im by no means a new player i have 1500 hours between pc and console but i still dont have helminth. There's so many things i dont have access to because the game just doesnt do a good job of explaining stuff. Its the main reason i always end up quitting. So vids like this help someone who has as many hours as i do.
mood Its really annoying that they throw you mail saying "heres this new system" and then leave it at that. You arnt even told about the archon shard merging helmith section unless you rank up the faction

Best warframe UA-camr of all times edit: today i did the farming that you were talking about and i was luck enough to get 3 tauforged shards and 3 of archon shards i was smiling they and i been using a lot of Garuda prime lately and pure crit build and im having a blast with her
Thanks for making this video and covering Warframe. I feel bad you had such a long break from the game. Seeing how low your shards and bile supplies are makes me sad for you :( I am sure you will be stocked up in no time. Way easier to get with all these latest updates.
Honestly for netracells i highly recommend a frame that makes the overall time of the mission be a lot faster. I know a lot of people like volt, maybe gauss as well because they both speed up the extremely annoying "search phase" where you have to run like 1500 meters at the beginning.
Personally i run a 10% strength speedva. You can get through the search phase relatively quick (not as fast as proper speed frames, but still good), especially if you have her wormhole augment although i couldn't fit it on my build. But speedva especially thrives in the actual killing phase because sometimes depending on the room you get, the spawn rates can feel really bad or slow to get into the circle. I used to run wisp in public lobbies when netracells first came out because she was somewhat of a safe frame for me, but solo speedva has absolutely increased my clear time by a lot actually. Saves a lot of time considering i try and do these every weekend.
The tau violet shard using the crit damage is fantastic. Chroma with the damage buff and increased crit damage can obliterate the tough enemies all while face tanking. Then put the tau violet electric damage and you can just plow through even the toughest enemies in the game. I have 1 for crit damage, 1 crimson for strength cause why not, and 2 violet for the electric damage because those 2 get buffed by the other violet and crimson. Naturuk and the Wolf Sledge just bulldoze
That thumbnail needs to be an emote. Starts as one crystal then spreads to match all equipped crystals.
On the boreal hunt the two minions if you have Lex incarnon you can use Xata's to 2 tap them with lex
Violet shard with equilibrium effect is great on frames that don't use the mod. I use it on frost and rhino, because they have overgusrd and never can use health pick ups
I put 3blues for shield with 2 reds for strength on my rhino. Adding molt augmented for additional strength to give him a massive iron skin. TBH it all depends on how you want to play.
I just want to see how high you can get the Rhino Armor. Either as a solo build, or as a full group of people to buff him
My favorite end game content is literally farming Archon Shards. 😂
1 note for the Secondary archon shards. The bonus ability damge is Multiplicitive so you will see a much bigger damage bonus compared to jsut 15% strength
Lets say you have an ability that deals 100 damage and you have +200 strength on your build
A single crimson shard will produce
100*(1.00+2.00+0.15)=315 damage
If instead that shard was a Secondary colored damage buff you get
100*(1.00+200)*(1.00+0.15) = 345
This is with a small starting damage (less than radial disarm in fact) and the difference will 100% be shown

I have one question really
Are Archon shards like how old arcanes were when you had to have multiple sets to use on different warframes? Or are they like arcanes now where one set (Shard in this case) can be used on all frames?
So, if I have 1 CRIMSON Shard, can that be used on all my 30frames? Or would I need 30 shards?
The ability damage is so restrictive and it may be. Multiplier but it literally works on so litttle abilities you cant even make a natural chroma effigi build with the ability damage cause it doesnt count the skin as the ability just a spector

Blue Archon shards are only worth it if your frame can't shield gate or overguard gate. Aka they have use cases on frames like Nidus and Inaros.
For Violet you can go Melee Crit damage on Dagath with Kullervo sumsube to make even the tutorial weapons hit damage cap soooo there is that.
@@ExcaliburGT I mean sure, they give SOMETHING but for a finite resource like archon slots, wasting them on blues is really just not worth it even on the frames where there are SOME use cases. On the vast VAST majority of frames you'd get more out of literally any other shard.
I use blue shards quite a bit, but only 1-2 of them on frames that are in that weird spot where their base energy pool is too low to be comfortable, but Primed Flow is just overkill. I do feel that Blue Archon Shards overall need bigger numbers to be worth it outside of that niche situation.
They do need some love, especially since they're now part of the fusion for Violet/Emerald shards aka the 2 best shards at the moment...
@@bluepittgames3551 you are severely underestimating the use of the energy max stat. A lot of times archon shards are nice because they can replace and free up a mod slot. Being able to throw on a couple blues instead of primed flow is actually really nice.
@@timklafke4712 not sure there are enough Warframe mods that are worth their salt that I'd sacrifice archon slots just to free up my primed flow slot.
@@bluepittgames3551 all the corrupt mods (narrow minded, blind rage, transient, etc.), intensify, continuity, stretch, augur reach, augment mods, rolling guard, streamline, health/shield mods if you like to play with those, primed sure footed, equilibrium, adaptation. Even being able to throw on something niche like vigorous swap or preparation for some missions would be nice. There is absolutely value in being able to replace primed flow, unless its a frame that REALLY needs the full energy max benefit from it.
You know the crit bonus from violet shards is twice as high as crimsons if you have 500 energy?

