I instantly wanted to know everything about these characters the minute I saw them. And I’ve never experienced that before with any other artist, you truly are an amazing character designer! I already see them on Cartoon Network! I want to say please keep doing what you’re doing and please keep pushing the envelope with these characters. Give them personalities and a story we haven’t heard already or that doesn’t already exist in the world you know. You have the opportunity and the potential to really do something with these girls and we can’t wait to see it! If you chose to do so, I mean... no pressure! 😅

I wish she would have shown the back page of the sketch. I keep hearing that Ohuhu markers bleed through the Ohuhu sketchbook.
The paper is thick they don’t bleed to the next page unless you are using a lot of ink but I have used each paper behind the next in mine

I just bought the 72pack and render sketchbook so I’m going to hold off on buying the ohuhu ones and new markers lol. You’re characters are adorable! First thing that came to mind while looking at the thumbnail was that they’d be perfect for a children’s book. I’m glad you pushed yourself!

I found you because I was looking for the sketchbook review but i'm staying for your art. Daaamn your characters are sooo good and seeing you proud of yourself was so uplifting and refreshing. Your bit at the end about the toliet paper pandemic really made me crack up. I'm autistic so when I see illogical behaviour it puzzles me and like you I couldn't understand how hoarding toliet paper was useful as opposed to cleaning supplies. You are bomb 😊💜✌

I was SO excited when I saw your hands in the thumbnail! I'm always happy to support female artists of color. I've subscribed to others but I actually enjoy your personality AND your art style. It's almost 3am but I'm excited to watch more of your videos before bed. Anyone have any suggestions for artists of color? My favorites are Kiara's Studio, EricTFrancis, Zoe Hong, Tatyana Vogt, Sadie Saves The Day, Nurse Nicky Is Learning to Draw & Gabby Wonka (although the last 2 haven't posted in a year) while I support Lucid Neema & Christina Lorre' (They're both great artist BTW).

The markers don't bleed to the next page unless you layer a lot, and it does show up on the back side of the page, but I don't mind it! The paper is very thick, and I'm pretty sure it even comes with a protective sheet to prevent it from bleeding. Hope this helpssss!

Oh! And when you say that they're more textured than the Illo's, the paper isn't like Vellum Bristol or anything, is it? I'm learning coloured pencils atm but I tried some marker pens and they felt... really rough/too immediately absorbent.
Is the paper on the Ohuhu's still reasonably smooth, so the markers don't feel too scratchy? Again, you are a very talented artist! I'm only a beginner and only a colourist (and I am *really* am drawn to colour charts/colour theory) and have only really done gel pens and coloured pencils (but I have sooo much more to learn about pencils in particular), so someone who can do their own drawings like that is just... really amazing to me!
But yeah, is the paper still nice and smooth? I don't want too much texture. Thanks 🤩🌷

Your drawings are really beautiful and like your character designs and I would honestly read your children’s book especially with these characters they seem like they would have a unique story. I’m also currently writing a story and I’m big on reading myself except Im not illustrating it cause that would take a while and while I love drawing and wanna become an artist I’m also a 15 year old who still doesn’t know what she’s doing and doubts my art ( know it’s kinda confusing because of my pfp but I’m using my brothers account lol) anyways good luck with your story and I hope it goes well!

This turned out so nice, I am so picky with sketchbooks, like I just posted my sketchbook tour and finished my sketchbook and even though it was from the dollar store the paper was good for pencil crayons/pencils (not for anything else though.) Since then I'm on the search for something I can use markers, coloured pencils and everything in, this looks good thanks for the review

May I ask what the texture feels like for the Ohuhu sketchbook? I have an illo, I love the smooth feeling but I also need a little texture for my older design ohuhu markers to be my fineliners.
I love making cute characters with thick lines, & the illo won't completely let me do that as easy as the Arteza sketchbook, but those are more expensive where I live, & I'm about to finish my illo sketchbook, so I'm considering buying the illo again or the Ohuhu sketchbook.
You're really great at illustrating! What markers did you use on this? I noticed a few different coloured barrels. Did you use any Copics? Only because I saw another marker pad review, Ohuhu vs Illo, and both of them failed the bleed though when they got out their Copics, but the Ohuhu markers could barely even be seen on the back of the exact page they were done on. Or a Sharpie? Have you tried a Sharpie on it, because I find that the Sharpies go through everything too. 🌷💕
