Jeri Ryan NEVER broke, not even one bit. She was spectacular.
Seven of nine adds humor through such a unique means. She played her character better than we could’ve hoped. The only thing we’re missing is a one hour long episode where she fights Commander data in an epic standoff
I don't think I would have cared to see Data and Seven of Nine fight. However, a conversation between those two would have been fascinating.
@@mirimon999 Topics covered during conversation: Relevant topics
I'm sure they would have hit it off well 🤣🤣
SEVEN IS A BABE MAN .REAL COOL BABE ,EVEN WHEN SHE IS ON THE SHOW LEVERAGE OF WHICH SADLY IS NOT SHOWN ANYMORE SEVEN AND SOPHIA ARE
THE BABES....
Example, overloads a Heirogen's console from few light years away, lol
Noooo! Not a stand off! She would WIN!
(watches UA-cam for hours) This activity is truly unproductive. The end result has no use, no necessary task has been accomplished. Time has been expended. Nothing more.
Sounds about right
Welcome to being alive.
@@supremeownage8995 That's why you find or make productivity, unless all life is meaningless.
Yep. Ands it’s so. Much. Fun.
It teaches how humans work mentally speaking, in this way you find out how they think...then use it to deal with them, then resistance is futile.
I love how Harry has a crush on Seven until she calls him on it and then he's COMPLETELY clueless as to how to react to her. lol
TRANSLATION: He choked.
Wasn’t man enough to make it happen lol
Clueless...snicker snicker...
No game at all, smh
If you refer to the kissing scene, that was Harry dreaming. It never happened otherwise. Anyway, his heart was given to Libby.
Savage of Nine
😂 😂 😂
Riiiight
Interesting...I'd like to see a knock-down drag out between her and Worf. They'd wall-to-wall the whole ship.
Yummy of nine 🥰🥰😆
I'm glad she turned out to actually be a good character and not just eye-candy, even if that was the initial intent.
Seven and the Doctor were the two best characters on Voyager imo
These nutritional supplements are unacceptable.
They are *pungent* 7:31
😂
She's so hot even when cracking us up!
Seven of nine is one of the rare cases where the intention of the eye candy on the show became a great character. Poor Kes was more of a prop than an actual character… no offence to the actress who played her.
@@Dukkyjames200agreed.
Seven of Nine was "unique"...
@@Dukkyjames200
T'Pol was the same, even more drop dead gorgeous than 7/9, which is a damn high bar.
These two actors are so complete. They have broad talent, not only for acting, but singing, dancing and I suspect that several episodes stories were inspired by their talents.
Harry, when Seven asks you if you want to copulate, you say YES!
Looks like Winston Smith needed to be on the crew of Voyager:
ua-cam.com/video/I6LD6ITN2dk/v-deo.html
At least she wont hurt you Cryofax.
I know it is 3 yrs but who cares.
She is getting hotter as she ages not.
Heck yes
idiot
Cryofax I’d gladly copulate with Seven of nine!!!
Q: "Why do they call you Seven of Nine?"
A: "Because I have to squeeze my size Nine body into a size Seven catsuit."
Very good answer!
Production value!
😂
Size is Irrelevant...
Not at first. It took a while for the writers to find the right balance between her 'directness' and making her human enough to be relatable. Her relationship with Naomi Wildman (the only child on the ship) did wonders for her character as Naomi looked to Seven as a role model.
Be fair, though. Her character had a long and nuanced arc throughout Voyager. By the time that little girl was d enough to speak, Seven was only on the ship a short while. While Naomi had the help of many crew members, so did Seven. Their growths into members on the ship paralleled each other well.
Maybe that’s just me, though. At any rate, you might never see this comment as it’s seven years old. Heh, Seven.
The writers had some time to figure it out. Seven was, after all, only newly disconnected from the Borg Collective. She had to learn how to be human again.
