the first cave was a brillant color. What a fantastic place. This is why I watch Delos vlogs in the morning always a great way to start the day. : ) peace
Great episode guys, I am glad you are having fun in Flores, I am from the Azores from the island of Terceira I will be going there for two weeks in June, but now I have to go explore Flores too. Thanks again and enjoy the friendly people.
HOME ❤️ you did an incredible job 👏👏👏👏 I miss this beautiful paradise so much. For those who didn’t have the chance yet to go there, it is Heaven on Earth! It is a magic island, when you are there it’s like you are in a completely different world. You have that feeling that nothing else exist besides this land. Beautiful video. Thank you 🤩🤩🤩
Wow! I mean... wow! Breathtaking drone footage matched with cool natural audio tracks, and Blue & Brady’s narration. I’m pretty sure this is the most amazing film I’ve ever seen you guys produce. Guys, the quality both visual an informational of your videos is excellent. Showing us the world in such a beautiful way, thank your for your hard work and rigour! Basically the best sailing channel there is. Thank you and safe travels
oh man.... I keep learning stuff every time. Sean is really knowledgeable with regards to weather/clouds/winds ... I'm really enjoying his involvement with Delos. I would really have liked to see him with Bryan. it would have been cool to listen to them.
I love that view from the drone just at the base of the clouds. Excellent footage, ad Blue's narrative is soothing, like a nature documentary. I think this episode is one of my favs, its just seems to be a really cool place. Well done, crew!
That cloud forest was amazing. Because of the continuous wetness, you get quite unique flora that doesn't exist even a few hundred meters down the mountain. A spectacular episode. The scenery was amazing, and the drone footage was as good as anything I have scene anywhere. Great work.

This is really cool , thanks for the visit and the publicity to our island. The only downside was the huge grafitti you left on our breakwater wall. It's not a permanent problem because the harbour was destroyed by a hurricane and we have to re build. Friendly tip : on your travels, leave a painting the same size as everyone else's , don't need to try and stand out all the time. Happy travels, stay safe!
National Geographic quality plus a little Fun to make it a true Delos film.Congratulations you guys are truly UNIQUE in the You Tube sailing community.
We usually say it's the best ever, can't get any better. This video achieves the label on every level. Filming, sounds, drone shots, editing, and finally add the exceptional narrating of Blue , Brady ,and crew. Thanks Guys🗽🇺🇸
I am from the Azores and you showed me things I
never saw before,great job.
Your from there!? You don’t live there anymore? What has made you move from such what seems to be paradise ?
That intro footage narrated by Blue was mesmerizing. The videography, music choice, editing, and story telling just keep getting better. Well done Blue, Lisa, Ruben, and Brady on creating such an awesome video of this breath taking island!
