I bought one of these last week, most fun I have had in a car, I need sone more info on this - already looking for upgrades 😂 The handling etc is on another level - I doubt there is much that could keep with it through really twisty roads
I absolutely love my RaceChip S. I don't understand the bashing or negativity your product gets. I have no way to dyno my car to see the actual numbers difference it makes. All I know is it works. Haters will be haters I guess. Also the customer service from RaceChip has been excellent. I always received a response within a few days any time I had a question about something.
It is a product for young people, if you want to get a real chip tune. Find out who makes "cup cars" for the national championship in that respective class.

Hi! we are going to add the VW Polo 1.4TSI for the next database update, which should be this week. You can give it a try and check our shop at the end of this week. VW -> Polo V (6R, 6C) -> 1.4 TSi (125 HP/ 92 kW)
Does this have the Hyundai G4TP 1.6 Smartstream engine? Just wondering if it will work with the DN8 Sonata that has the same engine but an 8 spd standard automatic trans
Picked mine up and loving it! 242hp and 350mn is a lot for a car that only weighs 1200kg. If this car came with a dsg, it’d be a solid 5.5 sec 0-100km car. In the stock manual gearbox however, it’d be hard to anything faster than 6 seconds flat 0-100km.

2 sec faster but the motor will blow up and u lost the warranty. people who actually do this lost their mind xD
21% drivetrain loss for a fwd car is quite a lot..it should be no more than 15%..
Any chance of a auto i20n and is it true orders have been halted... trying to decide if polo or i20n ... which is more reliable

Tipps from Eisenmann exhaust? Is there a possibility to switch the Tipps in the OEM muffler only? What about the Exhaust valve
That is exactly what we did.
However, they are welded, so not plug and play (custom made for us).

Yes this same engine is also found in the Elantra N-line it's just it's tuned a bit different for the i20N

It should be faster 100-200 with 242hp considering the low weight. A 245hp Golf 8 GTI has around 16sec 100-200, with a much higher weight.
I guess the horsepower is close to 230 range, As you mention if it had 242 hp without loosing power uptop, it would achieve 100-200 close to 15.5
HORSEPOWER STOCK HAS 209, WITH RACECHIP ..223.