She's a well balanced mix of contradictions. Terse, indifferent to emotionallity, arrogant without excusing herself, and a perfect mastering of sarcasm and irony. And all that packed in the sexiest form man has ever layed his eyes upon. Very confusing. Very pleasant. She's fushion per exellencce.
"You KILLED him?"
"It was a mild shock he will recover"
Seven is my best friend now
8:47 Hirogen: *grunts while being electrocuted*
@@delbrorlni6676 he's lucky it's not more than a mild shock.
Yeah, I think that was the general reaction by everyone.
"Seven, if you don't get it, then I can't explain it to you."
"Obviously"
Bringing in the Borg and Seven really made this show great. The writing for the series seemed to really pick up with some good stories after season 4.
Bringing in the Borg saved the show, it had been getting boring, audience figures were dropping and it was considered that Voyager was done, Jeri and the Borg did save the show and it ran on for a few more seasons !
Too bad Kate Mulgrew hated Jeri's presence on the show. Their character's relationship on the show were one of my favourites.
I think it was only a matter of time before they introduced a borg character seeing as they had episodes in TNG where a borg / borgs were disconnected from the collective. The Borg always were a fan favourite, plus it opened up a whole new thing for storylines where 7of9 could explore things whilst she regains or explores her "humanity" as she integrates into Starfleet (as with the EMH), similar to Data in TNG.
I thought seven was amazing but I also thought the Borg were pretty overused. In TNG and early Voyager they were this epic, intimidating and nearly omnipotent enemy. By the end of voyager they were going toe to toe with cubes on a regular basis
@@pioneer_1148Borg went from unimaginable horror to a minor inconvenience to the main goal that led them astray for a bit. I saw a joke somewhere that you could tell from the music in the episode on how seriously you should take Borg presence.
that awkward moment when your photon torpedo turns out to be a nanoprobe....
😂😂😂
ouch
A Nano Penis ?
My favorite character. Really enjoyed the flashbck. She was so amazing, even through all the jealousy and petty harrassment. So happy that Patrick Stewart isnt afraid to share the spotlight and is self confident enough to have her in Picard. ♡
Jeri Ryan's performance in "The Voyager Conspiracy" is legendary.
"Logic is irrelevant"
I'd like you to discuss this with a vulcan please, thank you
Hehe
I’d like to see Vulcans and the Borg in a debate. Actually the borg would probably end their argument with ‘We are borg’
@@adamhamilton8313 That would be like Sheldon talking to Alexa
She WAS discussing it with a Vulcan please, thank you.
You are one of those people who want to watch the world burn arn't you?
5:17 “you assume correctly” that cold face - I’m done ❤️
I read the introduction of Seven of Nine really boosted the series. I can't wait to watch this series, but first I'm watching ST: The Next Generation.
This is all pure gold. Honestly, this stuff is as legendary as WWF Attitude Era. We just won't see it this good ever again.
"Resistance is futile."
They brought in Seven's character to save the series. Oh and they did!
Too bad they only later fucked it up in ST:Picard.
Seven of Nine had her Steve Urkel moment and it worked
I liked it when she said "You did designate him a windbag".
Seven was an unusual character; Frankenstein's Weird Science monster with equal parts softcore lad's fantasy and genuine conduit to exploring humanity. In both cases, incredibly well acted.
What happened to that awkward conversation?
"Children assimilated by the Borg are placed in maturation chambers for seventeen cycles."
(awkward pause)
"Interesting... well, if you'll excuse me, I need to go talk to Neelix."
"In these... maturation chambers, the development of conversational skills is, I suppose, a low priority?"

