Nice honest review Marion! And good info to anyone looking to get their first straight, steer clear of Naked Armor! I don't have any straights but I have many shavettes and a °45 shave angle with one would make for VERY bad day🩸🏥 Have a good one! Steve
If The Stallion can put shaving edges on Gold Dollars left, right, and centre, but not a Naked Armour one, that speaks volumes about the quality of the razor.
In my opinion, a Dovo Best Quality 6/8” round tip with a professional hone is the way to get started. The experience is stressful enough getting started, so why use a piece of garbage?
Good effort, can’t have been easy. But it is what it is, definitely not worth the price. Just been looking on EBay over here. Gold dollar 66 razor with a honemeisters edge on it, £20.95 or 25.49 dollars. Have one myself bought a few years back for £15, still use it now and again.
If a person is saying to use a straight at a 45 degree angle, it is obvious that not only have they never used one, but also that they haven't done the slightest amount of research.
Bloopage from the outset is what is called for. Especially when you aren't familiar with a razor.
We know you love the bloopage
A truly lovely looking NA3 shave you have for us, Marion.
Thank you, sir.
Talk about taking one for the team. Thanks for an honest and informative review.
I did not want to do this video to be honest.

Thank you. I agree. 45° is how you end up in the hospital with stitches
Finally an honest review on this razor instead of straight shilling about how great it it lol. Koodos for that MTB. Have a great day bud.
Yeah. Those videos had me pissed when I was researching this razor. Most aren't even putting the razor to their face in those videos
@@marionthebarbarian886 yep, exactly. Definitely not cool.
The razor did not work as intended.
😂😂😂
You rock bro.
Take care my friend.
🤘😃🤘
You got that right!
Just over priced for what it is
Great shave glad you enjoyed the he razor 🎉

Ralf Aust: the "au" is pronounced as "ou" in the word "out".
I knew that, just get in to old habits

Cutting hairs and being sharp are not always one and the same.
Cutting hairs and being comfortable aren't always the same thing
@@marionthebarbarian886 very true
The carry, although they can't pronounce the name, Thiers Issard.
I can't either. Lol

I agree about the honing, but I'm good with any quality brand at $130 or under

I just don't like people getting ripped off. It gives the hobby a bad name

I couldn't agree more
It looks very heavy

I hope your skin wasn't too roughed up by that "razor"
It still doesn't feel great
@@marionthebarbarian886 hopefully a few comfortable shaves will allow it yo reset
Those razors have always seemed like overpriced Gold Dollars.
And they are just that. Lol
@marionthebarbarian886 I have 3 well honed Gold Dollars and they do the job.
@@pjwroblewski and I'm sure you got them much cheaper than $100
