Rules of horror - no matter how scary and evil it gets family doesn't stop sleeping in their own rooms rather than sleeping together And no matter how scary voices coming they will never switch on the lights before looking for where the voices are coming from They be keep searching without switchinh on the lights
It's especially true if you have innocent children. Make sure they sleep alone and never consider sending them to stay with relatives while you deal with the situation.

My son added me to his UA-cam account because I was going to do it myself. It’s the greatest thing ever. No commercials ever and UA-cam continues even when you change apps. You can still hear it. I definitely recommend it.

You want an honest review? I fell asleep while watching this. Woke up and fell asleep again. Woke up, then fell asleep again. But I've gotten too far, to not watch it to the end. And the END? Total disappointment. Yes, that's how bad it is. I feel very unfortunate. But you? You still have a chance. Please... Save yourself.

The number on the door of the moving truck at 1:17 is their real number--I called it and someone answered SafeWay Moving and I said I had the wrong number! I didn't think they let real numbers out like that.
The exorcist sounded and acted authentic . It usually doesn't conclude in one session , but this originated from within the house not the person. Kudos on the exorcism scene .

I found this movie to be very enjoyable! What a husband!!! Grand fright story, refreshingly unusual actors did a fine job with the characters...and a satisfying ending..🎉🎉🎉🎉
As christians this movie, is really teaching us volumes. We must be very careful what we allow in our spirits because the devil is like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour . Lets be very watchful and prayerful too
Amen to that! You find voodoo stuff and/or an ouija board (etc) and don’t immediately get rid of that stuff, or actually even use it, you’re opening doors and asking for (demonic) trouble. Born again Christians can’t get possessed but we can be oppressed by evil! I really enjoyed the film. The mom creeped me out. Acting was solid, the cinematography was very good, and I like Father Bob! I'm a huge fan. It is slow, but appropriately paced for the story told. I feel anything more would take it away from being a grounded and haunting tale. I highly recommend it.

The Priest and the Demon knew each other all too well for just the Priest to do that alone again. He should’ve known he needed more powerful Demonologist to do it with him. That’s y it (Demon) played him and the family at the end. I hated the fathers cluelessness and simpleminded ways 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
My rule is the house have to have some kind of light on in the dark. People need to explore when things first start to get too creepy. If everyone goes through something strange and your neighbors even told U weird stories about the last family. Only get comfortable if U can tell everything is normal. Make sure nothing creepy is happening to anyone. When changes happen U know didn't before then it's time to get together and pay attention. I didn't think this was gonna be good, but I enjoyed it very much. It wasn't the typical possession movie and had a lot of suspense and thrills without being bloody or killling people.
The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: “This is a requirement of the law that the Lord has commanded: Tell the Israelites to bring you a red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke. Give it to Eleazar the priest; it is to be taken outside the camp and slaughtered in his presence. Then Eleazar the priest is to take some of its blood on his finger and sprinkle it seven times toward the front of the tent of meeting. While he watches, the heifer is to be burned-its hide, flesh, blood and intestines.
My father would not allow a ouija board into the house when we were young and forbade us to ever play with one. When I was an adult, he would not lend me the use of his chain saw though he would lend me every other tool. He died long ago from old age. To this very day, I will not use a chain saw. Call it superstition or sentimental respect. Don't tempt fate more than necessary and certainly not for trivial entertainment.
West Coast's answer to "Amityville Horror" This is allegedly based on a true story as was Amityville Horror. There are stories of haunted houses, possessions and such. Again the ouija board comes into play - don't mess with these things. There are places where tragedies have occurred and spirits/forms of energy linger on. Anyway this film was a cliffhanger and thought provoking.
Though I'm not disregarding spirits, I believe Amityville didn't go down the way it's told. If you look into Ed and Lorraine Warren, you will see a lot of it seemed to be a scam. I mean people did die in that house but the Warren's made it be something it wasn't. They are great story tellers at best.

I thought the main characters and the setting were great - but the story could have used a lot more drama and intensity in place of the couple of jump scares we got. Instead we ended up with a low grade build up to an anticlimactic ending. And I'm sorry but the neighbors' acting in the scene at their house was just awful.

My father would not allow a ouija board into the house when we were young and forbade us to ever play with one. When I was an adult, he would not lend me the use of his chain saw though he would lend me every other tool. He died long ago from old age. To this very day, I will not use a chain saw. Call it superstition or sentimental respect. Don't tempt fate more than necessary and certainly not for trivial entertainment.

I am not superstitious, but I do honestly beleive there is some truth about a ouiji board being evil .

West Coast's answer to "Amityville Horror" This is allegedly based on a true story as was Amityville Horror. There are stories of haunted houses, possessions and such. Again the ouija board comes into play - don't mess with these things. There are places where tragedies have occurred and spirits/forms of energy linger on. Anyway this film was a cliffhanger and thought provoking.
Though I'm not disregarding spirits, I believe Amityville didn't go down the way it's told. If you look into Ed and Lorraine Warren, you will see a lot of it seemed to be a scam. I mean people did die in that house but the Warren's made it be something it wasn't. They are great story tellers at best.

I thought the main characters and the setting were great - but the story could have used a lot more drama and intensity in place of the couple of jump scares we got. Instead we ended up with a low grade build up to an anticlimactic ending. And I'm sorry but the neighbors' acting in the scene at their house was just awful.