(That always makes me laugh, and why I love her) XD
Neelix teaching Seven to eat. Both funny and sweet.
When she walked down the ships corridor it was a best moment. 🍻
Seven of Nine was a brilliantly-conceived, brilliantly-written and brilliantly-acted character of the Star Trek universe. Jeri Ryan was perfectly-casted for this part. Star Trek Voyager is one of my favorite Star Trek series. 😊
Its 2020 and i just discovered this amazing show!
you will have fun
Congratuations.. I was hooked for a while back when it was on tv lol Enjoy!
Seven of Nine and The Doctor are 2 of the best characters in the Trek universe. It would be nice to see The Doctor come back in Picard. Even if only a cameo.
Agreed . They are two great characters.
I would love to see Jeri Ryan reprise her role as 7 of 9 as the captain of a star ship.I think it make a great show.

RE: "I would love to see Jeri Ryan reprise her role as 7 of 9 as the captain of a star ship.I think it make a great show."
That's a very good idea, which means that Hollywood will never do it.
Walter Johnson haha...... at least a starship suddenly stranded in the Delta Quadrent is good.
Captain Seven or would it be Captain Nine? Either way I think it would be that her Husband Chakotee would be captain and she would be chief engineer which would give her an interesting range of possible Dynamics with the other engineer crew who are hesitant to work with a former borg
gforce4all no because she no longer is a sex object for nerds
gforce4all how is she not Borg?
Seven of Nine is finally back in Star Trek: Picard Series

10 seconds, man... Only a measly ten seconds... (snif)
Actor was actually gay.
You wouldn't know it by the way he reacted to the script. He even had an idea about making Harry heroic to Seven so she would eventually fall in love with him.
Small penis syndrome.
Goodness, when her hair is just a bit messed.... :P
Great acting, humor, total courage in the face of adversity. Awesome character work. STAR TREK RULES!
Can you imagine how Seven of Nine would annoy Malcolm Reynolds?
Someone needs to make a fan fiction about that scenario.
+Joshua Yes... but he would also be a bit scared of her, seeing that she can like pummel him in casual combat.
That's one thing I always loved about Mal, people could kick his butt, he wasn't superhuman.
If it was a life or death fight though I bet Mal would just empty his Volcanic into her while screaming like a little girl.
She started out as eye candy , but in my opinion became the star of the show in the later part of the series ..... and they brought back Seven Of Nine for Picard ... that says it all ......
Picard was so bad What were
they thinking?
"That probably makes you the most intelligent human being alive."
"... Probably."
"So, what do you need the rest of us for?"

@Chris Martin -- You mean she can only take 7 of 9 inches?
Every moment when 7 of 9 was on screen is a best moment!
Jeri Ryan was one fabulous looking Borg.
I had six dogs and another showed up. I named him "Seven of Canine."
7:24 "Resistance is Futile" - I don't see any resistance here! XD
Imagine how Jeri Ryan felt playing this character, probably the most fun she's ever had in a role.
IDK she said the initial borg outfit almost gave her a stroke b/c it compressed her carotid and she kept passing out. Also, some issues with the silver outfit being extremely uncomfortable, not to mention the tension with Kate Mulgrew.
@@maryann2970 Aye. She really did a great job bringing Seven to life given the physical constraints of her costumery and the chill work-place relationship with her 'boss'.
I wish Seven of Nine would have somehow met Hugh from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
I would have loved to see an episode or six where she meets Data.
@@RoxyGotMoxy. This exact situation will likely happen in the new "Picard" series, since both Data and Seven are cast members.

ChaseTerrier oh sweet child
Huh. Maybe one day
At 02:50 "take off your clothes" Harry missed a big opportunity, he was not expecting
"How did you get this information?"
"We are Borg."