The Orange shard is only good if you have a secondary weapon that you wanna build to reach 100 critical chance with 100 status already but that’s it😂
And mesa build uses it very powerful pure red crits if you build it right
if you remove a shard from a warframe do you get the shard back or not?
You get it back, you don't lose the shards but you need to feed the helminth again in case you need to remove more than one
What shards do you guys put on xaku?

I'd say a Tau casting speed shard for sure. After that it depends on your build, box breaker Xaku would love parkour velocity, energy filled on spawn and increased energy gain for energy orbs while regular Xaku builds would love red shards to hit specific duration/strength goals.
DE should make a segment that allows you to take 2 regular shards that are the same color and infuse them to be talforge

What I'm trying to say is that we should be able to make a talforge Shard by combining two regular shards of same color?
NOT combining to get (Green, Purple, Orange) Ex: x2 Regular Blue = 1 Talforge Shard
It takes 3 and such a segment already exists if you have the Coalescent Segment unlocked.

The only thing I feel this system lacks right now is an option to transform 1 shard into one of the other 2 colors. I don't know about other people, but for some reason I get like 2x the amount of blue shards compared to the other 2 lol
uhh that system exists already and i believe its called "ascension fusion", except its 3 shards and not 2 which i think is actually pretty fair (initially they were gonna make it 4)
@@NinjaSyao for me for some reason blues are actually the ones i have the least of lol. Before netracells and archimedia were a thing i used to have way more blue weighting than yellow and red. For some reason rng just hates giving me blues i guess. Overall it is the primary shard type that i use the least, but in terms of the coalescent shards it actually kinda sucks not having more blues

I literally just saw search pulses was a thing and was like oh what does that mean, and so my dumbass has been trying to find out what they are and why they seemed off for me since ive definitely been running the nission more than 5 times.

Im there thinking "it says 0, so how do i get it to count up?" I thought it was trackig how many missions i had done and assumed itd stop me after 5.

You didn't do a good job explaining, and it really puts a bad taste for me on your opinions. Violet equilibrium shards are REALLY good on frames that take heavy advantage of having equilibrium to the point that the equilibrium mod is overkill like Citrine, Nekros, Nezha, and Protea. Freeing up mod/arcane slots for something more powerful while solving your energy problems is not a "skip" on those frames.
No, it's definitely a skip. The amount of violet shards required to come close to the effectiveness of an equilibrium mod is too high. You get a limited number of shards PER WEEK, I cannot in good conscience recommend Investing into violet shards with how scarce archon shards already are, the amount of time they take to get, and due to how good other buffs are from other shards that require less investment / less commitment.
Gentle reminder that just because you have all the time to play Warframe and farm all the shards you want, it doesn't mean other people do.
@@ExcaliburGT I... don't think you even read his whole comment. "To the point that the equilibrium mod is overkill". The point is frames like these don't NEED 100% efficiency on the conversion because they already have decent energy/health suppliers. But, specifically with protea because its the main one i play out of this list, it would also be somewhat of a waste not to have equilibrium since she generates tons of health orbs with the same ability that gives energy. So slap on a single violet equilib shard and you get the effect without needing to waste a mod slot. Absolutely worth it.
I can kinda see both sides. Whilst violet shards have IMO 3 of the top 5 most powerful buffs attached, their uses are all niche and not suited to things a new player will get value investing in.
5 violet Kullervo, Valkyr or Chroma are busted but that's 10 shards for a specific build.
One violet on a 200 strength Citrine will make Fractured Blast free if it hits 2 enemies but that's 1 frame. Maybe 4-5 others can get value in this way.
Same with Azure, they have nice niche uses like Citrine can use one to unlock the punch through evo on Burston Incarnon but again there ia no value there unless you have shards to burn.
I'd argue Valkyr is worth it for new players though as a 5 violet Hysteria Valkyr will trivialise any non-endurance content for a new player. Steel Path, Circuit, Netras and Deep Archimedea are a stroll in the park for her and will help unlock other more engaging frames' potential faster.

I disagree on a few things:
Elemental ability damage buff is effectively a power strength damage multiplier. If you have 200% power strength from modding/arcanes, proc radiation, elecritc, or corrosive, you would get 10% buff to the total damage, making the effective damage 220%. You point out viral which is indeed at max stacks adds a 325% damage multiplier, but the funni damage numbers game calls for multiple different instances of buffs, and this is one of them.
Violet's max 50% critical damage over 500 energy is befitting of 8 out of 9 melee focused frames (including pseudo-exalted incarnon shenanigans). Melee critical damage is quite rare, and if someone were to invest 5 violet Tauforged Archon Shards for a max additional 370% Critical Damage buff, be my guest.
Several Archon Shard buffs are great for comfortability, when you're build is good but you want some QoL. Amber's Preparation effect is an awesome niche way for not needing to spam energy pads at the start of missions for some. The bonus effectiveness for health and energy ones are quite potent on frames that can spawn the orbs and can compensate greatly. The Violet's Equilibrium doesn't require a mod slot and can be a good way to passively gain energy back and restore from chip damage with energy orbs.
And Topaz is... Yeah I see what DE was doing and I like it, but not potent enough for the max health one and they didn't balance the blast-gating one well once it got nerfed. Although, I think many content creators forget how many great weapons do innately have blast.
