What I need is a comprehensive set of instructions for my Inspire. Sometimes it shows the time, sometimes something that looks like the time but isn't. The interface highly non-intuitive and inconsistent. Sometimes I'll be able to flip through eight different screens (steps, calories, minutes of _something_...), sometimes only a few totally different screens. Sometimes pushing the side button does nothing, sometimes it appears to reset _something_. I was never able to get it synced with my Windows 10 PC, despite a long online chat session with customer support. (My spouse has an iPhone, so we ended up syncing it with that.)
Thank you so much! Glad you found it helpful. I don’t know about the elliptical exercise; great question. Perhaps someone else here knows? Or maybe Fitbit has some thing about it on their website…?
Hello Erin, thanks for the review! To confirm, does the Fitbit Inspire track distance? It looked like it did in the video... And does it track calories burned and active minutes during swimming? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for the compliment! I would say no, that is very not normal. Check to ensure you are getting good contact when charging, and it charges fully to 100%. If it is dying that quickly, I would reach out to Fitbit to help troubleshoot. Perhaps you just have a bump unit.
On the tracker itself, under "sleep" all I see is a moon and nothing else. How do I get the sleep area to show... something? BTW, I loved the rest of this video!
@@ErinLawrenceTV That's possible because it finally started working 3 days ago. It was syncing with the program but now it's syncing to the Inspire; whew!
My phone that my fitbit was linked to got water damaged. I have a new phone with a different number. Could you please tell me how to connect it to my new phone
I need to know if there's a plane tracker for disable people that just needs one for counting their steps and checking their heart rate. I don't understand all that computer stuff. Thank you
can someone please answer this question for me. Say i go biking and i wear this fitbit but i dont have my phone on me as i dont have data does it still count my step calories burned etc ??
Does the calories tell you how much you have burnt? I am super confused since if it does tell you how much you burnt mine is always like 1350cal and I haven’t even been very active?? Can someone help me out
That 1350cal that it always shows is your basal metabolic rate based on your age, height, weight and sex. That’s basically how many calories your body burns at rest (baseline).
Can anyone help me, I have a new Fitbit inspire but it doesn’t seem to count my steps properly, for instance when I get up in the morning it says I have taken 522 steps, or when I’m sitting down watching tv it adds steps, I’m very confused M
As far as I can tell, its only idea of exercise is walking / running. So it will count your steps, and monitor the time, and if it is intense enough, it will call it exercise. That seems pretty accurate, in my somewhat limited experience. But it doesn't monitor heart rate, so if you are doing weights, for example, it won't count that as exercise.
Don’t waste your money on this device. It will register steps if you are sitting at desk typing. It registers movement when you are driving. It’s completely inaccurate even for walking. The Fitbit forums are full of. Complaints and the companies answer is to turn it off when driving or manually edit the amount of steps in the app. It’s a waste of money. Do not buy.
Your review was short and to the point! Exactly what I need. Thanks!
After your review, i kinda want it now, i just want the basics and dont feel the need for a heart rate. Ive been using a fitbit flex for 7yrs.
Just purchased one of these through my workplace’s health & wellness program. Your review was very informative! Thank you!
Great intro Erin, will definatly search for you for future reviews. Thanks. X

It does track distance yes, and calories. Active swimming, I'm not sure.
Stride length = great knowledge to have. Thanks!
Will it display date and day of the week on the main display or do i have to toggle or scroll the screen to see the date each time?
so only text message? what about notification like facebook, whatsapp ?
Best video out there for sure!
One question : is it normal that the battery die quickly in less than 12 hours went to 100% to 76%

if you did a fitbit restart, then yes.
Can you tell me how to change the format from month day to day and month? I can't see to do it
I think the watch faces are limited and don’t allow for that level of customization…
Does this device track calories when you exercise, eg: jumping rope etc or doing outdoor running??
rayyaan D yes it does
Nice but do this have an alarm clock?
Yes
It does!
Yes it does
It also has a silent alarm!
This was a great review. Thank you.
Thank you so much Lesley.
Hi. Very informative. This fitbit inspire match to samsung mobile phones? Im not sure thats why i need to ask😉 thank you!
Yes it does!