Crazy!! I'm an INTJ and she came up as an INTJ character with that type of personality and some of the things she says on here, I say in real life.
Brilliantly written character. Kudos to the writers. (And to you a wee bit for posting it!)
I think what Seven actually meant to the series was that it finally got a spectrum-y character like Spock, Data and Odo. Tuvok was just too comfortable to fill that role... he wasn't really having much of a journey as a character. Spock had to deal with Kirk who was his polar opposite, Data wanted to be human, Odo was one of a kind for most of his life. On Voyager we had Tuvok who didn't really struggle with much unless he was near Neelix and the EMH who had way too much of an attitude despite being very analytical. Seven finally filled that vacuum - outwardly confident yet completely lost, extremely analytical but with much to learn, on a journey to regain her humanity.
Spectrumy??
Maybe Voyager was a bit cheesy from time to time, but it's been a part of my childhood and will always hold a special place in my heart.
"A bit cheesy from time to time" is a description I think you could apply to anything Star Trek.
A more accurate name for her would have been "10 of 10".
Or 6 of 9 😏
she put the sigh in scifi......
Every interaction between Seven and Tuvok throughout the series is so brilliant. They literally never disagree even if they dont like eachother because they both operate on logic. Tuvok usually has more to add to the logic, though, considering as he is "more" biological.
You do have a lousy bedside manner. Why bring it up now XD
Tom Paris, The Doctor, Tuvok and Seven were the best for the comedy.
Frankly the line "Resistance is Futile" is right out of Doctor Who. It is what every conquering being would say to those they plan to conquer and or destroy... How very human.
7 to neelix: your dense muscular structure will make an excellent drone
"This lesson is terminated." I had to laugh!
Neelix: I never asked to be brought back!!!
Seven: You were dead at the time.
7:48 "You're rude." Says the pot to the kettle.....
“Don’t be alarmed. I won’t hurt you...permanently.”
good show man, I love when nelix shows her how to eat...classic. Also her and the doc had such a good chemistry it was fun to watch. Like geordi and data, not the same thing but those 2 together you knew they were best friends :)
I saw the episode of Seven of Nine becoming a member of the crew and Kes leaving it. I must say... I welcomed the change. Seven presented a dilemma so enteristing in the finding of humanity. The different relations and banters with the crew. The humor.
Seven made Voyager a series with a new level of greatness. Like a Borg.
2:41. The moment where resistance is indeed futile and prepare to be “assimilated”.
If she asked me to take of MY clothes, i would've would've spun out of them like the freakin' Tasmanian Devil! haha!

6:49 Me on a party without finding somebody to talk about science.
I look back on the series and I really think there was a missed opportunity for a real relationship, or at the very least friendship between Seven and Harry. His character was mostly stuck in a creative rut with the writers unsure what to do with him. The events of Scorpion could have been a turning point for him, perhaps facing death made him more serious, or during his infection by Species 8472 he could hear their thoughts and obtain their knowledge, something that would have caused friction between him and Seven as he saw things from her opposing perspective. Could have really reinvented his character and over time they could have developed mutual respect for each other and then by the time season 7 rolls around, things could have gone further. Star Trek never has a single main character, voyager could have more evenly split the spotlight between everyone and Harry could have come into his own as another Sulu or Chekhov.
Seven is essentially Spock/Data/Worf or any number of "outsiders" in Star Trek, commenting on humanity from a perspective other than human. Except in a sexy blonde body and with a backstory that creates plenty of opportunities for further drama and exploration of humanity. Pretty cool stuff, and it may explain in part why she's back for the new series.
When 7of9 tells you to take off your clothes, YOU TAKE OFF Y OUR CLOTHES DAMN IT HARRY!
He pussy as hell
I know, what the hell was he thinking? Maybe that's why future Harry always looked and sounded so depressed, that moment haunted him for the rest of his days!
"Take off your cloths"

As a female, that was funny. Men would run in terror.
They would fear having to pay child support!
Yeah. Sure. I would have taken my shit off almost immediately lol
Child support would be fucking scary when a missed payment results in assimilation
Especially if you don't pay a Cube might show up.
A lot of men would immediately suspect an ulterior motive...
To me sounds like a good reason to have a badass pullout routine built into your bedroom one, or a condom in your car/pocket or two...but maybe borg are to efficient for that and just want to get something into that maturation chamber lol
Jeri Ryan......
I used to cover my eyes when you came on the screen. As a kid you made me feel things i didn't know about.

Seven of Nine, the most badass autist that television has ever seen.
Millenniumhand she did base her character on someone with autism it was interesting but I think the sculptured catsuit was over the top
@@Dancestar1981 same was stated by the actress, and while one of producers early talked about 'borg babe' they later acknowledged, that it was the intention initially to boost ratings, they had overdone it. Indeed, the message could have been delivered without the suit being used so frequently. Thankfully, later in series she got more reasonable clothing. I'm very grateful to Jeri Ryan for keeping with series to the end and writers who made sure that her acting and character she played run deeper than her suits and obviously stunning appearance.
Millenniumhand and shrimp those with Asperger’s syndrome are not robotic like that though, we tend to react more like B’elana unless we have the means of control over our emotions and then we would respond more in tune with Janeway to be honest
