Hey IB - I've just installed a full arrow system (Race-Pro muffler) on my S1KRR and the noise is absolutely insane. Even with earbuds, it's almost too loud for regular highway stuff. Do you use any ear protection during your S1K rides, and if so are there any brands you recommend?
Hey Adam. I use my Samsung Galaxy Earbuds Pro when riding my M 1000 RR. I use the noise canceling feature and it works great.

Just remember, BMW means bring my wallet. I have two friends that ride BMW 1000"s. Both with blown engines.
Two of my friends have BMW 1000's, and both of them have a. blown engine
Get a Suzuki GSXR 1000 instead, much faster and more reliable, will easily last a hundred thousand miles with no issues and much cheaper maintenance and better price.
My 2019 s1000 M package is 40.000km and it still works fine. I use the full throttle like crazy many tomes and nothing happened to it.
Pretty much same performance, btwin these 2 gorgeous machines 👌... though BMW sounds just 🤩🎉

No it doesn't. The 2021 and 2022 MRR did consume oil but that issue has been corrected for 2023-24.

Hey 650lb have you had any engine issues with your m1000rr ?
None at all. I've purchased 18 BMW S 1000 RR since 2010 and never had an issue.
@@650ib yeah I’ve had a lot s1000rr too but I meant the m1000rr engine has it been ok for you ? (It’s not the same engine) I had mine in for repair and just wondered as I’ve seen so many issues online.
@@theonlyredspecial the 2021-22 M1000RR engines consumed alot of oil. They fixed this issue with the 2023 and newer bikes. My 2023 is flawless.

My carbon Ducati 1199 weighs in on 147 kg (324 lbs) dry weight with no fluids! Match that if you can??!
Dry weight is pointless as u can't use it like that. What's it with oil fluids and full tank of petrol

In absolute terms, these machines are the fastest when the tank is close to empty. Ib, do you feel a difference between different levels of fuel in the tank ?
