One benefit that wasn’t mentioned to why doing all starred difficulties for a sub-chapter at once, rather than completing the entirety of a star difficulty before coming back, is the fact that you have a better memory of what’s in the stages and how to counter them. This was my personal preference and I do recommend it. That being said, if the difficulty of stages is the problem for you, then it may be better to focus on completing a single star difficulty before moving on to the next.
I do the same. Not because it’s easier, but because you feel like you are actually making progress. Finishing all 2 Crown will just remind you that you gotta do it 2 more times… Finishing all 4 at once means that you are officially done!
Great video esp from someone who have been clearing starred UL recently too lmao 4 star is absolutely much easier than 3 There's a couple of stuff I'd like to add though, I'm honestly surprised by the lack of mention of Superfeline. Dealing with the Sirrels in Kuala Lumpool is incredibly easier with it as it's a full backswing unit that just deletes sirrel. Also helps clear off stuff like relic doges in Retreat of the living dead. Also helps rush down Othom or Puffington or even Luza where Idi rush might not be able to clean up in higher stars. And even outside of relic is still an incredible rusher for stages like Happily Ever After. Yeah 15k UR is not easy to reach, but if you're doing starred UL i feel like it's very much not unrealistic to have it. It's incredibly helpful. Also lack of Royal Guard mention too which easily destroys Chapel Transfer and many many other stages, but I get that since RG is very new and so you might not have much time to revisit stages with RG. Another thing worth mentioning is, uh ad continues LOL that's how I ended up beating Adventurer's Journal. I try not to for most UL stages but certain specific stages that the players don't wanna bother definitely just consider using your ad continues. It's 3 star UL there's no shame in that. Last thing is I think some of the early UL chapters are where I actually had to pull out ubers the most where latter ULs are more bearable without ubers. You did already mention the early crazy magnification but I think it's also important to really emphasize on how TERRIBLY balanced early starred ULs are as they contain some of the strongest enemy magnifications in the game. So if people just started their early starred UL journey and got overrun by overbuffed enemies, rest assured the enemies actually just gets easier in later chapters lol But yeah that aside great video. Maybe there's a couple of other stages worth highlighting too but I think this is good enough to get some important stages out of the way. Shoutouts to 3 star Cursing The Curser, that stage was oddly really fun for how generic it is
I think the lack of Superfeline in the guide is because of how hard and tedious is to get him, yes he is absolutely busted as Sir Rel counter, but most regular people will not grind their ass off just to get a 20 +19 piece of garbage, and since this guide takes ubers into account (for the casual players), Superfeline gets neglected even more.
@@gato_futurista Getting superfeline dupes from a fresh save is honestly really not that bad at all. That's what I've learned from Returner Mode. I have not grinded super metal hippoe ONCE in my whole save file and the grind for 15k UR is harder than grinding for Superfeline dupes. By the time I hit 16k UR, I already have like 20 dupes of unused Superfelines when it's already +90. Without grinding. IMO Superfeline grind was viewed as terrible for people who have already completed the game really far before the Superfeline update dropped, and in end-game there's not as much ways to get silver tickets and you're forced to grind. But if you progress normally, getting SF dupes is only going as naturally as getting every other basic cat dupes.
Oh yeah I forgot about feline, great unit that destroys tons of relic stages but because of accessibility reasons I usually avoid him. Though in a endgame guide like this he's definitely accessible to at least a decent chunk of players, my bad for not at least mentioning him. As for royal guard, I didn't really mention stuff related to the giga new units, which is also why I you never see slime's TF here (plus I thought rushing CT was easy enough) but yeah these are great additional tips for today's clearers.
As somebody who is currently grinding Crowned UL and is currently making videos on it, I’m glad you released a video like this. Gives me more motivation to work on these ridiculously hard stages, despite how much I hate some of them :)
The order I prefer is doing 2* and 3* back to back so I don't forget how the stage is like. Then do all the 4* since I'm gonna use radically different loadouts
For hell’s crater, what worked for me was to use uril to stall medusan. Then, the dread bores should burrow past uril. After that, spam cat chief and other anti-zombies to nuke the dread bores as quickly as possible. On three crowns difficulty, the second bore could be alive; but don’t worry, he should be low by the time medusan arrives. Just keep deploying your zombie and aku counters and you should win. Also, the fact that the answer for a lot of these stages is cheesing or rushing them should say something about how flawed the difficulty scaling is
What was weird about UL 3* was that I found it really hard early on, then pretty fine through the middle but then a lot of the stages in the last 10 chapters of UL were just super hard for me. It could be because those stages were less powercreeped since dudes like Esoteric Uril weren’t around at the time, but it was an interesting change in pace. 4* was pretty fine except for stuff like glass slippers

