We also jump into our thoughts on the new Audemars Piguet [Re]Master 02. Finally, we talk about brand exhibits and spend some time chatting about a recent visit to the Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva, and what made our jaws drop at the mecca of museums.

The cobra is the kind of stuff AP should be pulling from the archives, and playing with different textures and motifs. A sans gold cobra would be so interesting to see imo
Awesome episode!
I believe strongly, it is time to revew the great Italian Venezianico microbrand. Among others a watch with Lemania restored 1873 chronograph
Many thanks from all fans of Venezianico
With great respect

Good to get the "quote/unquote" quote out the way in the first 4 minutes...
I like the idea of the travelling heritage by Breitling, more brands should do these, the question is;
How do you get people to see them and by people, I mean non Breitling consumers. It needs to eb more strategic rather than sending them to a boutique. A pop up store would have been better.
The theme tune is ben's actual whistling on his way to the bank
yes!
I came here for Hermés
AP Reissue=Too big, I was wondering why they made them drastically larger than the predecessor.
I have had conflicting thoughts of Vacheron doing so much archive reissues and AP going down that route as they have done a few reissues now, I feel it is oddly against the brands ethos of innovation.
In my opinion, all of their originals have been smash hits, even the millenary
What's the watch on the thumbnail?
You know the saying; All roads lead to Rolex, I will bring my version and say that all roads lead to Traditional brands. While I like Micro Brands, I have been in this hobby for more than ten years and I am kind of over going to all the place except for traditional brands. This idea of wanting to be different in my opinion will get old for many. These bigger brands have a record of models and there is continuity, it matters a lot to me. So, I am very open to all watches but my hard earned money goes to the more obvious choices.
Goodness me, PP museum, thanks so much for the tour summary. Not stylish are those toothbrush heads in your ears btw.
Still with the cool thing on the desk. Stop trying to make fetch happen
Great podcast content. Similar to when I watch a documentary and then proceed to spend an hour researching the subject for more information, I felt the need to research where “Upspeak” comes from. Everything in this conversation really sounds like a question if I’m not concentrating 🥹.
