Every golfer should be doing Pilates, and here's why:
Pilates will help increase your thoracic rotation and improve your posture, both of which will improve your golf swing. A regular Pilates practice strengthens the deepest abdominals and back muscles, which helps minimize pain and injury. Pilates will help you strengthen and stretch glutes and hips in order to remain strong and mobile on and off the course.

Thanks! Yes - all of it is pretty much prenatal friendly, except for the first parts where you're on your back because there are ab curls involved.

The inhale, blowing up your tummy? I was not taught to full the belly in pilates, I was in yoga. I am under the impression Joseph Pilates intended to expand the rib cage and widen it as he was asthmatic. INHALE through the nose, directing the breath into the sides of the ribs (expanding the ribs laterally)
Hi Judy, belly breathing is our core warm up exercise at the beginning of the workout.