Kasli is good enough in most situations. Also, you got two great Ubers. Aphrodite is a great alien backliner and Yukimura, especially with talents, is kinda nuts in his niche. Yukimura is probably in the top 20, maybe 15 Ubers in the game. TLDR: goated rolls.

my strat for UL: use dawnbringer izanagi/professor abyss for traited and dasli/dark phono/jagando for traitless. in other words, my strat for UL: UBERCARRY (my main loadout beat about half of UL and it has 6 ubers.)

Just an unrelated question, have ya'll played The Battle Bricks? it's essentially TBC but in Roblox and although there's no Seasonal Event Stages, True Forms, Rankings, nor Talents, You don't have Energy to wait before you play so you can grind the until you want to stop, also there's , in addition to being TBC like Difficulty, there are "Easy" (Shows Health of Enemies) and "Hard" (All enemies are evolved forms) Mode in this game... Oh and Once you Completed the Chapter until 3 stars, You Use Sandbox to do Stupid/Fun/Experimental Stuff... Lastly is the Game is still not Finished and no roadmap , but it will occasionally Update (and cause uberfests) I hope this is helpful for those who are curios tho😊
for the big monke stage (revival of origin) you forgot to mention cat-10 gigapult. he absolutely makes a joke out of the stage so much so that i beat 3 star revival of origin barely after beating dogumaru 3 stars

After putting off 2-3* UL after no hope ranch peeved me off i recently got back into the grind and found it to be fun. Found out half way through the uril TF absolutely slams most stages, which is a shame since he boxes out other relic CC options like Himiyuri and Kenshin. Happy Lucky Temple was the first time in years i used a continue since that stages are so much fun but kinda Bs.
The only reason why UL 3-star/crown is beatable is because of Future Cat babyyyyy yeaaahhh you know him, he is the best Relic meatshield in the entire game The Battle Cats woooooo, I guess Cone Cat also helps In all seriousness, i kind of "miss" the "old" 3-star UL experience, i never got to play it bc i was an ubercarried mf on my first save file, but seeing absolutely gigantic stats against your silly goobers that beat the same stage on 1-star ias painful, but funny in a way, and without the powercreep, it truly felt like a optional yet hellish challenge, which is kind of poetic in a way because that will soon happen with the new ZL subchapters or new Brutal Advents, sure you can ignore them, but will it truly feel like you did everything you could? Will you miss out on the undeniably busted reward? Will you stop your works for Catkind, after all you went through? I don't if i make myself clear but, what i'm trying to say is that, playing those unholy stages without a proper counter, without the ubers the people at PONOS must have thought you will have up to that point, which you probably don't, with ALL of the odds against your favor, yet you decide to challenge the stage and still succeed, i think that feeling will never be the same. I don't think one should use ubers on starred ul if they want to live the entire being rawdogged experience. Strategizing on each and every stage is so much more fun and rewarding than just using a few lineups to beat the entirety of the game. Of course, it's more time consuming
Crown difficulties (guys the name was changed so long ago, there’s no reason to still call it starred, that only confuses new players because star indicates difficulty) are prob one of the worst addition to battle cats. It’s insanely boring to go through _48 chapters_ 4 EFFING TIMES. Maybe if it was only 4 Crown that would be fine, _but 4???_ Honestly what the hell was PONOS thinking

In all seriousness, i kind of "miss" the "old" 3-star UL experience, i never got to play it bc i was an ubercarried mf on my first save file, but seeing absolutely gigantic stats against your silly goobers that beat the same stage on 1-star ias painful, but funny in a way, and without the powercreep, it truly felt like a optional yet hellish challenge, which is kind of poetic in a way because that will soon happen with the new ZL subchapters or new Brutal Advents, sure you can ignore them, but will it truly feel like you did everything you could? Will you miss out on the undeniably busted reward? Will you stop your works for Catkind, after all you went through?
I don't if i make myself clear but, what i'm trying to say is that, playing those unholy stages without a proper counter, without the ubers the people at PONOS must have thought you will have up to that point, which you probably don't, with ALL of the odds against your favor, yet you decide to challenge the stage and still succeed, i think that feeling will never be the same.

I don't think one should use ubers on starred ul if they want to live the entire being rawdogged experience. Strategizing on each and every stage is so much more fun and rewarding than just using a few lineups to beat the entirety of the game.
