This didn't work for me just kept putting whole image behind tumbler
Do not let Canva place the background image automatically for you. You have to physically place it and stretch it out for the background. Thanks for watching!
Same idk why
Great video thanks 🤗

Very helpful. 😊 thank you
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
thank you so so much for this video!! my question is if i did the logo as you did how do i lign it up inside the image to see how i want it done
?
Your image has to be a png. Also just upload it and then add it to your mockup as a seperate image. Thanks for watching!
Is the backward option a paid feature? I followed your video but the backward button isnt lit up when I go to it so I can not click on it
Thanks so much for the video!
No it is not a paid function. I really don't know why it would not allow you to undo edit. Maybe someone more familiar with Canva reading this may be able to help. Thanks for watching.
@@SnazzyMoonDesigns IM HAVING this same issue, it doesn't let me send It backward

Thank you 🙏🏾 this is very helpful

I love this technique and its looks so easy when you do it. I followed the same steps and when I send my image backwards it goes behind the tumblers but does wrap around each tumbler. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!!
Make sure your image does not SNAP to the back but remains within the border and then stretch it out to the size you need and then move it to the back. If you let it go to the back on its on you cannot adjust it. I know it is hard to explain but Canva will take a image and automatically make it the back image if you don't move it correctly.
I am having the same problem. Making sure I dont snap the mockup. It still goes to the back. It wont wrap on tumbler. Am I suppose to use specific images and mockups?
Same issue here
Thank You for this video.