Hi! Does anyone knows if this tracks when you go biking? Thanks in advance!
Hi , how to calibrate the inspire hr ? Pls ?? Thanks

Fitbit in particular is very user friendly. If all you're interested in is heart rate and steps, yes it's a good pick for you.
clear and concise review, thanks!
My thing is I'm an avid watch wearer, and I feel that upgrading to one of this (I currently use the fitbit flex for 7 years) would replace my watch.
Jay! I’ve seen you make this very comment on another video.
I think I know how to fix it not connecting; remove your previous Fitbit first.
What is the firmware update? I have hard time to sinc it with the android phone since the update 7/27.
Does the Inspire have a timer or stopwatch?
It has a timer and a stopwatch, yes
Hi Erin!
Does it track one's running pace and distance as well?
Distance for sure, but I’m not sure about the pace. I am not what you call a runner…
@@ErinLawrenceTV Haha, fair enough! Thank you :)
Do I need to run with my ifhone to track my HR with this? Hate running wit my fhone.
This model doesn’t track heart rate.
donalduck815 what’s a fhone?
can someone please answer this question for me. Say i go biking and i wear this fitbit but i dont have my phone on me as i dont have data does it still count my step calories burned etc ??
Yes it will count the activity. Once you sync with the phone it will update to the app.
@@ErinLawrenceTV thx much appreciated :)
Does the calories tell you how much you have burnt? I am super confused since if it does tell you how much you burnt mine is always like 1350cal and I haven’t even been very active?? Can someone help me out
Yes, It's estimating how many calories you've burned by moving. test it by being very active one day and seeing if there's a difference.
That 1350cal that it always shows is your basal metabolic rate based on your age, height, weight and sex. That’s basically how many calories your body burns at rest (baseline).
Can I connect a Bluetooth device to this watch?
Like earbuds ,and can I at music through it
Not this one, as far as I recall
Will this track calories lost on bike rides and what not ?
it tracks the movement so if you don't move often on bike rides, then it won't have a big difference in calories
Does anyone knows if it tracks while boxing?

Hey so I’m a sleepwalker so for me that’s the reason lol, maybe it’s the same for you or you move quite a lot while sleeping
My wife tends to use a tablet more so than her Smartphone, can she download to tablet via the playstore, etc ?
yes its on the app store and play store
Any one tell me Fitbit inspire with Puls or with out???????
Is it waterproof?
Yes.
@@ErinLawrenceTV thank you
Great vid 👍🏼
Thank you Collin!
What is the upgraded band shown in this video?
It's the steel mesh band available from Fitbit's website.
Does anyone know if this has a normal glass screen or a plastic screen?
Does anyone know if i tracks if you swim ?
yes
Excuse me,does it have a timer?
It sure does: help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2259
Will it track miles or kilometers?

Snowflake 1234 Yes, miles and kilometers.
Is this safe to shower in?

Yes
Debolina Gayen Yes. On the box it says up to 50 meters in water
this vid is so helpfull
Thank you so much, Billy!
I'm using Honor band 4 its amazing 👍
What do you like about it?
Can you swipe up?
I LOVE animals yes and when you swipe up it shows exercise, alarms, timers, and settings
How well does it track exercise?
As far as I can tell, its only idea of exercise is walking / running. So it will count your steps, and monitor the time, and if it is intense enough, it will call it exercise. Austin Pundit not true. On the app you can do push ups and lots of work outs
Is it waterproof
Madelyn Dolch she said it did
So your reviews are far and above rare and professional. However, efm radiation--wow, you are asking for trouble
The reminders to move are useless - it just BARELY vibrates. Returning it.
I have a fitbt inspire
Accurate as all GET-OUT .... LOL
Still too expensive
How much money are you making??
Bev Rush only 70 dollars on amazon. Cheaper at kohl’s

Interesting. I’ve never had issues with Fitbit. I find it very accurate though I don’t doubt it can be fooled.
Wouldn't this be the same for all smart trackers ? This one is on par with my tickwatch and Samsung watch ⌚️ on steps?
I have no issues with it. I wear mine on my ankle, because I get more accurate tracking. I find it quite accurate.
K Gamble no... it’s this specific Fitbit device. It doesn’t have gps, and cant differentiate between any kind of movement.
Dale C take the watch off
could anyone tell me if this device has a stop watch please