Nice and easy
Thanks a lot 😊
very good video but i wonder why it wont work for me i am doing ever step you show but for me it gose back and i just see the white tumblers do i have to subscribe to canva ?
don't let Canva place it automatically. Manually place your image and stretch it out to fit. You don't need to upgrade!
I'm new to this so how does it look when u print it out or.how do u print it out pls. Brilliant video
Most mockups are not printed out. They are used in Facebook, Etsy, Instagram etc, to show what your design would look like on a tumbler. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video
Thanks for the visit
Hi again
I followed all the steps and it turned out great. But when I downloaded and open the mock-up is black. Help please 😕
When you downloaded from Canva did you check the box transparent background?
@@SnazzyMoonDesigns yes
I went back and noticed 2 downloads with it one said w effect so I tried it and download and it came out right. Thank you so much for replying back . Awesome
I was able to do this before but now when choosing backwards it puts the image in the back of the tumbler. Any help with this?
Take a look at this new video I made! You may like it better! ua-cam.com/video/85OyGBXhMK4/v-deo.html
I don't have the option to move the illustrated image to the background. Cannot figure out why?
If you let Canva automatically place your background image for you, you will not be able to move it or adjust it. You have to manually place your background and then stretch it out. Don't let Canva do it for you! Thanks for watching!
Hello. Do you know how to make the rotating tumbler mockup?
You have to purchase a app which I have seen of Etsy. I use a rotating tumbler stand and record a video of my finished tumbler for my Etsy store.
Im currently trying this for my tumblers and i noticed when i try to use the backward button it doesnt allow me to. Ive tried everything and restarted so many times. Any advise?
If you let canva automatically place you background image you cannot move anything back. Place you background image manually.
Do you have to have peo for this to work?
thanks so much!
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
what would cause the backward button to be greyed out all my images are PNG?
Sorry I really do not know what would cause that. Maybe someone with more Canva experience will see this and answer it for you. Or maybe you could ask in one of the Facebook Groups. Thanks for watching.
I’m experiencing this as well. My backward button is greyed out
@@Bluntiam88 Same here :(
Hi great video. But when I click "backward" my entire design goes behind the tumbler 🤦🏽
Make sure you do not let Canva automaticaly place your background design you have to manually place it. I think I covered this in the video. Thanks for watching!
I have been playing around with this program trying to do a mock up on a cup, I followed your tutorial but I keep getting white lines around my image on my cup and I do have the pro. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You
Can you post a picture so I can see the problem you are having?
Sent you pictures in PM
I jsut tried this but my SVG and PNG picture just goes to the back and doesnt wrap around the tumblr that I bought from Etsy. What am I doing wrong?
Do not let Canva automatically place your image as a background. Manually place the image and expand it to the size of the background then you will be able to move it backwards.
after I added image on tumblers I hit the "Position" then "Backwards" as instructed but my image disappears what am i doing wrong? :(
After you add the design go to position and move the design down to the bottom of the list. Thanks for watching.
can you do one for mugs ? please
I will add it to my list of to do videos! Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching!
I must be doing something wrong I followed the steps but when i select backward the pic dont do nothing just goes behind and just the blank tumblers are showing
That is what I do not like about Canva. It will take you image and automatically place it in the background. You don't want to let it do this;. Try to place it in your work area and stretch it out by dragging the corners. Do not let Canva automatically grab and place it because if it does you cannot edit it.
Does the mockup have to be a purchased one? Canva has some tumbler mockups in the "elements" which I am trying to use while using your tutorial but my design disappears every time I click backward. I am first manually sizing the mockup and then clicking on the design but that still is not working. Any advice?
I was looking at the Canva mockups in Elements and they are not really made to be able to place a design behind them and show through!
@@SnazzyMoonDesigns Thank you for your help!
My image for my tumbler keep going behind the image of the mock up and not wrapping around it. How do I fix it
At the beginning of my video I explain how not to let the mockup design be used as a background picture. It will not let you move your design to the back if that happens.
Hello Deanna, I was experiencing the same issue; however, I did not have the correct file. Make sure your mockup is Canva compatible. Ideal Mockups on Etsy have the perfect file.
What if canva doesn't give you the option to send image to the back?
Do not let canva automatically move your image to the back. Drag and drop and then resize the image for the back. Thanks for watching
When I click on position background is greyed out I am using a transparent template. What am I doing wrong
If canva automatically selects your background it will not let you place anything behind it. Try not let that happen. Place your background image in the work area and then resize it.
@@SnazzyMoonDesigns tried that it didn’t work
@@SnazzyMoonDesigns I finally figured it out thank you for your help.
When I try to do this and click on position, it doesn't give me an option to click on backward. It's lighter text that I can't click on.
Sorry I do not know why! Maybe someone will read this and know the answer
Try right clicking or clicking while holding down the ctrl key and then select detach image from background in the menu that pops up. You'll need to make sure the mockup image has a little bit of a white border around it on the page (or at least a little white space on the top/bottom or sides of the image like in this video). Canva automatically attaches the image to the background if it takes up the full page. Then you can't send other images backward. It's kind of a pain that it automatically attaches images to the background. If you're going to put the image on a website where the website background is black or another color other than white, you can change the color of the page background in Canva. (Click on an empty spot on the page and then you'll see a little color square to the left of the word animate at the top of the screen. You can click on that color square to change the page background color).
Great tutorial, but on my canva the "position" button wont let me click on it :(
Don't let your image snap to the background. If it does that you cannot position it.
Mine won’t give me the option to move “backward”. I’m I missing something? The option is graded out
That is why I do not like Canva. Your background automatically sized itself to the back. Try manually sizing it. Do not let Canva automatically do it!
What if it won't let me click backwards
The background image has been placed automatically by Canva and now you cannot click back behind it. When you select a background image do not let Canva place it. You must size and place it manually then you will be able to move images behind it.
Thank you so much🥰🥰👍🙂❤️
You’re welcome 😊
How do you make the actual smart mockup?
I have not made those yet. I buy mine from Etsy. I am going to learn how to do that soon!
Thank you
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Can this not be done with the app on your phone?
I don't know because I do not use my PC. Maybe someone will read this and answer. Thanks for watching!
Thank uu🎉
Welcome 😊 Thanks for watching!
does anyone know why when I click on position, it is greyed out?
Do not let Canva automatically position you template. Stretch it out yourself to the size you want. If Canva does it you cannot move it.
I move it backward and the image dissapears. this happen using the other method too. any advice?
Which image are you moving backwards? Your design or the mockup image? Do not let Canva snap the image to the back because it will not be editable if that happens.
Hi my template disappears when I say send to back . I try go backwards and send to back and it disappears
Make sure you apply your template first and dont send it to back because it will lock in and you cannot place your design behind it. Stretch your template out to the size you want. don't send it to the back. Send your design to the back.
1.000 thanks ❣️
You are welcome! Thanks for watching!
Is there a free version of Canva to make this or is it only a trial? I've never used it before.
Free and then Pro if you want to upgrade
Thank you very helpful
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
I want to learn more on how to make my tumblers seamless. So thank you for videos
i get all the way to the backwards part and it doesnt work
Don't let Canva automatically move your design to the back. If it does then you cannot edit it. You must manually size it and move to the back. That is why I like Affinity Designer. So much easier to use than Canva!
Why can't I do backward
If your Mockup design locks in to the background automatically by Canva you cannot move anything back behind it. Make sure you manually size your mockup design and don't let Canva do it for you.
